items 3: content: I was excited to give this product a try for this winter as my skin has been feeling particularly dry this season. To start off the packaging is pleasing to the eye. I like how easily the top comes off with a few turns as well as the cover between the top and actual product which prevents the product from getting all over the lid and potentially wasting some product.
The moisturizer in itself has a gel like velvety feel to it and glides on the skin easily. It definitely gave my skin a long lasting hydrating feel to it while leaving a dewy glow that I loved. Honestly I was surprised after using this product for awhile to find that my flaking skin around my nostrils were no more. I will definitely be going to this product even more so during the winter or when my skin needs a pick me up. Another thing to note is that this product is safe to use during pregnancy which can be a concern trying to find decent and safe products to use.

It's not thick, so you can easily layer it with other skincare products, SPF or makeup.
The moisture surge moisturizer has helped a lot with dryness. After a shower when the skin on my face is feeling tight and uncomfortable, the moisture surge moisturizer instantly soothes and refreshes my skin.
My face becomes glowing and hydrated.
I have noticed I occasionally still struggle with dryness in some stubborn small spots, but the overall appearance and feel of my skin is better after applying the moisture surge.
I plan to try the moisture surge intense or the moisture surge concentrate for the extra dry patches I still struggle with.

The glass jar is 30ml, light pink gel texture and super lightweight. It does not have fragrance or scent in it which I like it to avoid skin irritation . It went on my skin smoothly and absorbed into my skin within less than 10 seconds! I’ve been using this Clinique moisturize surge gel cream in the past few days and I feel my skin is a bit more hydrated. It didn’t clog my pores. I have combined to oily skin depends on the season and occasionally breakouts. In the cold North America with temperature below -15 degrees Celsius outdoor, this might not be enough to keep combination to oily skin like mine hydrated all day in the cold dry winter but it’s a definitely a great gel cream for warmer weather or summer. I’m a believer of we should use different type of the texture of face cream in different seasons.

It claims to provide a glow after application, but I found it provided a very subtle glow that didn’t last long; it was not a deal breaker for me, I am happy with the level of hydration it offered. When washing my face, I could feel that my skin felt soft and I felt that the product was still on my skin like a mask. It has a bit of a scent (wasn’t noticeable after application), it smells like Clinique products, if that makes sense. It wasn’t irritating on my skin and didn’t cause any breakouts. Key ingredients include Aloe Bioferment and hyaluronic acid. It can also be used for make-up prep and has vitamins C and E to protect the skin against dehydrators.

Its fantastic under makeup, and I have even seen makeup artists use it for skin prep. My friends also love it and bought it after I let them try it. Its oil free and fragrance free (though it has a naturally pleasant light smell). It has instant hydration that smooths my skin and helps fill out my fine lines. Many companies try to copy this product, but they can't. Other brands made my rosacea act up and/ or break out. With any products though, speaking from experience, do a patch test before fully applying because everyone is different, but you should have no trouble at all with this one. This keeps my skin healthy. Don't waste your money on price gouging brands like Zo or La Mer. Do not fall for it. You'll have better results with Clinique.

It’s hydrating enough for me in the winter time, yet light enough in the summer time too. I love how soothing and cooling it feels on my skin. It’s my favourite to use in my morning routine as it wears really well under makeup and layers well with my other skincare products too. My skin seems to love it and it really helps keep my skin from getting dehydrated during these winter months. Despite the fact that I'm often tempted to swap to other face creams in order to see what they are like, I have bought this product four times so far. It does what it says on the pack and moisturises for ages. I haven't actually counted the number of hours, but I use this as my night time cream and my face still feels really nicely hydrated the next morning when I wake up. This is the only night time moisturiser I've ever bought that has lasted overnight and made my mature, dry skin still feel nice next morning. And it's a gel-cream formula! So easy to apply, no dragging, no rubbing in, it just glides on really quickly and feels absolutely lovely on my skin. I usually buy it when it's on offer so I pay a reasonable price for a great product. :)
