items 3: content: I recently upgraded to the Sonos Era 100, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is outstanding—crisp highs, rich mids, and surprisingly deep bass for its size. The stereo separation, thanks to the dual angled tweeters, creates a spacious listening experience even in a compact room.
Setting up the speaker was a breeze using the Sonos app, and I appreciate the inclusion of both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. This versatility allows me to stream music seamlessly from various sources. The addition of Apple AirPlay 2 is a great touch for Apple device users.
The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my living space. I also value the privacy features, such as the physical microphone switch, giving me control over voice assistant usage.
Overall, the Sonos Era 100 delivers premium sound, smart features, and a stylish design, making it a fantastic addition to any home audio setup.

The app is not a pain you just need to pair up all your speakers so that it will play from to room in your home. I’m happy with my speakers investment ha. I’ve been enjoying them since last year. I would recommend Sonos.

items 6: content: The Era 100 was my first entry into the SONOS ecosystem. I had wanted to join the elusive group of great-speaker-lovers a long time ago, just never got around to it, and didn't have the money. Well, due to a great sale, I was able to buy a single Era 100. I took it home, didn't know what to expect... and BAM my listening experience was amplified by a million. It just sounded incredible. But after a week, I decided I needed two Era 100s in order to have "true" stereo sound - and the addition of a second unit has elevated the experience even more. I then added the Sub Mini... perfection.
Will I "upgrade" to the Era 300s? Honestly... I don't know that they are worth the extra $700 or so for a pair of two. If you really really want Dolby Atmos and spatial audio, do it, but having heard both, I honestly prefer the 100s. But I really do think you need 2x of the Era 100s, if you can afford it, along with a Sub Mini. In terms of the audio itself, it's rich, clear, punchy, subtle yet powerful. The mids are there, as are the highs, the vocals sound great. The bass is present, but the addition of the Sub Mini has almost - seemingly - led to the Era 100s entirely "focusing", so to speak, on the mids and highs, whilst allowing the Sub Mini to take care of the lows, which it does incredibly. "Moondance" by Van Morrison sounds amazing, for example - that infamous baseline is handled with ease, all of the song is amplified, Van's voice pierces through the room with energy and warmth. The Era 100s can easily handle my listening habits, which range from jazz to classical, from hip-hop to rock.
Personally, I would recommend this to anyone seeking an awesome stereo setup for music - two Era 100s and a Sub Mini. And if anyone is considering the Era 300s... I think if you want spatial audio and/or to use them as surround speakers, they are worth it. But if you are like me, and are just using the speakers for music, the Era 100s with the Sub Mini work amazingly. I have more or less stopped using my beloved Sony over-ear XM5 headphones (the neighbours are probably a little annoyed) - they sound great too, and they're amazing for travelling and commuting, but the Era 100s are incredible, and I don't need noise cancellation at home (most of the time).
Final comments - it is definitely worth doing TruePlay when you get them, it makes a big difference. Ideally you should have them 8 feet or so apart, if you have a stereo pair, doing that elevated my experience. Finally, the only issue I have is that sometimes the speakers struggle with my mesh WIFI system. I'll play a song, and e.g. only the right Era 100 and the Sub Mini will play it. I then need to manually reconnect e.g. the left speaker. Doesn't happen often, usually it's flawless, playing music through Apple Music and AirPlay, always lossless if I can. If one node in my mesh system is down, they are usually very good at connecting themselves to a node that is working (again, infrequently).
Don't hesitate and get these, if you are like me and want an amazing stereo setup for music. One of my friends uses them as rear speakers paired with an Arc and Sub Mini for his home theatre, that works really well too, although if I was doing my home theatre (as I eventually will), I'll keep my Era 100s for music and buy the Era 300s to use as rear speakers with the Arc (or Beam etc).

items 7: content: I’ve been using the Sonos One SL as my surround sound (rear speakers) for two years, and honestly, they never felt like they were on! I’d constantly have to put my ear right up to them just to figure out what sound was coming out. I’d mess with the app, trying to adjust the volume, but it never really sounded right.
Then one day, while randomly scrolling through Best Buy, I came across reviews for the Era 100s. One review stood out—it mentioned the same issue I had with the One SL, that they barely sounded like they were on. That was all I needed to hear. On a rainy night, I headed to Best Buy, excited to see how big of an upgrade the Era 100s really were.
Let me tell you—they’re AMAZING! Once I set them up, I immediately used the Trueplay feature in the app to tune them, and now I’m finally hearing all the sounds I was missing. The rear audio is so immersive, it feels like I’m in the middle of the action. I paired them with my new Arc Ultra, and it’s pure movie heaven!
If you’re coming from the One SL like I was, I 100% recommend upgrading to the Era 100s. You won’t regret it!
Let me know if this review helped you! I’m literally a Best Buy Junkie lol I’m always there buying the latest and greatest! Im happy to help you guys out with any questions you might have!

items 8: content: I purchased the speakers on-line which was straight-forward and they arrived two days later. Can't fault Richer Sounds customer service and a great price to boot.
The speakers were bought for surround sound duties and paired with my Sonos Beam (Gen 2). I'm not very IT savvy so the mistake may have been mine rather than the Sonos app but I needed to 'attach' the Era 100's to my wi-fi first before they would pair with the Beam, only then could I add them as surround speakers to the Beam. This step wasn't clear in either the basic set-up sheet that came with the speakers or the online app. That said no major problem.
I've had the Beam for about 6 months and was very pleased with the sound in my home-cinema set-up. However adding the Era's 100 has brought it to a new level and the sound experience is amazing. I did toy with buying the Era 300 as they have the facility to compliment the Beam's Dolby Atmos but to be honest I'm not sure I would advocate the additional expense given the quality obtained using the 100's.
I would highly recommend these speakers.
Thanks again Richer Sounds

items 9: content: Added two Era 100s to my back porch seating area. they hooked up immediately to my app and even offered to set up in stereo automatically. They sound fantastic - I could not be happier. My whole house system is now complete: from the Sonos control app I can control music selection and volume levels throughout the house. 4 Sonos ports (as component input to older legacy stereos in primary bdrm/bath, workout room, outdoor grill area and main 5.1 system); Sonos Ones in kitchen(2); 2 Era 100s on porch; Single Sonos Ones in 2 other overlap areas and one rover - usually in garage. ...with Tidal high fidelity source the tunes are flowing and sound really, really good. Thanks to Crutchfield for being my "go to" source of equipment and information for over 30 years - we are rockin in Dallas.

items 12: content: I bought a pair of Era 100’s to be multi-use. Whilst their main use is as surrounds to a Ray and Sub-Mini for a TV in the extension, they’re also hooked up to a pair of Sonos One’s and an additional sub mini in the dining room to create a real wide sound field for music in the open plan kitchen, dining room and extension. For music I have both rooms playing together and the Era 100’s sound amazing. They carry more bass than the ones and have a wider field of sound, and truly fill the room. The clarity is incredible and they really shine on the trebles and mids when complimented by the sub mini.
As a pair of surrounds they’re sensational. They really do a great job of bringing a film to life and immersing you into the viewing experience. Wide range of sound that fills the room.
The experience as always from richer sounds was top notch too. I made the purchase over the phone and received fantastic assistance, especially as one of the items ordered was actually out of stock at the time but Richer Sounds sourced what I needed and got them all to me in one go.

items 13: content: I’m really impressed. The sound quality is rich, detailed, and surprisingly powerful for its size. The design is sleek and minimal, blending in easily with any space.
One thing I’d strongly recommend is get more than one.
While a single Era 100 sounds great on its own, pairing two really unlocks the full experience.
Overall, I highly recommend the Era 100 (especially as part of a set.). It's a great investment if you're building or expanding your home audio setup.

items 14: content: I have been using high-end headphones for about 10 years now, but I've never had a high-end speaker before, somehow. I thought: how much better could it be from the speaker in my high-end laptop or monitor? It turns out it's an experience you really can't compare. I can imagine that playing party music through this speaker alone would make for an amazing party experience. But that's just one use. A pair of these speakers would do great with a TV, and even one did wonderfully when set as my PC speaker. Rewatching TV shows and movies with this speaker feels like watching them for the first time. It's like being in the cinema but with higher sound quality. The speaker is also very loud. In my 60sqm living room, I use it on less than 50% volume, 50% is already a bit too loud, so I can only imagine it could easily fill a much much bigger space with sound. On top of everything else, the speaker is beautiful, and looks like something that would stand in a designer store or another luxury venue. The capsule looks very modern due to the lack of physical buttons, but using the controls is still easy and very pleasant due to the haptic feedback. Overall, a great speaker for every use I could think of and an easy choice for lovers of high-quality sound. I heard various YT reviewers say Sonos has the best sound and now I know what they meant. They also said their speakers don't do well with Android navigation, but that wasn't my experience with this speaker. Bluetooth pairing, connection, and navigation were flawless with all my devices: Android phone, iPad, Windows laptop, and PC.

items 15: content: This speaker is amazing! This is my first sonos purchase. The feel, and weight of this baby just screams quality.
I have multiple google speakers including the nest audio, and nest hub max. I will never listen to music on the google speakers again. The google speakers pale in comparison to the era 100.
It is a real joy to listen to music on this speaker. It is stereo with one speaker unlike the sonos one gen 2 which is mono. If I want reference quality speakers in my rooms I will take sonos anyday. I think the only thing that could top this speaker in my house, is my polk audio towers in my surround setup downstairs.
I have this speaker in my bathroom for ease of music. This is much easier than putting a bulky radio in there, or a crappy bluetooth speaker.
The speaker is just top notch quality in every respect.
