detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I have had this range for two years. It was not an option to choose another company as the builder supplied the appliances. The first range they supplied had a problem with the temperature gauge and would not heat properly. The builder replaced it. The second worked ok as long as I did not try and use it as a dual range. Anything placed on the top oven burns on the top because the heating elements are on the top and close to whatever you place in there. This range was working ok until about the middle of December 2023. I noticed that the temperature was not working correctly because everything I tried to cook took about 25 minutes longer than the recipe time. On Christmas Day, I preheated the oven before getting ready to place a ham inside. When I opened up the door, flames were shooting out of both opening where the heating element is located. I shut the door immediately and turned off the gas. I waited a few seconds and opened the door, the flames were smaller but still burning. I used baking soda to put out what was left. I called Samsung that day. A repair person from servicequick was sent out the following Thursday. He spoke little to no English. After taking the range apart, through his translator on his phone, he told me that there was nothing wrong with my Range. He blamed the problem on a grease fire. There was NO grease on the inside of my range. There was baking soda everywhere. My range was very clean. I find it hard to believe that the somehow grease got through the bottom liner of the range when everything else was immaculate. He told me I could now use my range. Really..... I'm afraid to turn it on for fear of what might happen this time. I know there is a class action suit against Samsung for problems with the temperature controls on their ovens. I guess I'm going to have to join that to get some satisfaction form this company.

detailedReviews 2: content: This is my second Samsung in less than 10 years and it is crap. All the four knobs on my first range broke and Samsung quoted 80 dollars per knob. I bought another model thinking it was better than the first and it is the same problem. The knobs have started falling off in less than 3 years. I am also getting error message C-31 and I cannot open my oven. This product is useless. I will not recommend it to anyone or any of their product. Unfortunately, all my kitchen appliances are Samsung. Samsung, fix this mess and compensate your customers.

detailedReviews 3: content: Only 5 years old and the temperature sensor is already shot. Oven doesn't get up to the temperature you set, I have to put it at least 25 degrees higher just to get it to cook right. And then sometimes the oven just randomly shuts itself off! You're baking and then bam, oven's randomly off! How can Samsung be THIS terrible at making an oven? My grandmother's oven is over a hundred years old and still works just fine!

detailedReviews 4: content: We Brought this stove along with the matching refrigerator (4-door flex zone) because of its feathers and sleek design only found with Samsung. As nice as they looked when new that didn't last long. Within the first year the black coating started to peel off! We called Samsung and the extended warranty through Lowes and were told that it was cosmetic and was not covered by any warranty, tell me who wants to spend that much money on appliance that looks like crap within the first year!!! We also had to have the clock panel replaced and this was Luckly covered by the extended warranty. The stove never did bake/roast correctly I either had to up the temperature by 25 degrees or more or cook everything longer then required. Not sure if I would ever by a Samsung product ever again.

detailedReviews 5: content: I am a true Samsung fan. I would have everything Samsung if I could. This oven replaced an average brand(had that one for 12 years without any problems) before that brand had stopped working because I wanted better. The model is pretty, with multiple features. I am disappointed in a few things.
*The piece that separates the ovens is large and bulky. Yes it needs to be, but there is not where to put it in the oven. The drawer underneath the oven isn't even close in size, so it leaves you to find a counter space that you will probably need for food prep.
* I found that there is a slight learning curve to cooking with convection (the reason I wanted this one), not terrible, but be prepared.
In light of that statement, it was not me but the thermostat that was faulty. I believe there would still be a little learning curve.
Leading me into the next set of problems
Fans became increasingly noisy at about 6months, but had not been "normal" since purchasing.
I didn't know this because I never had this type oven. Thank goodness I bought an extended warrantee. Both fans were replaced, along with the thermostat and ignitor(after the third visit from the repair people) After the second visit the oven smoked a noxious black smoke prompting the third call. The house smelled for days and so did the microwave oven that sits above the oven. ( No, I was only cooking little cheese sticks, nothing that splatters.) I am a little wary to try my oven again but soon I will.
Still love Samsung products. I am hoping this one is ok now. Did not expect something like this from Samsung especially in a oven that was just 1 year old, and again I hope its just a LEMON that is now fixed. Oh and buy the extra warrantee from your dealer. I couldn't even get through to Samsung without a long wait on the phone, I just hung up.

detailedReviews 6: content: i would leave zero stars if i could. this is my third double oven stove. i loved the first two that i had in other homes. i read many, many reviews of this one before purchasing. nowhere did i see that the top oven only does convection, and the bottom oven cannot do over 375 degrees. for me, it is useless. i will take the divider out and use it as a single oven until i can find a true double oven. i had a single oven that worked fine, but wanted the double oven so that i could bake at two different temperatures. this does not do that. if you need to bake something at over 375 degrees, without convection, you have to use the whole oven. it was a very expensive lesson. hopefully, i will be able to sell it for a reasonable price.

detailedReviews 7: content: the double oven is usless because everytime i try to use just the top oven it burns everything because it uses the broil flame even after selecting the bake option. the size of the upper oven places your food to close to the flame causing food to burn. my suggestion to samsung would be to eliminate the bottom storage drawer to make both upper and lower ovens larger. when testing oven temps both upper and lower were not even close to set temp. to make this oven work for anything i had to remove the divider and basically use it as a single oven. and i could have paid alot less for a single oven.
bad design, did not get what i thought i was purchasing.
do not waste your money on this bad samsung oven.

detailedReviews 8: content: i placed an order for this range in september 2020, it took 2 months and arrive to my kitchen.
2 months later, the oven racks got rusted, the oven gets overheated and shuts down on its own. the steam from cooking on the stove top would randomly presses the buttons on the control pad. called samsung to it was recommended to exchange the unit from the store
the retail exchanged the unit with another unit that failed upon installation.
a third unit was recently installed and the oven fan still fails and the oven gets overheated and shuts down.
i am very disappointed at this purchase and regret the decision to buy a samsung appliance.
i don't recommend this stove at all.
something wrong with the design!

detailedReviews 9: content: today is november 25, 2020. my warranty expired october 31, 2020. while cleaning the stove today, i noticed peeling paint around the door handles and on the face of the stove. 25 days out of warranty! as i went to post my review, i was asked "can we make it right?" i figured, sure maybe they can and started a chat with mahender j. he told me that it was not a warranty issue and would not be covered. ok, i figured as much, but he/she/ they claimed that they do not have any reported issues with peeling paint. i then posted links to the two threads regarding this in the samsung community and was told, "currently, we do not have any options". and then, "we at samsung care are here for you 24/7" and "if you need additional help, ask me anytime." really?!!

detailedReviews 10: content: I waited so long to replace our old electric stove with a higher quality gas range. I did a lot of research, read reviews and decided on the Flex Duo w/Dual Door Freestanding Gas Range. I have had it for just under a year now and have been very pleased with it especially the dual oven capability. However, I was disappointed when the knob of my power burner broke off. I've looked on the Samsung website for a replacement knob and it is almost $60 for one knob. To make it worse...it looks like it only comes in stainless steel so it won't match my other 4 knobs. So, I thought I had found a work around and took the washer off and was going to just replace the broken plastic adapter with a metal one but nope. Turns out that it's all one piece of plastic. You would think that for the price point that Samsung would have invested a little more into the knobs which are used multiple times a day; everyday of the year.
