snippets: I love the style of these trainers basically I've always been a fan of converse trainers anyway the CTA's and these are exactly the same obviously albeit with a few updates that converse have done to make the mask a friendly so these are the suede edition they're obviously the high tops as well and I think just overall they've got a very classic skateboard feel to them, overall i really like the shoes and i would definitely recommend them i really wasn't sure about these shoes since i felt like they really weren't my style and because i wasn't 100 sure of the styling of the shoe itself but i'm really glad i decided to cop them anyways they look a lot better in person and they also have that very grungy look especially in this black colorway also the suede just looks and feels great there are definitely a good change of pace from just your standard converse all star these are definitely going to be one of my go-to shoes for this upcoming fall

snippets: for just day-to-day wear these are really comfy out of the box they don't take much breaking in at all and that's because they're quite a thin shoe really so day-to-day walking around these are great you get the converse Nike insole with them which do have to say is pretty much a waste of time especially if you're skating for walking around and that kind of thing they're absolutely perfect they just add that little layer of comfort but if you're actually using these to properly skate you'll soon notice especially well I did anyway because I've got quite thin feet not much padding to them that you really do start to get heel breeze heel bruises pretty quickly probably after a week or two I would say I noticed that the heel protection in the insole was completely shot it stopped really doing any sort of any sort of work and generally quite hard on the feet these shoes if you're wearing and to skate a lot so I updated the insole I got some footprint insoles for them and that made a big difference actually they became a lot more better for long skate sessions so that's probably the first major criticism of these shoes and to be honest I think most Nike and converse shoes I think the insoles are really poor and they don't do an awful lot to protect your feet

snippets: so the weapons are actually from 86 so these have been around for quite a while and for those that are newer they might not remember the era but Magic versus Birdman they both had the weapons on choose your weapon was like the thing and convers really had a choke hold on the game of basketball back in the 80s and so we've seen the convers weapon like retro from time to time but this time I feel like they're doing a really good job reintroducing the weapon to a younger newer crowd and I like the slogan that they have too create history not hype so they're not creating like a limited edition sellout pair they're creating a pair for you guys to be able to buy and just create history and I kind of dig what they're doing there, so these retail at $120 and once I got these in hand I was like dude the leather quality is super nice on these really decent cut of leather on here felt very buttery they did give me this pair I didn't know how much the retail was if I had to guess honestly I was going to say probably 150 170 but 120 is a pretty decent price point for the quality of materials that you get, as I mentioned bringing SGA into the promotion is awesome obviously the dude's a beast right now for OKC doing amazing stuff over there and he's a pretty fashion forward sort of guy too so the fact that he's rocking a pair of these I think is going to open the doors for Next Generation stuff also considering the price point at 120 I think it's a really nice buying for a pair of sneakers not too terrible it could be a lot worse but the price the quality of leather on here is actually a pretty good deal considering Jordan Retros I think are like 180 or so it's $60 off and I feel like these probably have better quality than a standard pair Air Jordan once, Indie was snowing like crazy and I wore these pretty much when I was walking around outside in the snow and the ice and stuff and so I got to say that the grip on these are really nice as well they have a lot of extra durable traction on the bottom and it's a thick boy outsole of traction on here definitely appreciated that when I was walking through Indie it felt like a luxurious boot when I was walking through the streets honestly the leather held up really well in the snow and all the debris and it was just a really nice pair to be walking around outside in

snippets: for just day-to-day wear these are really comfy out of the box they don't take much breaking in at all and that's because they're quite a thin shoe really so day-to-day walking around these are great you get the converse Nike insole with them which do have to say is pretty much a waste of time especially if you're skating for walking around and that kind of thing they're absolutely perfect they just add that little layer of comfort but if you're actually using these to properly skate you'll soon notice especially well I did anyway because I've got quite thin feet not much padding to them that you really do start to get heel breeze heel bruises pretty quickly probably after a week or two I would say I noticed that the heel protection in the insole was completely shot it stopped really doing any sort of any sort of work and generally quite hard on the feet these shoes if you're wearing and to skate a lot so I updated the insole I got some footprint insoles for them and that made a big difference actually they became a lot more better for long skate sessions so that's probably the first major criticism of these shoes and to be honest I think most Nike and converse shoes I think the insoles are really poor and they don't do an awful lot to protect your feet
