content: Best sound quality on the market. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 are in a league of their own when it comes to sound quality. (You can also tweak the sound to your preference through the Sennheiser smart control app) The connection range it also quite long so you can easily move around without having to worry about disconnecting. The headphones work wired and wireless. The noise cancellation in also good for blocking out ambient noise such as insect, fans and such it also blocks out loud or high pitched noised to a certain extent. So I would say that the noise cancellation is great for a person who enjoys playing games or watching movies from the comfort of their room, but not for travellers or any kind of outside use. These headphones are not meant to be used outdoors so they do not have any kind of water or dust resistance. Although they won't get damaged from light sweating so you can comfortably use these in summer. The touch control is very responsive. Also the battery life on these is monstrous. The Momentum 4 clamps a bit too hard onto your head in the beginning but the clamping force gets adjusted to you head size the more you use it. So in the beginning it will be slightly uncomfortable to use these for more than 2 hours but over time it gets better. At the end of the day if you care about about sound quality, battery life and can afford them then the Sennheiser Momentum 4 are the best option and the other features are just the cherry on top.

The battery life is impressive, lasting much longer than I expected, and the ANC does an excellent job blocking background noise. That said, I’ve run into some connection issues that occasionally cause sound cracking, which can be frustrating but i kinda understand why that happens - ANC cutting in, bluetooth handovers, source switching etc. Overall, though, these headphones deliver fantastic audio and comfort, making them a great choice despite the minor flaws.

content: I'm a hobbyist beat maker and i work full time as a software Engineer, writting this review on 15 oct, will update further by date, it has been only two days of me using them so I'll update this review as we go. Stay Tuned SIMRAN Banwait . Update - 25th Oct, 2024 . It has been more than a week now, they are good and i mean it, i am personally use to listening music on Audio technica ath-m50x which are made for mixing, I've been listening to them from last two years, hence i had developed the habbit of a listening to low bass since mixing headphones are balanced and they are a little low in bass. So because of this when i got these momenum 4, i was worried because i didn't liked the sound at all. They are so warm and bass heavy for me (initially) i almost thought of returning them. Luckily Sennheiser have an app that allows you to shape the sound the way you like, so i changed the EQ as my liking. I have attached the screenshot of my EQ as well, please don't judge me, keep this in mind i have habbit of listening to a studio grade mixing headphones 🎧 and they are crisp in detail so with this eq i am trying to match my audio experience for the momentum as per my previous headphones. In general what i am trying to say is that this EQ feature alone itself is the most important feature for any user. If you like their sound out of the box keep it that way, you don't, try tweaking those eq bars as per your liking. . I have one more thing to share today. They get uncomfortable after 2 hours of usage, they get alot sweat and the clamping force starts hurting you. Which i beleive is fair because you shouldn't even use them for that long in one session. It's not recommended at all. . Another thing that i would like to share is their battery life (mamamiya) it's amazing, with one full charge and extreme usage, they can last 3 days, with normal usage they can last a week. They really have great battery, trust me. . Anyways I'll keep you posted, stay tuned. . 25th feb, 2025 . So i went to a mall yesterday and i saw sony XM-5, my instant thought was that they have bigger ear cups, hence they are more comfortable. But listen, they don't sound as good as momentum 4, it's been 3 months now since I'm using these, I'm very happy with sound and battery, but I'm not happy with the comfort. Ever since I've tried sony xm-5, I've been thinking about their comfort. Don't get me wrong, these momentum 4 are good in comfort but only for an hour or 2, sony felt like you can wear them all day. Also sony are much lighter in weight.

snippets: now as for noise cancelling this is an area in which sony has not just had an upper hand but kind of dominated and i still feel that the sony xm5 have the most broadly effective noise canceling you can get today but the momentum wireless 4 they are right on sony's heels now it's close enough that when i was playing music or movies or even podcasts it was super difficult for me to tell a difference in fact to hear any difference in the anc effectiveness at all i had to turn off the music and just a b compare the two in a variety of noisy places and when i did that the sony superiority was just way more obvious it just quiets down the outside world more effectively and quiets a wider range of noises now they both have adaptive anc so they can target the hum of an airplane engine or the wash of road noise in a vehicle but the sony wins no doubt, now my friends we have finally come to sound quality and let me not mince words here the sennheiser momentum for wireless have better sound quality, so which should you buy well i'd say that if you're a frequent flyer if you do a lot of business on the road and i do mean like actually on the road or while walking around you make some important calls and how you sound on the other end of the line matters then you want the sony xm5 they have better overall anc and call quality for just about every other reason though it's the momentum for wireless for me i mean i'm going to spend a few weeks with both got a few more flights coming but right now the momentum for wireless stand a very good chance of going into my backpack and staying there they are tremendously good headphones and the fact that they come in under the xm5 in price makes them a truly compelling option check them out i think you'll love them
