This bonding oil is a multi purpose product that serves many functions. For example, it provides heating protection up to 450°F, reduces frizz and flyaways, softens & detangles hair, boosts shine, strengthens & repairs hair, etc.
I really like the lightweight formula of this bonding oil. It absorbs quickly into my hair and doesn't feel greasy or heavy. Nor does it weigh down my hair. I think the best way to use the oil is to blow dry your hair after its wet, and get it to like 60-80% dry, and then spread the oil throughout your hair, lightly brush it, and finish blow drying. That way, the heat helps the bonding oil take effect and you notice the difference in your hair instantly. Also the plastic bottle and easy yet secure top make it comfortable to get out the right amount of product without spilling everywhere or making a mess. I use 3-4 drops, rub my hands together and then just run my hands across the outside of my hair after my shower. My hair dries quickly, so it is usually 1/3 dry at this point. I then use olaplex's volumizong cream and dry my hair. It looks SO much healthier and amooth now! Never would have used oil on my barely there hair before but I am hooked. I bought the biggest bottle they have (which should last me the whole year) and gave the rest of the sample bottle to my mom, whose hair is grey and very thin and fine. She said it took away her frizziness as well. I also use it to smooth out the frizzies deom my daughter's curly hair in the morning (silk pillowcases only work if you sleep in your pillow ☹️) and it makes her look less like a feral animal and basically this is the best product I've bought for my hair in years!

The clear, minimalist packaging was very easy to use and spill proof. I just unscrewed the top, placed 2-3 drops on my palm and ran it through freshly washed hair. After that, I was ready for heat styling. Past heat protectant products have felt very oily, waxy, sticky, and clumpy, but not with Olaplex. The oil is very light and hydrating. This gave my hair a freshly conditioned feel. My hair was well protected from intense heat after a round with the dryer and hair iron. Even after heat styling, my hair looked silky smooth and healthy. I loved that this uses natural plant oils (sunflower/moringa/green tea/grape seed) to bring in healthy hydration and it smelled so lovely. It works well on both color treated and natural hair, in case I decide to dye my hair in the future. The Olaplex Oil is truly impressive and should be a daily hair must have. The price point is definitely higher than some other hair oils, but in my opinion, it's worth every penny. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a really long time. And the results are amazing!!! Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil has become a staple in my hair care routine, and I can't imagine going without it. If you're looking for a hair oil that really works, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. You won't be disappointed. I would definitely recommend it, and repurchase it!!!

My favorite way to incorporate this into my hair care routine is by using it while my hair is damp. It can be used on dry hair as well! Side note, a little goes a long way, even better because it will last you longer! I simply put a few drops onto my hand, then working into my hair from the middle of my hair all the way down to the ends. I tend to steer clear from using this on the top of my head, because I do get oily more so on the top than anywhere else. Then once I've applied, give it a nice brush through, and then put my hair into a bun, and proceed with doing my makeup. By the time it is ready to blow dry, it's worked it's magic more than enough It adds instant shine, tames the flyaways, and my ends looks so beautiful and sleek! This is perfect for people like myself who use hot tools, like straighteners, blow dryers and or curling irons, because it has heat protectant in to protect your hair from damage! My hair feels so beautiful, shiny and it's like non-stop run my fingers through it all day GOOD! Oh and the scent? Smells like oranges, or a creamsicle of some sort! Such an invigorating, uplifting scent! To sum it all up, yes I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone who has hair struggles like frizz, flyaways, even curl control! And it's for all hair types. I have medium-but fine wavy hair, and a lot of it! (To my waist) to be exact! So finding stuff to calm the frizz is always a bonus! I love love love this oil! Highly recommend!

I regularly struggle with frizzy, dull hair & use heating tools on a daily basis as well. I have tried so many heat protectant products, but was looking for one that will also strengthen and repair my hair. After searching and trying so many things, I have finally found that product!
This bonding oil is absolutely AMAZING! Not only does it strengthen and repair your hair, but it also detangles, extends color, & protects from heat up to 450 degrees!
As a girl that also sometimes dyes my hair, I love that this helps protect and extends the vibrancy of the color too.
This bonding oil literally does EVERYTHING and has so many great benefits for your hair. And the best part is that ALL hair types can use it. How cool is that?

For reference I'm 27 and live in the midwest with type 2c wavy collarbone length hair that leans on the dry side. I use this bonding oil as a detangler, bond building treatment, heat protectant, and styling oil in one! After application my hair is visibly more shiny, healthier looking, and with a luminosity that makes it seem lit from within. This tames frizz and fly aways without weighing down my hair or making it feel greasy. It also protects my hair from damage on the days I decide to use a hot brush or other heated tools. Provides a decent amount of slip to make detangling a breeze and a couple drops is all i need for a single application, so the 1 fluid ounce bottle lasts me around 2 months. I focus on applying it mostly on my ends but i also work it up with my hands into the midlength sections of my hair. Leaves my hair feeling so incredibly silky soft I adore it! The packaging is great, though I do wish the bottle was opaque to protect the formula from uv rays. I can shake out a drop or two without using too much thanks to its design. Overall, I love the benefits this product has on my hair and especially love that it takes the place of multiple products in my routine. Highly recommend!
