This book details almost every aspect of a Navy Seals life, and is very interesting. it goes into great detail about Marcus Luttrell's life before he became a Navy Seal and that is something that I found very interesting. Once he goes off to Navy Seal training, the author talks about all of the training that he was put through. The training that the Navy Seals go through is some of the toughest military training in the world, and this is why they are the most elite fighting force in the world today. The last part of the book details Operation Redwings, and the events that unfolded on that mountain in Afghanistan on that June day. Lone Survivor is a must read, and will open your eyes to teamwork and hope in the face of terrible odds..
