detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I don't know if any Bing Lee staff read these reviews. I bought this laptop 4 days ago. I thought I was going to go to another store to pick it up. Luckily it was just in time. It's a very good laptop so far. It has everything you need. The only downside is you need to plug it in when playing games. You need laptop cooler as well to make sure your laptop doesn't overheat. Thanks to God it arrived on time saves me the trouble to travel to another suburb to collect this laptop. There's nothing wrong to give a simple phone call asking questions for a good laptop. Some other stores has good laptops but they were too expensive. The things that you want is not always at the store that you expected. My advice is to research and make several phone calls to every store that sells laptops to be sure you get the right laptop and the right price as well. Thank you Hugo for helping me out you answered my questions and you were very patient you also had knowledge of computers which made it very helpful. The other staff members that were friendly and welcoming you guys are a God send. If your looking to buy a laptop this is the best place to go into. Don't go to the other stores to buy a laptop where people that sell any computers don't know any knowledge of computers and can be rude to you. JW Computers and Bing Lee stores are probably the ones that can help you out. If you need advice to buy computers and laptop etc see Hugo or Leon they will help you out. Thank you again much appreciated your help Merry Christmas and blessings to all the Bing Lee staff members there.

detailedReviews 2: content: Items arrived nicely with 3 gifts (keyboard, mouse and cleaning kit).
Overall the acer laptop is completely trash for their own software like nitro sense and acer care.
Nitro sense not doing a job at all to maintain the laptop temp like lite browsing 5 tab on Microsoft edge and 5 software at startup the laptop temp range around 48-56c°.
Moreover, Acer care centers have bugs related to acer quick access. If you turn on usb charging or something like that on quick access every time you boot up your laptop the feature for cut off battery charge when near 80% in acer care center will turn off
Before this I had a lenovo ideapad gaming 3 their own software lenovo vantage I think. This software is really great and pretty interesting I would say compared to acer nitro but I had to return that laptop because there are a few scratches on the laptop body when it arrives.
In a nutshell, from my perspective if you want a laptop with the good brand software related to control fan speed, auto cut off when reaching a certain level of charging or whatever maybe you can go with asus or lenovo. On the other hand if you want a cheap laptop (not really cheap but still okay for me) with the up to date specs maybe latest gen processor you can go with acer
Notes:
1. So far I have already tried Acer nitro 5 2022, Lenovo ideapad gaming 3 and command alpha glock 5 alpha (custom laptop)
2. I would advise you to not only look for the specs alone it's really vital for you to also check for customer service after sale. For instance, I used a custom laptop from tech armory which is command alpha glock 5 alpha. At that time the only laptop came with rtx 2060 + i5 gen 9 (cpu processor not mobile like every laptop). At first everything is amazing because your laptop is the beast in terms of specs but when you want to update the driver not the regular drive like nvidia, wifi card, I mean like something more like bios and etc. Trust me you will struggle just to find it and for my case after searching for 1 hour I finally found it but the vendor for my motherboard I think clevo didn't maintain their website at all.
3. If you want to buy your laptop from online it's okay but make sure to visit the physical store first to check the model that you want to buy. I regret buying this acer laptop because of their after sale service. I already visited the local store maybe like 10 of them but none of them had the latest version of the laptop maybe because I lived in Northern.

detailedReviews 3: content: I bought this computer for my son for Christmas. It is considered an entry level gaming PC. My son has been doing his homework on it and playing CounterStrike 2 and Delta Force mostly. Both games play smooth with a high frame rate. For the price, it is an excellent computer. It doesn't have the RGB keyboard like most gaming PCs but it is backlit. There is a 512Gb NVMe drive installed. It will probably be the first thing to get upgraded. Right now it's still only half full.
The best part about this laptop is the features you usually only find in higher end models. It has Thunderbolt 4 which allows you to connect to a docking station with just a USB C cable. You also get 40gb/s speed for external SSD drives. The Ethernet jack is 2.5gb/s. The screen is 144Hz. Just really nothing negative to say about this laptop for this price point. Sure you can spend more and get a higher end model but for $600, you cannot get better specs at the time of this review

detailedReviews 4: content: I have had this almost $3000 laptop for one year and somehow it has consistently lowered my expectations of technology.
I got my laptop last year around September/October as I was in dire need of something- anything to safe my work from a near 7 year old, tiny, broken laptop that was meant to probably last a year tops.
For my birthday, my mother was so kind to hear my troubles and buy what we thought was a great deal at the time. The man who served us was lovely, yet held back key information that crippled an 8 hour illustration, making me have to start the piece from scratch and lose a chunk of income from it for the delay.
Mind you, I had stated loud and clear what I intended to use it for: Drawing/Illustration making, Gaming, Video Editing, Streaming as well as some other personal use like writing or whatnot. I had asked the fellow if it could keep up with games that had larger files or heavy usage, and without skipping a beat said absolutely. I made sure to double check that It was ready for use straight out of the box- which we joked about the usual song and dance of setting up tech, he said was good to go out the gate.
Fast forward not even a week and I'm back in for the illustration I had just lost and almost lost my mind over. I did my best to not cause a fuss, but ask you could guess, I was upset and asked for help on why it kept lagging and killing my work.
Updates. The man over at the IT desk had a look and saw that it hadn't updated since I had got it.
To say I was mad, not only at the man who had sold it, but myself, was an understatement.
But surely that was the last of the problems....
Fast forward a few months into 2023 and things are running ok. I had temporarily moved to QLD in this time and hadn't encountered anything out of the ordinary until the laptop just stopped. I restarted it and it was fine, but then the next day it did it again- stopped receiving an internet signal, curser lag, forced shutdown/ restart and then it was fine.
So I began to make sure I was shutting it off completely each and every time I left it for more that an hour, but then it began to happen when the computer was inactive for say 30 minutes.
When I took it to a stone up there they said tough luck and to go back to where it was originally bought and have them fix it.
So in the process of spending just under $3000, you too can have the worst experience when it comes to technology, ranging from several hours of work being deleted and having the only solution be to "send it off and be left without a computer for possibly a month" to constant restarts, application lag, misinformation and straight up being told lies!
Hope it makes corporate happy to know just how much they have inconvenienced a person who normally avoids conflict to the point of having them come in multiple times only to be turned away.

detailedReviews 5: content: While this is to be considered a gaming laptop, it is rather in the lighter side but it does game well for the price point if you are looking for gaming on the go. I have had no issue playing forza motorsports and call of duty. Graphics can't be compared to a gaming tower but are still good. The screen is 144hz 1080p. I was getting around 70fps is my games from the on board statistics monitoring which is nice. Other notes -comes with 2 8gb sticks of Ddr5 ram that is easily upgradable. - there is a 2nd unused PCIe nvme slot that you an slide another ssd in for a reasonable price if you truly want to game on this machine, I would recommend it. Straight out of the box, the machine can do a good job but having the ability to update those two is a great. Overall, I do recommend this machine for the pricepoint and what it is. A portable gaming laptop with decent but not over the top graphic capabilities.

detailedReviews 6: content: I recently bought this 2024 Nitro V laptop after trying a 2023 nitro 5.
I use a dell WD19S thunderbolt 4 dock to hook up to 2 24" acer monitors and it runs great, The processing speed is great for multi tab browsing and gaming. You may not be able to run everything on ultra settings but it still provides a good bang for buck. The screen is a little dim in comparison to higher end models but still does the job. This has handled all I've thrown at it so far. 3d printing and cad, music, Car tuning, Ms Office and gaming. Bluetooth connectivity works great. Plastic casing that has some flex when pressed but that goes with the price point.
Pros: Built in lift, screen has 2 knubs so when opened more than 100 degrees, it slightly lifts the laptop up allowing air circulation underneath. Fan speed is better than previous years too. I found them to get louder than normal while running Starcraft 2 in top graphic settings but not near as loud as the 2023 model got. It is also a slimmer and tighter build than previous Nitro models. Good multi tab browsing. Some call it bloatware but I like the Nitro
Cons: Mediocre battery, under 59 wH when ran command battery check. Nvidia laptop 40 series cards are actually a size down form what they state when compared to desktop counterpart. ex. 4060 laptop is a desktop 4050 die size. 4070 lap is a 4060 desk etc. No RGB keyboard like previous years, just a basic white. Probably to get people to jump up to next tier predator line, which does. Keyboard Fn functions limited/ poorly chosen for use...cannot lock screen, backlit key brightness etc. Heat sink is just under screen, top of key board...poor placement as screen gets really hot where it is and makes me wonder if it will cause issues down the road.
This goes on sale for $1400 cad or less. great price point for what you get. With the savings can buy a Logitech G502 lightspeed mouse ($179.99) which is also incredible to use with the laptop. If you buy them together ask the sales associate for a discount on the mouse. I was able to get $50 off the mouse as well for $124.99

detailedReviews 7: content: I was beyond excited excited to try out the Acer Nitro V 15.6 Gaming Laptop and it did not disappoint. On paper the specs speak for themselves and it is shown with the excellent performance. The 16 GBs of DDR5 ram make the computer feel super snappy especially when gaming and booting up large games. The GeForce RTX 4050 is the perfect graphic card and runs games smoothly and crisp while taking full advantage of the 144hz display. The 2.1 HDMI allows for seamless connection to your external monitor for even better visuals. The windows operating system is easy to use and has a very modern feel to it. Applications are easily downloaded and easy to install. The dual fan cooling system allowed me to game for hours without feeling as though I was running a risk of overheating or any hindering to the performance. Battery life is amazing and charging is quick. The power cord is of decent length and easily plugs into the left side of the laptop. Wifi-6 took full advantage of my 1GB internet connections and I experienced no lag in my online gaming which is a necessity now a days so I greatly appreciated it! The Laptop right out of the packaging is beautiful the blue and gray design pattern gives it a really cool/fast look! The cons I have with this laptop is that I wish the screen was a bit bigger. I also wish it was maybe 1440p resolution at least instead of just 1080p. 9/10

detailedReviews 8: content: Starts out with fans pretty loud, but that’s normal for gaming laptops. Fans toned down significantly before starting COD Warzone.
I’ll start out with some specs during gameplay.
Started out in Performance mode/overclocking with fans on auto. Was getting 144 to 145 FPS very consistently, lowest I was seeing was around 125-134 FPS and for onkly milliseconds. Normal to bounce around. Packet loss 10%. GPU running steadily around 69-71 C, but by the end of gameplay running around 80 C. Fan very tolerable during gameplay especially because I’ll generally be using headphones anyway. Latency at 75 MS. RAM running at 80% , GPU usage 83%, CPU 6% usage, CPU temp 70 C.
Ran COD with Normal gameplay and auto fan. Fan noise is slightly better but even so, very tolerable, don’t even notice it. Had to really pay attention to catch the difference. Graphics running at 85-100 FPS consistently, GPU usage 69%, Latency 30-32 MS, PACKET LOSS 0%, GPU 71 C, GPU 75C, CPU USAGE 7%, CPU 70C, SYTSTEM 57C, RAM USAGE 76%.
No ghosting noticeable in either mode. Very noticeable difference in performance from performance mode, to normal , but again, the numbers above support that, and it’s to be expected. I wanted this laptop to play my steam library when traveling for work, and this does not disappoint for performance. Since I never have much time to play on the road, I’ll probably continue to overclock during gameplay. My desktop at home ,I would never do that. Construction is lacking, but get’s the job done. Just need to keep my butter fingers from dropping it. Case is all plastic except behind the monitor . In all honestly, it’s kind of nice to not have to lug around a big steel metal of a monster, laptop. Everything about the RAM, hard-drive size, and case material, are where I would expect them to be for this price point.
16GB RAM , running Windows 11- 64 bit, 475 GB SSD hard-drive, (3) USB-A ports, (1) USC-C port, (1) HDMI port. Not a fan of Windows 11 but that’s a me problem, nothing to do with the laptop.
All in all I’m very happy with it so far. I would recommend to anyone looking for a mobile PC gaming option ,that won’t break the bank. It’s really performed outstanding so far. Nice laptop that I hope continues to perform at this level!

detailedReviews 9: content: I was looking to invest in a gaming laptop for my daughter that would give high performance for game play, and something that wouldn't be outdated quickly. We are both very happy so far. Reviews on other sites warned about this brand being noisy and over heating, but this model is running very quietly so far with no problems. My daughter says the graphics are excellent, and she has been able to download everything she wanted to smoothly. We went for this model as the specifications were over what we needed. Other, slightly cheaper models and brands, didn't give clear information about their specifications to run particular games so we went for this one to give us 100% confidence. It cost more than I would've liked to have paid, but happy overall.

detailedReviews 10: content: Acer Nitro V15.6 Full HD.🎖️I received these products for free from Influenster for testing purposes. I give an honest review since I used it for the first time. Receiving it in my hands, I don't believe the most wonderful thing that happened to me. Fast, superior Intel Core i5 processor, good for fast web browsing and fast YouTube access. The laptop has a beautiful design, thin but extremely sturdy. Convenient, easy to carry to work, school, or travel. The design is beautiful, sharp from the lines, the logo is beautifully engraved on the machine, the logo reflects the sunlight like diamond rays. Slim, compact design with durable quality. The screen is sharp, suitable for multimedia use, work, study, browsing, design, games, as well as watching YouTube, the sound is clear and responsive. The battery's durability is long, I let it charge for a few hours, but the durable processing system helps the battery last longer. Great!! The Core i5 processor is a solid choice for anyone looking for a balance between performance, design, and price. It's suitable for students, employees and gamers who require high-end specs but still want a reliable laptop for everyday use. I fell in love with this machine.❤️. Highly recommended, very good quality and would recommend to anyone.💁♀️
