My sister purchased 3 of these and the corner table for her game room and she raved about how great and affordable they were. The 39 desk is plenty big for my laptop and other things. The white is super bright and has brightened up my room. I am planning on buying another. It doesn't feel or look cheap. It is very sturdy. So far there are no scratches and I've been using it for a couple of days. Only time will tell if the surface does scratch as others have pointed out in reviews but even if it does its a $8.99 top. I can always replace the top in a couple of years if that happens. I'm very happy with this desk and would definitely recommend it.

While assembling, I noticed that the screw holes on the tabltop to place the leg-holder frame are hilariously small. The screws given are sooo cheap, that after driving the screws a couple of times with a screw driver, the star-pattern wore off and screw driver lost its grip. Unbelievably poor design. The screw holes were so tight that you have to use an electronic driver to screw the legs. If you do not have one, then you can never screw the legs with bare hand with a screw driver.
After assembling, I noticed the table is wobbly, not stable, and moving a lot even my floor is super smooth.
I am disappointed at IKEA. You guys are playing like a cheap thrift store ripping on every dollar but giving the worst product. I will never again buy anything from IKEA

My hand is legitimately blistered and was sore all night after trying this. (I took a photo if you want to see it IKEA!!!) I couldn't get the screws in for love nor money. I went back through all their instructions and they NEVER mention a drill, the entire manual online consistently depicts a screwdriver. I'd love to see anyone get this done manually. DO NOT BUY unless you have a powerdrill.

While assembling, I noticed that the screw holes on the tabltop to place the leg-holder frame are hilariously small. The screws given are sooo cheap, that after driving the screws a couple of times with a screw driver, the star-pattern wore off and screw driver lost its grip. Unbelievably poor design. The screw holes were so tight that you have to use an electronic driver to screw the legs. If you do not have one, then you can never screw the legs with bare hand with a screw driver.
After assembling, I noticed the table is wobbly, not stable, and moving a lot even my floor is super smooth.
I am disappointed at IKEA. You guys are playing like a cheap thrift store ripping on every dollar but giving the worst product. I will never again buy anything from IKEA

detailedReviews 209: content: I love the amount of space it provides, but this table can get very annoying, it wobbles like crazy when you're writing, the slight movement of your forearm shakes the table and it's even worse when you're erasing, very disappointed because aside from that it's a great table. Although I have no problems when typing or using the mouse.

But it comes as separate products: "LINNMON Table Top, white" + "ADILS Leg, white", without any tools for assembly (screwdriver, it shows on the instruction).
The legs of the table has a lot of many small defects. But the table top has the biggest defect - one corner "protrudes, peels off". I have a photo but IKEA feedback does not provide functionality to add photos. The table top is very fragile at all!
Delivery failed. I got information about the day when it must be delivered. But it was delivered 3 days before that day with only a 1-hour notification!
After purchase Support / service not exist at all! I spend 3 days trying to connect with IKEA support via website chat - but it always says "All co-workers are occupied for the moment" - during all these three days!
As a result - all are very-very terrible: products quality, delivery service, and purchase support - all are TERRIBLE!!1

I then found out urban company does assembly of IKEA furniture, and booked for one. Hoping the product looks fine after they assemble. One of the kegs came with a dent but i don't have the patience to return and search for another so just keeping it. So, yes, not very happy

detailedReviews 214: content: I hadn't shopped at Ikea for almost a decade. Last week I went to purchase this table for my office. However, the chemical offgas was unbearable.
So I decided to leave it in the garage for 3 days to "vent out" the smell. But the moment I moved this back to my office it stinks again.
I've also wiped it many times with mild soap and water (top and bottom) with no help. Now I'm just running my air purifier on max.
