detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I am a recent convert from the Apple iPhone world. Which I had been for years. I grew tired of the lack of customizability and limited options. I have been using it for about 1 month. With that said I absolutely love this s23. I looked around a while to see if this or the flip was better. I love the customizability of so many features on the S23 along with the Good Lock App which lets me change the way my keyboard looks to how my home screen can look. You can also move apps on the home screen wherever you want ! I also appreciate the many more apps available for this phone. I was also impressed with the Camera App and the many options there. Battery life is also much better along with the option of letting me know that 80 percent full charge will save battery life. Speaking about charging, I really like that it tells you how long it will take to charge the phone ! Lastly, I really like the swipe down and swipe down again menue which really makes it easy to access frequently used parts of the phone. All in all I am now in the Samsung world. I will not be returning to apple in the phone world....

title: Love the customization, better than Apple.
detailedReviews 2: content: I've had this phone since March of 2023. This is by far the best phone I've ever used. Everything works seamlessly. Games run amazingly on it with graphics turned to the max. Videos look great when watching on the go. Photography/video is really good for everyday people, the attached picture was taken at sunset a while back with the night setting, no flash, it was almost dark outside, I think twilight would be about correct, I hadn't had the phone for long and was testing things, and the picture still turned out good. The endless customization from the Galaxy theme store, or make your own with Theme Park inside the Good Lock app that's in the Galaxy store. Good Lock(made by Samsung) makes almost everything on the phone changeable or customizable. But for me what sets Samsung apart from everyone else is Samsung Dex. With a keyboard, mouse, and any screen, you have a fully capable computer at your fingertips. I don't know why they don't push this as much but it's an awesome feature. And all of this in a phone I can use with one hand without sacrificing CPU. Any of the s23 series is amazing. I'm just glad to have a phone that fits in my hand just right. I promise if you're thinking about switching to Samsung or need a new phone, the s23 series will not disappoint. I've owned Apple, I've owned Pixel, and I've owned Motorola phones. If the s23 is a sign of the future of Samsung I'll ride with them til the wheels fall off. What are you still reading this for go buy an S23.

detailedReviews 3: content: I use my Galaxy S23 mostly as a personal assistant, scheduling and communications device. The features I am most impressed with are unique to Samsung, and they involve built-in customization and automation capabilities enabled through the Samsung "Good Lock" application. Just about any setting you can think of involving the screen, audio, alarms, notifications, etc. can be customized and scheduled, or invoked in relation to external factors such as the time of day, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, battery state and many others. There's even a provision whereby you can create system level macros to start, stop and manipulate applications. These sorts of advanced customization and automation routines are possible on other Android phones only by using a third-party application such as Tasker or Automate. With Samsung, you know they have been tested and optimized for this particular hardware.
Beyond what I've mentioned, I appreciate the fact that Samsung continues to make available a relatively small phone with flagship level specifications. At this point I do not see any other brand of phone that offers these exemplary features.

detailedReviews 4: content: I had my heart set on a Google Pixel 8 for the pure Android experience, but once I started reading reviews, they unveiled some shortcomings that put me off. In addition, they're not sold in NZ through official channels.
My preference is for a phone that is small and light and I wanted a phone that was guaranteed to get several years of security updates. My previous phone was a Huawei P30, which was a fantastic phone, and I'd still be using it if it hadn't stopped receiving Android security updates. In the end, my final choice came down to the Samsung Galaxy S23 or the iPhone 15. The iPhone 15 has a slightly better camera and it feels better in the hand, but it costs a lot more. Also, I use a lot of Google services, so it made sense to stick with Android.
The decision became a no-brainer when the S23 256GB model was offered on promotion at 25% off RRP. I don't actually need 256GB of storage, but the 256GB model uses a faster type of SSD storage than the 128GB model and the promotional pricing meant it only cost a bit more than the 128GB model.
So far, I'm loving the phone. I think green is the best of the colour options. My only criticism is the glossy frame, which feels slippery in the hand and gets covered in fingerprints. I wish it had a matte frame like the iPhone 15. I was planning to use the phone "naked" but the glossy frame means a case is essential.

detailedReviews 5: content: I like both iPhones and Android phones for different reasons and keep both in the family. The Samsung S23 is the best Android phone I've ever used, and that includes recent offerings from OnePlus, Google, Motorola and LG.
Having used both phablet-style phones and smaller devices, I find myself gravitating toward the smaller S23. For me, it's just easier to grip, lighter and much easier to put in a pocket.
Usually you have to sacrifice something between either speed or battery life. I'm happy to say this phone is both super speedy and has fabulous battery life despite the smaller size of the battery compared to the phablets. I can easily get through a day of moderate to heavy use, up to two days if my usage is a bit lighter.
The screen is the best I've used on any phone, including the latest iPhone 15 Pro. It just has a pop to it with vibrant colors that don't feel overdone. Samsung's Android customizations are excellent and very helpful overall. Some complain about software bloat on Samsung phones, but this unlocked version doesn't seem to be loaded down.
I'm not a camera expert, but in casual use, I find the camera on the Samsung S23 to be right up there with the iPhone 15 Pro. They are both very high quality cameras. You won't be disappointed.

detailedReviews 6: content: I was genuinely blown away by this phone, switching from a now 7 year old OnePlus 5T. The difference is night and day. I don't envy Samsung for the seemingly impossible task of coming up with a successor to this model. How do you improve upon perfection? If you are contemplating on buying the S24: don't, just get the S23 instead. Much cheaper and "good enough".
If I have to nitpick, I don't like the fingerprint reader - it is on the screen, which means it is hard to find "blindly" - and also took me about 10 minutes of cursing to setup, until it accepted my finger. When using it you have to be precise and keep your finger on it for at least a second - as opposed to the OnePlus, which was on the back of the phone (easy to find), and worked like lightning.
I also really miss the hardware mute button, and of course the headphone jack, which I still don't understand why it was removed from all phones. I use wireless and wired headphones, depending on the situation - removing a small part that costs maybe 2 cents and has no downsides is just stupid.
Finally, for those asking whether the phone shipped by Digitec is the DE or the CH version, I have not yet registered to Samsung Pay (which would allow me to use my phone as a credit card), but WiFi calling is enabled and works with Wingo / Swisscom.

detailedReviews 7: content: The Galaxy S23 tries to thread the needles between a reasonable size, an affordable price, and a respectable experience. The Galaxy S23 finally nailed it.
Between the practicality of the Galaxy S23+ and the majesty of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, it’s hard for the Samsung Galaxy S23 to escape their shadows. But the Galaxy S23 fills a couple of important niches in the smartphone market.
Improved battery life helps the Samsung Galaxy S23 stand head and shoulders above its last three generations.
This year we get an excellently bright screen, plenty of power from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and the consistent, full-featured stability of One UI 5.1.
These features add up with the S23's compact size for one of the best small Android phones I've seen since the Galaxy S10e.
The main Pros of this phone I have experienceed are-
The battery lasts all day on regular use
Its small screen is finally as bright as its siblings .
One UI 5.1 brings new features and a drop-dead simple setup tool.
The flat-edged design is easy to grip
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 brings efficient power but can still go hard when you need it
This is the closest I have come to a proper compact flagship Android phone in years.
The performance and battery improvements here are worthwhile, If anyone have been holding onto their phone waiting for something that wouldn’t spill out of your pocket.

detailedReviews 8: content: This device is perfect for most people. I'm not really into huge phones so I got the smallest size - which was the Samsung S23. After having this phone for several months, I got some strong opinions
First, this device has really good camera quality for most people. There is often this superstition that android phones have bad camera quality, but for my daily use this is perfect. Sometimes the camera has a hard time focusing on objects up close, and may have a slight shutter lag when taking pictures, but these are concerns which only matter to photographers. The phone camera also comes with 8k 30fps, which isn't needed for most people, but it exists in case you need to know
Second, the fingerprint sensor is mid. I had a hard time with the fingerprint sensor (may have been because of my screen protector), but I found ways to overcome the difficulty. The first thing I did was re-register my fingerprint when the screen protector was on, and record several instances of my finger. The sensor, despite being ultrasonic, may take a while to recognize the fingerprint. It may also get some time before you get used to the sensor, as it may take a while the first couple of weeks.
Lastly, the display is AMAZING. Having upgraded from a 2 year device, I thought the display would only be a slight improvement. But no, it comes with 60-120hz display and I have seen almost zero lag when watching videos or playing games. (Btw this phone plays high performance games like genshin impact like a boss).
This is easily a phone which I would give a 10/10. After getting used to this device, the drawbacks don't really matter or become relevant.

detailedReviews 9: content: I have owned multiple Samsung Galaxy phones, and so far I love this one the most. The commercials don't do it justice - I expected good things and it surprised me going above and beyond!
To start, the camera is amazing. Before this phone I owned one from another brand and thought it was a good one, but snapping a picture with the s23 blew the competition out of the water. The colors are so crisp and the quality (even when zoomed) made my old phone look shabby in comparison. I love that I've gotten into photography because of this phone - and don't forget the amazing features like easy object removal, and turning pictures into stickers you can send to your friends with just a tiny bit of built-in photo editing. By far the best camera on a phone I've tried.
Next comes call and text quality. This phone has never dropped a call or had issues with texting. Calls are seamless and texts work perfectly. No complaints in that department, where I've had problems with other phones on the same carrier.
Finally is the customization. You can customize call backgrounds, a ton of customization on home and lock screens, and the ability to pick your ringtones and notification sounds from audio files on your phone. I love having my phone set up exactly how I want it and all of the features there are for you to change it to your style.

detailedReviews 10: content: I was very disappointed with my recent buying experience of the Samsung S23 on MyDeal.
1) The header description does not CLEARLY mark that the device is an international version, while quite a few online shopping sites will clearly mark International or global version.
2) The phone came in a box with no seal, there should be a clear round sticker to seal the box for a brand new phone. The box clearly has been opened before. When I raised this point, the retailer mainly said they guarantee the item is brand new and not all products they source directly from the factory are sealed.
3) When I asked about warranty, they said if there is problem with the device, it will need to be sent to QLD. They don’t have any store in Melbourne or in any other states. The website only says warranty from Xtreme.
All these information about Warranty and devices in a box without a seal are totally omitted in the description. On the other hand, MyDeal claim the marketplace provide customers with quality from trusted retailers which I’m very doubtful now.
I now hope the phone I got will be ok, but I strongly recommend not to use MyDeal marketplace, not trustworthy, information is omitted and not presented clearly.

detailedReviews 11: content: ⚠️ Be very careful with this seller. I received a Galaxy S23 (SM-S911B) that looked normal, but had serious issues: - The screen showed white flickering and horizontal lines. - The phone overheated during normal use. - Notifications from most apps didn’t work at all. It claimed to run One UI 7.0 / Android 15, but the device was very unstable. I provided a video, but the seller denied the problem and asked me to cancel the dispute to get a refund—do NOT do that. I refused to cancel and submitted my evidence to AliExpress. Only then was I refunded. Even if the phone looks real, it may have unofficial or modified software/hardware. This seller is not trustworthy. I recommend buying from a verified local store instead. Do not make the same mistake I did.

detailedReviews 12: content: I cracked the screen to my S21+ and had to replace it with an S23+. I might as well have kept my S21+ since it's functionally the same as this S23, I wouldn't mind the visibility loss with the crack since it at least functions. My wife was completely stranded at a grocery store for 20 minutes because my S23+ constantly bugs out and loses the ability to call/ recieve calls at random! I thought by now this would be fixed by an "update", but every update I receive just installs MULTIPLE unwanted games. I also can't listen to music on an aux cord for too long because it keeps cutting out completely, and I have to unplug/ plug back in the aux in order to get it to play music again, which I can't do while driving. Idk how much of this review is due to Verizon, you should check with them, but regardless I'm surprised there was a Galaxy S22 since this phone is completely identical to the S21. detailedReviews 15: content: The phone seems fine for most things.
The placment of the back camera is terrible! It is always covered in finger prints, needing to be cleaned every single time I want to take a picture or video it is literally placed where I hold my phone (vertical or horizontal).
The camera is almost useless. You can't take a photo or the scan feature without it automatically blurring the edges of anything up close. I take pictures of documents (scan them) all the time and without fail, the edges are blurry and many times unlegible. No matter how clean the camera lens is, no matter the settings chosen, no matter the distance (near or far) from the subject, or whether or not a tripod is used, the image always has at least one blurred area. This is also detrimental to my ability to use this phone to take photographs of my art close up or my paintings at a distance. I can't make prints off of a blurry photo! There is no solution online. It would be cool if could be turned off.
Also, the Bixby button is too far down on the side of the phone. My car mount for driving clamps down on the sides of the phone right on top of the Bixby button. This is the same phone mount I have had for years and used with other galaxy S phones without trouble. This phone has been a nightmare! I've had the original Galaxy S, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S8, and the Galaxy S10, and this Galaxy S23. This S23 is the only phone I have ever regretted and hate. The S10 was the best ever. Go back to the 10

detailedReviews 16: content: Bear with, I usually keep a phone for like five years if it lasts that long, and I'm a cheapskate so I don't get the newest flashiest. I had previously had Lg phones which were discontinued.
First, the positive. The camera is really great. It seems to operate quickly, too.
The annoying? I use talk to text a lot because of arthritis. It was never a problem with previous phone. This one seems to think I have a crazy accent because it makes up nonexistent words, and often will first type it out right then correct it with total gibberish just as I'm hitting send. The autocorrect in general does that as well. Also, it will copy what I just said and sent and try to send it a second time. I've had my kids try to adjust settings and can't seem to get it corrected. (Cue the "boomer" comments, I'm actually gen x but go on)
Another issue I've noted, it is often unresponsive to touch. I'll even rub my fingers together, in case my hands are cold but nope, it sometimes has to have app closed, turned off or whatever to get it to respond.
Overall, love the camera but doubt I'd buy it again. I was mostly going with name recognition this time.

The permission settings can not be modified so I just deleted Alexa on this phone and now the phone works great. Not sure of any other ways to keep the Alexa app without having issues with the volume***CHANGED RATING TO 5 STARS***
I wish I would have kept my S20+ (I may go back to it because I still have it). I should have carefully read the reviews. Like so many others have said - SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE VOLUME. It is way too low, like the person on the other end is whispering. I have the volume on max and I'm still struggling to hear people. Even the social media videos are playing super low. I keep waiting for an update, but I am running out of patience. I can barely hear anything on this phone (videos, regular calls, Zoom calls, ANYTHING involving sound).
Samsung needs to fix this asap. I don't care about the number of pixels per picture. First and foremost, it is a PHONE.
I am very disappointed. I have always had a Samsung, back when they had the S9! But I am seriously considering an iPhone because this should be an easy fix for Samsung and they will not address it. And yes, I already reached out to the manufacturer directly.

detailedReviews 19: content: Had to switch from my S21 to a S23 due to the S21 for some reason not being able to use the mobile antenna despite replacing it.
The S23 is better in performance and camera but oh man am I disappointed that they manage to charge upprices for phones that are barely a difference. Due to updates to older phones throttling performance for battery life it always makes you think you're getting a faster phone of course.
I can't believe who's idea at Samsung it was to just remove any and all dust accumulation protection. I had the phone for 2 weeks and there's already dust in the earpiece speaker and around the edges of the screen. It's honestly super super frustrating that something like this gets WORSE on a flagship phone. Not everyone lives in a sterile office space.
I can't commend the company for anything about the phone because it's simply not an upgrade in my book. A few mpx here, a feature there is not worth double the price of a S21 FE. And it took me way too long to realize what a scam the plus and ultra versions are for phones like these. At least the normal versions have stayed in the same price range for now.
I've been with Samsung phones my entire life but I am honestly rethinking if I wanna buy another one. Though who does it better? The whole industry is not pro-user anymore. It's pro-what-marketing-do-we-need-to-get-as-much-money-out-of-customers-as-we-can.
I've had people tell but "oh but the S23 is an immense upgrade over the S21". Stop getting scammed by fancy ad words and supposed faster performance.
Yes it may be faster than your S21 but not when comparing it to a brand new S21 when you got it. It's sad that everything is built to break instead of to last. My S7 Edge still works. Pretty sure even my S4mini still works. Yet I can't use my S21 with a SIM anymore. Wtf. Consumerism destroys this market with everyone wanting the best and the newest EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

detailedReviews 20: content: I've had this phone a day so I obviously haven't had it long enough to give a full, educated review of it. I'm writing this review because I will most likely be returning it.
First off, I'm coming from an iPhone SE and you could easily hide that phone inside this one. I knew it was big, but this might be too big.
Coming from iPhone where everything is intuitive, I am struggling to do even basic stuff on this phone like see the weather without having to just look it up in a browser. A lot of this stuff is to be expected and I don't knock off points for not knowing the UI. It just feels like it could be a little easier for new Android users to figure things out. The absence of a home button will take a lot of getting used to.
The fingerprint scanner works great. So great that I had my wife try to open my phone using her print, which it didn't work. It's just sometimes I can barely touch the scanner and it will open. I think this is great. I haven't set up face recognition as it's a feature I just can't see messing with.
I thought that it being an Android phone, using Google apps would be seamless. But I'm having to log into each Gmail account and re-log any time I log out, even though on the computer, I'm logged into all of my Google accounts and can switch between them easily. Same with YouTube. So far, this phone is acting like it's day one every time I want to switch to another account.
Battery life has been good so far. It had 50% when it arrived and it's down to 42% after almost 24 hours. But battery life on all new phones is miraculous, though. A year from now, it will struggle to make it 4 hours of heavy use without needed topped up. But topping up isn't something Samsung thought about as you don't even get a charger included. I won't be able to charge this phone until my I order or go buy a charger.
I didn't see this when I bought it, so I'm to blame for that ignorance, but when I read it was to cut down on e-waste, I knew that was a load of bull. It's the same reason my wife's Kia didn't come with a spare tire: everything is a-la-cart these days. My old device, packaging, charger and phone case are now waste, but you're concerned about ONLY the charger? I can't reuse my charger. Because Apple has to be a special snowflake and use lightning. Which they are doing away with I believe, so I would have had to buy a new charger even with Apple because everyone is moving to this new format of giving you most of the things you need, but not everything.
The phone is good I guess. It looks amazing. You set the resolution between 720, 1080, or 1440 to save on battery. It's snappy and fast. Calls are clear but I was on Wi-Fi at the time so who knows what it sounds like out in the wild. Plenty of customization options ofc. I like that it has a reboot option instead of power off only like the SE had. The problem is, unless I'm doing it wrong, the button combo to power it down, is the same as taking a screenshot. I've taken quite a few needless screenshots while trying to master the timing to get to the power down/reboot option to pop up. Supposedly you can take screenshots by waving your palm across the face, but even after enabling this feature (which is off by default and in your s-pen settings), I haven't been able to make it work even once.
I'd say this phone is powerful enough for desktop gaming and probably has a lot of content available for it, but this charger thing that everyone is moving to needs to be pushed back against.
Having customers buy a charger from a 3rd party doesn't cut down on waste, it just fattens their profit margin.

detailedReviews 21: content: I upgraded from a Galaxy S8. I held off for as long as I could. There are great things about this phone. I could grade this phone on a curve and give it 4 or 5 stars. But in truth, not having a headphone jack is inexcusable -- we all seemingly just accept it because most every other high-end phone (all?) with the promise of software updates for at least a few years is doing the same. Because of the lack of headphone jack, I had to fiddle with several USB-C to 3. 5mm dongles. The first resulted in audio cutting in after every half-second of silence. Unusable. I then purchased an Anker one that did the job. I should not have spent time on this -- the phone should be making my life simpler, not harder. Bluetooth headphones are fine, but they need to be charged from time to time, and the minimum volume I can get on my BT headphones still seem far too loud -- do better if you are making us use this standard! Now, when I use my USB-C to Audio dongle, it seems my phone is draining much faster than my previous phone, and the phone does not charge as quickly.
What I don't like about this phone:
(1) No headphone jack resulting in a bunch of BS, like having to search for a dongle that works, the phone not charging as quickly while listening to music, depleting battery more quickly.
(2) The placement of the volume rocker buttons and the power button is a more awkward design than the S8, making screenshots more difficult to take.
(3) The fingerprint sensor is okay -- but I miss the placement on the S8, where you got a better intuition (especially with a case) for where to put your finger. I'm aware the S8's fingerprint reader was heavily criticized at the time, but it was great placement.
(4) No more SD card slot. Which is why I had to go for the 256gb model. Great.
(5) I should be allowed to uninstall apps I don't want that come with the phone. This goes for both Google and Samsung apps.
What I like:
(1) Battery is vastly better than the S8. I love the battery maintenance mode that limits the charge to 85%.
(2) Extremely fast browsing and installing/updating apps.
(3) Good camera from what I can tell.
(4) Good promise of software and security updates, and Samsung now has a good track record on this.
(5) Great build quality as far as I can tell.
(6) Transfer from S8 to S23 was relatively straightforward using Samsung SmartSwitch. But you will have to do WhatsApp manually. iPhones do not have this issue.

detailedReviews 22: content: I bought this phone after having iPhones for 8 years in protest to Apple's overreliance to China. After 7 months with this S23 Ultra, here are my observations.
-Camera is simply awesome. It can do anything you need it to, anywhere and in any lighting.
-Battery life is great for such a big phone. One day of normal use leaves me with 40-50% battery when put on the charger at night.
-Screen clarity is very good.
-Will not sync with my Chevy truck. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem with the droid platform that I did not know about until using this phone.
-Bixby, the Samsung version of Siri, is very intrusive. Makes random calls to people in my contacts and will take over the screen sometimes when I'm using the phone. When I opted out of Bixby, I was told it would take a week to deactivate. Why? So Bixby can take it's time harvesting more of my information???
-Face recognition is so bad, I stopped using that feature.
-Speaker is pretty good.
I had high hopes for this phone, but it did not deliver. Not sure if I'll go back to an iPhone or try another droid.

detailedReviews 23: content: The most important feature in a smartphone for me is the camera. After I unfortunately had to switch from another brand with and amazing camera, my choice was this Samsung. And the camera has failed me BIG time. Somehow the design of 3 separate lenses are causing reflections in way too many of my pictures. And often I don't realise till I look at the pictures on my computer, and at that time it's too late to redo them.
One thing I like about this phone is the size. It's still big enough to be able to read properly on, but small enough that it fits much better in my hand, and I got rid of some wrist pains after switching phones.

detailedReviews 24: content: * i like the size and weight, I can operate with one hand.
* But I can't put a pop grip on the back for easier holding, as it covers the camera lens due to the position of them.
* Like the colour, it's easy to see where I've put it!
* It's very easy to set up.
* Memory capacity is good and just right for me, and it's very quick when using Internet.
* Camera is very good, even though there are less lens than my old phone
* Adaptive speakers are very good, and make calls easier.
* Battery life isn't as good as stated.
It needs charging often, already for a brand new phone.
* There is a lot of bloatware. Apps that can't be uninstalled and which are pretty useless for me.
Overall, I like it, but I'm glad I waited a year for price to reduce, as I think it's overpriced, for what you get.

detailedReviews 25: content: I bought this "Smartphone S23+" 14 months ago from T-Mobile and have been quite happy with it until yesterday when the phone just "playing" dead and won't recharge. I brought it to Samsung authorized service center to have them check the phone, test the battery and other potential issue. No sign of any physical damage to the phone. The verdict that it is likely due to defective motherboard. Now I'm stuck with this nice-looking phone but completely dead and worst still owed T-Mobile to pay for another 8-month worth of installments for a practically unusable phone. I've been using Samsung smartphone for decades and have never been so disappointed with this latest failure of S23+ product. Absolutely unacceptable. Samsung must stop manufacturing and selling such rubbish!!!

detailedReviews 26: content: My daughter bought me the S23 FE galaxy for my birthday in December. I have not liked this phone due to many of the previous phone capabilities I had that are not possible with this model. A few days ago, Samsung updated my UI on my phone and since that my phone quit working. I could not place or get text messages. I soon found out I was also not receiving phone calls, and then discovered I could not make any either. My carrier did some trouble shooting and I was able to test message and receive test message, but I still could not receive or make phone calls. I called my carriers IT department and was told to put on internet calling, which somehow allowed me to make calls but still not receive calls. I thought it may have been a glitch in the area my carrier needed to fix, but it wasn't. No one could understand why this phone was allowing me to call out but not receive calls in and they told me to factory reset the phone. I was hesitant but downloaded files and did as requested. No only did my phone not allow me to download files and restore but losing everything still did not fix whatever was preventing me from receiving calls. My daughter spent her money on this phone to do something nice for her mom. A twist of fate landed her homeless, which now now makes me feel like dirt because the money paid on this phone would have kept a roof over her head. No phone, No house, and no patience. I loved Samsung galaxy phones. They were all I have had for the last 10 years and now I am not so sure if I trust them.

detailedReviews 27: content: This review is for a Samsung Galaxy S23 dual SIM 256GB smartphone, unlocked, B-Grade, colour Phantom Black.
ADVANTAGES/GOOD
Fully supported for security patches. The product I received from CeX was in very good condition and is working fully with no problems. Camera with image stabilisation is very good. I saved so much money by buying a good used S23 in 2025.
DISADVANTAGES
No serious disadvantages. A general issue is that most new smartphones have only a USB-C socket for earphones and so the earphones are too easy to pull out accidentally. The old 3.5mm stereo/mic sockets had much better grip of the earphone/mic plug. However, I did find a pair of USB-C earphones with a nice tight fit when connecting to my Galaxy S23 smartphone USB-C socket, so everything has worked out fine for me.

detailedReviews 28: content: Performance:As expected of an S23
Genuine product. I got an LGU+ (a Korean telco as far as I can tell) S23. Works perfectly with CelcomDigi. 5G works well.
All functions of the phone are as expected (Wi-Fi, mobile network, wireless charging, nfc, etc..), nothing wrong at all as far as I can tell.
Battery still good as far as I can tell. On my usage (light whatsapp, navigation, Reddit use), charged to 100% yesterday starting 7am. Today it's 7am and I still got 47%. Power saving not on.
The phone was sold as "excellent" condition which is one less than their "like new". Supposedly there would be some blemishes. Again as far as I can see, the phone is in incredible condition. Can't see any scratches even when scrutinised. Front and back glass are in perfect condition too. I guess their standard is way higher than mine, cause I'd say this was like new. Btw, almost all Korean telco apps can be uninstalled. The one that couldn't can be disabled. Just in case someone else gets an LGU+ version. Though whenever you boot the phone, you'll still see a big LG logo, which is kinda funny on a Samsung.
I bought mine for Rm17xx, 256Gb storage option. Placed order on the 4th, got by the 6th (was told by shopee that I'd get it between the 8th to 12th, pleasantly surprised to get it by the 6th). I was told I could have gotten one for slightly cheaper on Facebook marketplace. But it was way easier and comfortable for me to buy through here.
Seller was quite late to answer my questions tho. Their answer only came after I already bought the product. Was only comfortable buying anyway cause when my friend noticed I was looking at the sellers page he immediately praised them and their products high quality. He got the "14P".

I was disappointed that the S23+ didn't cone with a stylus, but not enough to pay the additional cost for the S23 Ultra. So far, thrbohone has stand great. I haven't noticed much difference other than that. I'm using a VPN for the first time, so everything “feels” slow. I am still able to keep far too many apps open without major issues. Sound quality is good for the rare voice call. It has all the features you would expect on a Samsung S series phone. And wwhile the face recognition still rarely works for me, the fingerprint scanner seems to have improved noticeably...

detailedReviews 30: content: I love the galaxy more than any other device out there. I use this device for literally everything. Music, work, streaming, gaming, Excell, photography, cloud storage, smart things, etc. This device is amazing it has so many features that others do not have to make my life easier. For work, the gym, at home, car rides, long trips across the U.S, etc. I can use the Excell and Microsoft so make PowerPoints and time sheets as well as scheduling. The cloud storage also amazing just wish i can have more storage. I really enjoy the fact that i can make it mine with the personalization. Theres so many options and variations to make it yours. The camera quality is amazing my clients always ask me what phone do I have. Samsung music is the way to go absolutely one of my favorite besides smart things and being able to control the whole house with my phone is amazing especially when i lose the tv remote. The one bad thing about the device is the charging. From my s10, s21, s23. They all had charging issues to wheretheye don't want to charge even with the original charger. But I would still rather a galaxy than anything else on the market. Because of the way it handles and the durability is amazin, never had a broke galaxy due to dropping it or water damage. It can do everything a laptop or pc can do for everyday life. I've had the galaxy since the s1, and I will always be a fan of it. I don't know what I would do if they were discontinued.

detailedReviews 31: content: I've been a loyal Samsung owner since my first phone the S5, and haven't found a reason to look elsewhere. This was a solid upgrade from my S10e in terms of much faster processing power, better battery life and some nice new features.
The most useful feature to me so far is the Modes and Routines. With the old phones I found it so frustrating having to set my volume down every night and up again every morning, then down again for work, etc., and wasn't prepared to pay the exorbitant price of a 3rd party app such as Tasker. Now my phone sets the volumes on a schedule, and based on my location.
The security features are great too, it's such a convenience to just look at my phone and have it unlock, while knowing it's safely locked if I lose it. I experience a minor inconvenience at times when it doesn't recognize my face without my glasses on, even though that's how the pictures were taken. The fingerprint is a good backup option during those times but again have slight trouble while using a tempered glass screen protector. We're encouraged to use them especially if we ever want to trade the device back in the future, yet the accuracy of the fingerprint goes down to about 50%. I think I might've preferred the side panel sensor of the S10e.
Overall for my daily but frequent light use of this phone, the security features and routines, and the amazing processing power and visual display, I give it a solid 4.

detailedReviews 32: content: All my life I've always just settled for the cheapest phones or when getting on a new plan I went straight for the free phones only, no further because 99% of thr time I just couldn't afford it or I would refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on something I most likely would've destroyed in less then A month. I was absolutely horrible with phones. So bad that 2022 I went through 2 phones per month (no exaggeration). I finally gave up on cell phones period for about 5 months until I came across this beautiful, amazing Samsung Galaxy S23+. I have always imagined having a super nice, kinda spendy cell phone.
When I purchased this phone and the gentleman pulled it out of it's box to show it to me and when he reached to hand it to me I stopped him immediately. I told him, "No way am I risking touching that beauty let alone picking it up without putting a case on it first. For the safety of the phone and of course my emotions and sanity. At first he was pointing out cheap, unreliable cases when again I stopped him and told him, "You see how freaked out I am about touching my phone or even picking it up, and you show me unreliable, cheap cases? I want that phone protected from all! (LOL) I'm willing to spend a good amount for something that is absolutely "Me" proof." I finally find the perfect case and off I go with my new phone. Here I am 7mos. later and able to truthfully say, this S23+ is the best phone I've ever purchased and I'm now a Samsung Brand Lifetime fan 100% forever!

detailedReviews 33: content: I got this phone on sale, $200 off, 256gb version. Samsung doesnt offer a 128gb version on the ultra, which is bogus in my opinion. Amazon prime offered same day shipping, which was nice. Phone arrived intact and fine. No problems with shipping.
The build quality of the S23 Ultra is very solid and feels good in the hands. The matte finish on the back is very nice and smooth, leaves no fingerprints. The screen feels really good and smooth. The s pen is nice to have, but I find that I dont use it that much. Its nice when taking photos you can set up the phone and press the s pen button to take the photo when youre ready. Speaking of the camera, the photos are excellent quality. This phone is equipped with a 200mp camera, which takes some very detailed and clear photos. I would say this phone has the best camera compared to every other phone. This phone is equipped with a 5000 mah battery, which lasts the whole day. The fingerprint sensor works 98% of the time, when my hand is very dry it doesnt work as well. I havent tested facial recognition yet so I cant speak on that. The screen is 120 hz, and looks and feels very smooth.
The android skin this phone uses, OneUI, is one of the better android skins on the market. The customization of this phone is way better than IOS in my opinion, you can do so much more. One thing I dislike about the os is that after every time i swipe up to exit an app, the samsung quick access wallet app pops up in place of the spot where I use to swipe to exit apps. I find this very annoying and I'm not sure where to disable it. One other thing I dislike is this phone requires you to have two different accounts with Google and Samsung, whereas with iPhone, all you need is an icloud account.
Screen protectors are hard to put on this phone because of the curved edges, so be mindful of that.
Overall, this is a VERY solid flagship device, if youre in the market for a new cell phone, this is the phone to buy.

detailedReviews 34: content: I'm an apple user 100%, an as Apple user I rate this s23: 5*. For its price and quality. Its my 2nd android phone, last being Samsung note 3, and this phone is really good in all aspects. I haven't dealt any issue with it like running apps or any crashes. Everything runs smoothly and camera quality is excellent, even better than Apple phones.
It was really a nice change from the apple series and getting this android was a test to compare my apple phone. They are different but android provides more features than iphone does in my opinion. However the only thing the face recognition is not that great on the samsung, compared to phones that's quick. However I do like the fingerprint, and miss that feature on iphones.
For apple users, I say this is a pretty good phone. But like me who has apple watch, ipad pro, laptop, air pods, etc~ I say if you have all those, stick with apple phones since their compatible with one another. But if you don't have all those and you want to change up, go for s23.
Lastly, go for s23 then s24, if you're unsure as an apple user, s23 is still good and cheaper. There isn't much difference between them other than design and their Ai features, that s23 ( and other phone that are compatible too for the update) will get later on.
Ps I'm only saying this to Apple users who want to change from apple to android^

detailedReviews 35: content: I only buy Galaxy S series phones. I started with the S2 and I've upgraded to the newer version every other year. I would never choose any other phone. This newest Galaxy, the S23 is the best yet. I cannot find anything to complain about. The picture is superb, the sound is amazing, my calls are so clear that I feel like I am talking to a person right next to me in the room no matter how far away the caller actually is from me even if they have a phone that is extremely inferior to my own. Everything is fast, fast, fast. There is plenty of space to download all my favorite apps, music, films, books, games, and more. The cameras take realistic and beautiful photos and I can edit the photos with so many different choices of features and filters that even a talentless hack like me can take and make professional looking pictures and videos as well. The battery last forever even when I am using bluetooth earbuds or a speaker that can quickly drain other phones batteries in a flash. The phone looks beautiful, the screen size is perfect. What else can I say? I love this phone and cannot imagine having to live without it. I do absolutely everything on this phone and absolutely everything I do is done absolutely perfect by this phone. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

detailedReviews 36: content: Okay okay so you know what you're buying this phone for: the camera. Or perhaps lots of other reasons too, but hot dang, the camera though. I'd say as a professional DSLR photographer that this is as close as it gets to having pro capabilities on a phone, but that it's still not quite there yet. On a DSLR you've got quite a big dynamic range of light and dark and color and everything in between that gets snapped with a photo, whereas on this phone it's probably cut in half. . . but it's still the best dang thing we've got in the form of a phone. I find myself actually snapping more phone pics than Nikon DSLR pics these days honestly, since I bought this thing.
Otherwise? Processing power is bar-none speedy as. Far better than the iPhones I've been toting everywhere for years. Interface is easy to figure out, even if you're indoctrinated to the Apple world. Storage space is big (on the 512GB), and I back up on MS OneDrive, so it's no biggie anyway. Lots of apps to choose from since Android is kinda like how Windows is to OSX in terms of what's available to you. Screen is a monster which is awesome for visibility and workability, but is still just fine in a standard pocket and doesn't feel cumbersome. Wi-fi adapter is snappy. S-Pen is super cool! Audio is bomber.
I suppose my only complaints are:
(1) that the 'adaptive brightness' mode is obnoxious in that it does work well to alter screen brightness per lighting situation but it sucks that the brightest the phone can get is only available in that particular mode. . . so if you're in changing lighting situations and you're annoyed that it won't just be bright all the time, deal with it. This is the pits with certain photography situations when under shadowfall.
(2) The phone wants to automatically send text messages via RCS or whatever which is wi-fi only and so sometimes if you or the recipient is not on wi-fi at the moment the text fails to send. Sometimes you have no idea when this has happened until later when you see a note that 'message has failed to send. ' Ugh. You can however set options in text threads to 'SMS only' which is via 4G only.
(3) This isn't really an issue with the product so much as an issue with current tech, but a sort of 'buyer beware' notice: the aperture on these phone cameras is so shallow that it compares like a candle to the sun in terms of all around image focus per phone to DSLR quality. I will say I am tremendously impressed with how far phone cameras have come, but that it is still wounding that phones can't overcome this obstacle.
Anyway, buy this thing. You will NOT regret buying this thing. That is all.

detailedReviews 38: content: The only reason I decided to replace my S8 was that the battery couldn't make it through a day even after having been replaced. I picked this phone because it has a small form factor similar to the S8 and can do induction charging unlike the A series. I did a direct comparison of battery usage between my S8 and the s23, and after being used equally for many hours, the S8 was down to 23% and the S23 was at 63%. One nice feature of this phone is that you can set an upper limit for charging, which supposedly protects the battery. Mine is currently set to stop charging at 85%.
My biggest complaint about switching to this phone is the limitations for transferring apps. First of all, the transfer process takes a very, very long time, and none of the login information or passwords transfers, so you have to log into each app and, in some cases, go through a few additional steps. In this regard, I have to admit that Apple is the best company out there: you can transfer from one phone to another and immediately have the new phone do everything the old phone did without any glitches.
I would also say that the phone is too expensive. It would be a bargain at half the price. Again, the only reason I bought it was that my S8 couldn't make it through the day anymore. Otherwise, I don't think the features of this phone are in any way superior.

detailedReviews 39: content: Start to finish, this is an absolutely incredible phone. Previously having owned the S22 Ultra, which was also spectacular, I couldn't be more pleased with this model.
If you've never had an ultra model, you need to grab this.
If you're coming from another ultra, the upgrades are noticeable, but not revolutionary. While the front camera technically dropped MP from the 22, the actual sensor and software prove it to actually outperform it.
You really can feel the power behind the device when switching between various memory intensive apps. It stays quick and snappy, never taking a moment to breathe or needing to catch up.
I personally go into dev options and turn up the animation speeds. I also grabbed the nova launcher to really take advantage of just how much real estate you have on this screen size, but the stock launcher is definitely past acceptable!
The S pen is used every single day for so many different little things, the least of which is drawing.
I could go on about how much I'm in love with this thing, but that doesn't really impress upon you just how good it really is. Grab it and you won't regret it. . . AND GET A FREAKING CASE AND SCREEN PROTECTOR.

detailedReviews 41: content: I work in I. T. support and see too many issues with Apple products. I have had Samsung phones since around 2014. I have an S5, an S7 and S9. The S5 & S7 are retired now but still work. The S9 is still active on another line. All these have had "normal" lives, dropped now and then, survived spills and weather. It only made sense to move to the S23 series and I got this Ultra model mainly for the large screen to help with my old shaky hands. I used the Smart Switch app to move files from the S9 to this phone and it saved a ton of time. There are many manual things that need to be done to complete the switch but this worked well. This phone is awesome. The cameras are better than most of my stand alone digital cameras. The phone itself has great clarity and the cell and WiFi connections are very stable. 5G speeds are awesome but I normally don't play games or watch much video with this phone. All but a couple apps still work that transferred from the S9. A feature that I miss is the standard audio jack for headphones. Battery life on this phone is better than the S9, the wireless charging stations I already have work great and the display size is a major improvement for me and my clumsy hands. I highly recommend this phone.

detailedReviews 42: content: So I bought two samsung galaxy s23 phones, one for both my mom and I. My phone works great, but unfortunately hers does not. It glitches, freezes, and needs to be replaced for her. I have gone to a few different locations to try and have it replaced, but the folks at Verizon say there is nothing wrong with it. Well, my mother uses it daily and she would be the one to know. Ideally it would be nice to get her a replacement so she doesn't have to deal with the glitches. She's 61, and already has a hard time managing a phone, but one with glitches makes things a lot worse. I would rather pay the monthly bill on something that works than something that doesn't. If Verizon expects people to pay $$$ for these phones, than they should replace one that has defects.

detailedReviews 43: content: From going from a long time Apple user to samsung, I can tell the difference with the different products. The cameras are different as I see the samsung to be more crisper and brighter than the Iphone which can at times look unnatural when taking photos. The display on the samsung is a little more smooth as well. I also like having the extra storage on this phone and not have to worry about icloud yelling at me to buy more storage. I also have some constructive criticism as well about the phone. The one thing I am not a huge fan of is going through extra steps to adjust the brightness level on my phone as well as silencing the phone as well. With the Iphone there is a button on the side to silence the phone which I do miss having. With adjusting the brightness I find that I have to take unnecessary extra steps in adjusting the brightness when it could be accessed with just a swipe. Another thing that I miss having is airdrop and being able to facetime. If samsung was able to make something like airdrop and be able to connect it to any device whether that be to apple products and etc. would be a game changer. Overall I think it is a great phone and so far I love it.

detailedReviews 44: content: To start with I need to qualify that I purchased this phone as an upgrade to my venerable S8. The S8 got me through many years and always functioned well at its core; that is that it could always make and relieve calls.
But today we expect much more of our devices. We want them to be replacements for our televisions and our computers. We desire to run the latest apps and still have battery left at the end of the day. We want an end to our often fruitless search for a place to grab a couple more minutes of battery fuel.
Now steps in the S23. Compared to the S8 it is a vast improvement on many scales. Not only has the speed and computing power increased dramatically, but it does it all while keeping your battery pumping away all day. The only time I have seen the battery drop faster than that was when I play a resource heavy game, and even then it is much longer than one would expect.
Speaking of heavy processing, I have rarely ever felt the phone get hot, and never to the point of overheat warnings and baking the case off the phone. There has been no noticeable hangups either. Even when multitasking with pinned windows full of games and videos.
The phone has taken a drop or two, but it has lived in the case since day one. There doesn't seem to be any notice damage there.
Oh, and finally the camera. It really does take quite stunning pictures. The night mode is bright and clear also. Almost eliminating the need for a flash.
Simply put, perfection in phone form.

detailedReviews 45: content: I try to hold onto my phone a little longer nowadays to get more value out of it. However, I think they program them to start crapping out after a certain amount of time which is why I traded in my s10e with Verizon and got the s23.
The s23 has such a beautiful screen that people who have seen it have commented on how nice it looks, and I haven't even had it for a month!! I even have a screen protector on it and it is still gorgeous. That has never happened with any of my old phones and they have all been Samsung. The phone functions perfectly and so far I haven't come across any little glitches that would usually drive me crazy. The s10e used to open up apps by itself even on a locked screen and it did that right out of the box and never stopped. There were a few times it even made calls on it's own! It also started giving me the symbol for no sim card just like my s7 did. So it always seems like something, but so far so good. I will know more down the road. It also has great reception with the 5g which I really did not want. I travel to upstate NY and there is a spot where everyone in the car loses the signal for navigation. That didn't happen to me when I was using s23 the first week I got it. Phone calls sound nice and clear. Videos play nicely and the volume can be made pretty loud. Games work great. And I stream TV quite often and have had no issues at all. Overall, a really great phone. I will have to see what it does in two years. For right now I am VERY happy with the s23.
The one thing I really do not like is that they switched the power button to the bottom on the right, volume button above it, which is opposite all of their other phones and tablets that I have or had. The power button is also lower than it has ever been and now it interferes with my defender style phone case because you can only put it in the holster one way. It's just annoying not a deal breaker.

detailedReviews 46: content: I finally broke down and got a Samsung. For many many years my phone brand has always been LG. I have always found LG phones to be the best value for money. They pioneered features way before other brands; like tap to wake. They performed just as well as iPhone and Samsung but for much less money. But unfortunately LG left the smartphone market a couple of years ago and my LG V60 was finally showing it's age. I was finally forced to get something that wasn't LG for the first time in almost 2 decades. I was set and ready to get the one plus 11 and I had even purchased it and everything. The next day I discovered it had no water resistance rating nor wireless charging. One by itself wouldn't have been a deal breaker but lacking both features in tandem are unfortunately. Once I realized that, I cancelled my order for the One Plus. Normally I wouldn't consider Samsung, as they are just as expensive as Apple, but I did come across some really good deals on Prime day. I had considered the the 23 Ultra but was concerned about the overall size and I wouldn't use the stylus; so for me the price premium wasn't worth it. So I went for the 512GB 23+. I use my phone a lot during the day so I wanted a phone with plenty of storage and processing power. So far it's been working great; very speedy, feature rich, user friendly, and responsive. My cell reception seems to be better and it connects to all my devices well. My one gripe is the face recognition and fingerprint reader usually don't work the first time, which is annoying. I wish they would use a dedicated sensor and not an in-screen reader. Other than that the phone is a good choice and a good value considering I got a pretty good deal on it. So far, Samsung seems to be a good alternative to LG.

detailedReviews 47: content: The Samsung Galaxy S3 was my very first phone. I loved it so much because of the customization features and the overall running speed.
When my S3 finally started giving up on me, after nearly 7 years, I wasn't too thrilled. But I was super excited to see that the features that I loved so much were still there in the new S23!
One of the features that I wasn't too fond of in the S3 was when you took a screenshot, the side task bar was always in the picture. So when I took my first screenshot on my S23, I was very impressed that they fixed it! Now I can take screenshots without the task bar showing!
The size of the phone was always a plus for me as well. My S3 was the perfect size in my hands where I could hold and swipe from one side of the phone to the other with one hand. Newer phones now a days are so big and bulky. My S23 is the exact same size as it's predecessor and it's a better shape than before as well! The screen was a little too rounded before, but now it's nice and flat which helps limit the possibility of a cracked screen.
My only criticism would be that my phone still gets hot when it's charging. My S3 had the same problem, but a little more often. I try not to use it while it's charging, but it still gets pretty warm. It's not too concerning, but it's surprising that it still does that.
Overall, I love my S23! It's perfect for me! ^^

detailedReviews 48: content: I bought my S23 128gb in June 2023 to replace my S20fe which I lost in Nepal. I've loved the S23. It's fast. It has every feature I would ever need, the camera is great, the security features are excellent, and the toughness of this phone is incredible. During a visit to my fitness club 2-3 weeks ago, I lost my phone. I searched everywhere in the car, around the gym and even in the parking lot. I went home and searched for the phone using my "Find My Device" app. It showed the S23 still had a good GPS signal and it was within 100 yards or so behind my fitness club. The next morning I did a precise GPS search and still found a good signal pinpointed to just behind my club and just off a 5-lane road. I finally spotted a black lump in the middle of the road. I darted (I'm 73, so maybe I ambled ) out to get it and it indeed was my phone. It looked like it had been run over by 2 or 3 tanks (note photos). I just knew it wass dead but it still would ring and had GPS so I thought I'd take a bad gamble that my local repair shop could resuscitate it. I just knew I'd be wasting my $75 diagnostic fee. Much to my surprise they put a new touch screen on it and I now have my incredibly strong S23 back in my pocket running perfectly and enabling me once again to ignore all those spam calls and to check my texts every two or three days. An old Marine with a battle-tested S23. My 5th Samsung phone and I'll never buy anything but Samsung.

detailedReviews 49: content: I always had android phones that I can remember. My first phone was a Blackberry, then my 2nd one was an HTC. I had issues woth those 2 brands, constantly glitching and having my privacy in jeopardy. My mom bought me my first ever Samsung phone, an S7 active and I loved it. I loved how simple it was and how easy it protected my privacy. I graduated high school with that phone! When I started to make my own money, I bought myself an S21 when they first came out. That phone was my life! Made everything easy when organizing and never had issues with the battery. I would have stayed with the S21... if it wasn't for the fact that the S23 came out and the plus was calling for me! I traded my S21 for the S23 plus and it was the best decision I made in my life! Now only did it remind me of S7 active by how sturdy the phone itself was, but with the camera being way better than the S21! The processor and RAM were just what I needed! Samsung is truly a nostalgic brand for me! Even though I had my first Samsung phone at 18, it reminds me of the good old days of me being rough with everything! Without the my current phone in the case, I could chuck it to a wall with my pitcher hand and the only crack would be the screen protector! I have completed the Galaxy ecosystem by getting the new Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Watch6, and Tab S9FE! It's fun for me to even demo my devices to customers when I'm working on closing a Samsung sale! I love the brand and so does my family! I will never leave Samsung!

I was apple user before and was decently satisfied but after using s23 plus I can say with confidence I don't really want to go back. I am very satisfied. Very powerful hardware and optimized software makes this phone an absolute pleasure to use. It handles everything I need from the phone with ease and fast too! I am also multitasking on my phone all the time and so far device did not disappoint. All heavy apps run good on this phone and updates are frequent which is great. Tons of customization options and apps that can help with that. You don't have to pay for everything like on iPhones. Would recommend totally if you are in doubt. detailedReviews 51: content: I gave four stars because of the absolutely frustrating texting on this phone.
All other feature are GREAT!
The voice to text just simply bad bad bad! It capitalizes words that don't need to be capped, adds extra space after words, uses incorrect words and then highlights them to let you know they are incorrect.
It will add periods after words that are supposed to be sentences where there should be no period.
When you say "period" "comma" exclamation" or question mark" at the end of the sentence it spells out "period" "comma" exclamation" or question mark" instead of just putting the correct punctuation mark.
It will stick words in there that make no sense whatsoever and highlight them as if to know they make no sense.
I'd love to know how to actually get ahold of Samsung to let them know all of this.
It is a great phone except for the texting which can be maddeningly frustrating even when you tap type to text.

detailedReviews 52: content: I needed to replace my old phone due to the 2/3g switch off in the UK. As my old phone was also samsung I stayed with this brand. I wanted a relatively new phone (released within the last 2 years) and also a smaller type. This S23 is slightly smaller than many new phones. So far it works well though Ive only started using its features. The battery seems to be good, lasting on a single charge for a few days, though this was minimal use. The phone itself is metal not plastic and Ive found it rather slippery, so Id recommend buying a case for it.

detailedReviews 53: content: When I made this purchase I was in limbo on whether or not it was worth the cost. When I finally decided to make the purchase I wanted to get the ultra, however my friend reminded me that I'm not a lucky person when it comes to phone, as I'm always losing my phones or dropping them and damaging the screens. So I purchase the S23 instead. Can't say I regretted it. I have been using this phone since September and I have no issue with it. Battery last me up to two days ,when I'm not actively using the Bluetooth functions. Picture quality is awesome. The size fits right inside my purses and the features are great. If you're looking for something that has 99% of the features of the ultra at an economical price then this is the phone for you. And if you're like me that love gadgets but won't use more than 60% of the features on them then this is definitely the phone for you. And if you're someone that will utilize all the features on your phone this is still the phone for you. If you're a content creator and looking for a good phone to use, you can't go wrong with this one. Compare with a 14pro I would choose the S23 over and over.

The phone itself is of the same quality as a new one, well mabe a little scuff here and there on the exterior. A case will cover that up. The guts inside is as good as a new one after being checked out by Samsung technicians. This is the second time purchasing one direct from Samsung.

The camera take amazing pictures and I've had a blast messing around with the settings and taking lots of selfies and picture of my surrounding areas. Gaming has also been fun with great sound and wonderful visuals. Syncing with my s7 tablet has also been fun and versatile with writing notes and sharing pictures that I'd like to see on bigger screen. Last but not least samsung pay had been the craziest feature I've used and enjoyed. detailedReviews 56: content: Purchased this phone approximately ~1 month ago - I've had zero issues, all as expected. Fast processing, beautiful screen clarity, the battery lasts ages (and I have a terrible social media habit), it charges reeeal quick, and the camera takes amazing photos. This is a significant upgrade from my previous device (Huawei P90), but as a new Samsung user, I can't speak to how the Galaxy 23 performs (maybe just google the TechRadar report?).
Physically, note this colour ("lavender") is more on the pink side. The three camera lens protrude a fair amount (compared to my last couple of device at least) - but most phone cases should protect them. There are plenty of phone cases available for this series. Annoyingly, you need to buy a wall charger separately (only cable provided).
TLDR: I have really enjoyed this pink phone so far, but google the specs yourself. I'm still annoyed that I had to buy a wall charger separately.

detailedReviews 57: content: One of the reasons I purchased this was for the 200mp camera. Although zooming in ultra close on a picture still has some jpeg compression artifacts, the overall image quality is great. It also has a raw mode which allows storage of picture files without compression.
The other visual features are also impressive, video mode allows you to shoot in a variety of resolutions and frame rates, including up to 8k.
Sound quality is impressive for a panel phone, and when watching videos with stereo audio information, the sound is actually reproduced by two speakers, one at the bottom, and the earpiece speaker, which adds more engagement when watching music or other videos.
The phone sound quality is great, and is significantly better than most of the other phones I have used in the past.
I have had a few minor issues with the face recognition, although if I add more variations (with sunglasses, or hats, etc. ) I will probably have fewer issues. The display embedded fingerprint scanner is taking a little getting used to, but maybe re-registering the finger prints may help reduce those issues. The fact that fi get print scanning is possible on the display screen (as opposed to a dedicated scanner on the ba k or side of the phone) is another interesting feature, and is raki g me a little bit to get used to.
I have only had older, reconditioned or renewed phones in the past, and have always been at least two to three years behind the latest technology when purchasing a new phone. My last phone was at least 5 to 6 years since it was released. This is my first brand new, flagship phone, and although a bit pricey (for being an early adopter) I am pleased with the overall performance and features of the device. I am still learning about it, and finding new, neat little features that are not always a big selling point, but add to the 'wow' factor.
I am very pleased with this device, and have protected it with an OtterBox defender case and a gel type screen protector, and in the month I have had it, I have enjoyed every aspect of it.

detailedReviews 58: content: I will dislose upfront that I am likely an android fanboy, whose never had an iphone. However, I did seriously consider switching right before getting this S23 Ultra. Heres why I ultimattely went with Samsung this time.
I have stuck with android, and used many over the years. Droid Razr, Nexus6P, Pixel2, Xperia I 3. I am familiar with and like the useability of android. Just how it is.
MAIN USE: It was important to me I get a phone that can meet my goals of retaining media. I was able to move all my music files and photos collections rather easily to the S23. About 2400 songs, and favorite pics and videos from all my phones. It would have likely been a nightmare if I switched to iphone. Something about needing itunes or whatever, on a PC. No thanks. And i use a 3rd party music app and bam, phone is my main music collection.
In my research, and knowing full well, Samsung is the android leader that Pixel wants to be. I have no illwill toward them, just acknowledging Google desperately trying to catch up. Samsung has the specs, the hardware, and top camera above all. They have the brand too stand behind as well.
CAMERA: I love how great the camera works. It really shines when outdoors is good lighting. Videos come out crystal clear. I know some of my iphone friends may have taken a doubletake at the quality when seeing for themseelves. Has slowmo, superslow mo, wide angle, zoom, you name it. SHots still come out great even zoomed. Not blurry like my previous phones with a zoom lens.
BATTERY: S23 is fast charging when using the right cable and plugin charger, otherwise slow trickles if using a "slow" one. Battery seems to last me 2 days, but I do not use my phone 24/7 on super brightness. It would last longer if I didnt use it at all during work, but I tend to play music so of course.
SCREEN: Its a nice big display alright. Not 100% sure, but i think bigger than newest big ihpone? Nice and bright and clear. Phone is fast, and works well.
THE BAD: Here re my legit criticisms of this phone. NO headphone jack. I know its old tech, but having nice wired phones be relegated to pc use is meh. No SD card slot. As media focused as I am, I hate that sd card slots have been phased out. BRING THE SD CARD SLOT BACK.
OVERALL: This S23 Is a great phone. Despite the industry ditching sd cards and headphone jacks. IMO, likely the best android brand today. Pixel would likely be the close 2nd place. This S23 is frequently on sale due to the next Galaxies coming out, and is ultimately still cheaper than comparable iphone equivalents. If you want top of the line, its this.

detailedReviews 59: content: Samsung is a make I have continued to use since I first started using a mobile phone. The Samsung Galaxy S23 5g is so easy to use and with the tips I'm learning new things abouy this mobile everyday. The charging speed is awesome. The battery life has improved as I use it for everything throughout the day/ night and I'm charging it every 36 hours which means I don't have to find anywhere to charge it while I'm out.
I purchased it just over a month ago and although it is new it has exceeded my expectations. I struggled with my A71 to get photos of the night sky and was so impressed with the S23. The moon and stars were so clear, without distortion, no halo and every star was picked up. Also, taking photos of my dog in dim light is amazing too, every detail of her fur comes out clear.
I purchased the 128gb which even after downloading everything from my A71 has not made a dent.
So yeah, I would highly recommend this make and model.

detailedReviews 60: content: I use my phone for many applications like watching content or producing content. It is an upgrade from my S10e certainly in a gaming aspect but it lacks content which embrace its power in gaming and feels wasted using apps designed for weaker phones. It although runs nice and has a nice camera. The screen looks nice and the battery life although very similar to my S10e after the many years I have had it dosen't require as much power savings measures such as power savings mode or a very dim screen. The design is fine although I did like having a headphone jack which I can use as a back up if my wireless headset dies. The camera is although not very greatly placed it overlaps my hand and even with a case feels a little awkward. Altogether it is a very nice phone but it fails to provide modern cutting edge features for gaming and video production, and has certain design issues that are not ideal. The phone is although powerful and functional including a nice screen and decent battery life.

Even though it was using wifi for all my apps just fine I often wasn't getting calls or texts. And when I would go back to a good cell signal it wouldn't automatically connect again unless I restarted the phone. I found myself doing restarts one or two times a day to get network and if I didn't I would miss calls or texts from people who said they couldn't get a hold of me. I remembered this happening once before when my job gave me a mid grade A50 and it was so bad I had to return it and ask for another S series. So lesson for me is just get a flagship. . . even if it's an older generation it's still going to work and age better than a mid grade. That said, I really like the S23+. I doesn't lose network, works flawlessly, is a perfect size and is easy to set up. Hopefully it ages as well as my S10 did. I could probably still be using that if I had it. I do miss having SD card options but there is enough memory to house my entire music collection without making a huge dent in the memory and higher end phones are discontinuing SD cards for a reason. I got this phone 20% of retail so if you wait you can save some money. I wish I never spent on the motorola in the first place. Budget phones might be fine if you live in a good area with great reception, but for me the two I've tried were nothing but a waste and a pain. This 23+ however, is a great phone.

detailedReviews 63: content: This has been by far my favorite galaxy to date. Let me begin by saying just because this is the cheapest s23 it does not shy away from anything premium. Every year Samsung displays are phenomenal. I've always been impressed with the display not ha ing much battery drain. Speaking of battery this phone can easily make it through the full day for me. I'm a heavy user and have never been concerned I wouldn't make it to bed with no battery. The power of this phone feels equal to the most premium big brother the s23 plus. Honestly there's nothing I don't like. The size fits perfectly in one and pocket and because of Samsung UI easy one hand use is my day to day on this. The camera takes beautiful photos with very little effort to capture what you see. The fingerprint sensor is so fast I normally forget it's there, 0lus with the added face unlock most times I pull my phone out it's unlocked and ready to go.

detailedReviews 64: content: I'm still in the early stages of getting to know my new phone after upgrading recently from an ancient Galaxy S7 which simply died of old age. Quite a lot is different with the S23 but first impressions are mostly very favourable: it charges quickly; battery life is much improved; there's a superb camera; making and receiving calls is easy, ditto emails and texts. My one main gripe is that the Android system will no longer play WMA files which means that all the music held on my old phone will no longer play, so I have the laborious and time-consuming job of converting all my albums to MP3. It's fortunate that I usually use other devices for playing my music ...............! I was also rather surprised to find that the phone was supplied without a charger. This is the first rechargeable product of any kind I have ever bought which has no charger - and the charger for my old phone is not compatible, so I have had to go out and buy a suitable charger. Not what I would have expected after spending the best part of 1,000 on the new phone!

detailedReviews 65: content: I upgraded from my Samsung galaxy FE to Samsung 23. I'm not going to lie I love my Samsung galaxy FE but I couldn't resist the new Samsung galaxy 23 when it launched. I love that the Samsung 23 is a smaller phone it gives me a better grasp of the phone and easier to text. Even with a smaller screen I able to stream, read, text with no problem. The screen visibility it clear.
Taking pictures and videos is a better experience for me because the picture and video quality is better overall than my previous phone. Let's not get it twisted galaxy phones have one one best quality of pictures and videos. So, you will not be disappointed. Clearer and more vibrant pictures, editing picture/ video options, and new features.
Navigating through new functionality is a work in progress I'm still learning new things every day.
Battery life is pretty good!!!
Music is crisp and volume is loud enough to have a party...lol!!! Phone is compatible with Earbuds that not Samsung brand which is a huge plus!!! I have no complaints thus far.

detailedReviews 66: content: Previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that I've had since it came to market. It started having issues and I was actually still looking into the note versions as I love the s-pen. Learned about the s23 ultra and watched many YouTube videos before purchasing. I opted for lavender and the color is gorgeous. I opted for flexpay which made this expense doable. I got used to the expansive size really quickly.
Cons
I absolutely hate not having a standard headphone jack. Using a dongle socks big time and Bluetooth devices takes planning.
My old note volume buttons were on the left and were convenient for thumb navigation. These buttons being on the right are awkward.
The pen is now also on the left and is awkward as well
Pros
Removed xfinity Sim from the note 8 and put it in the new s23 ultra was a simple maneuver.
Battery life is amazing. A charge lasts till I go to bed and charge takes about 1. 40.
The display is very vibrant with lots of customizations.
Audio sound is rich, loud and stereo like
There's a lot to learn and even having it for 4 months now there's a lot to learn still. YouTube helps with that.
I'm glad to say that I do not regret this purchase.

The camera on this phone takes awesome crisp photos with professional quality that I absolutely LOVE! Videos are clear, crisp, and professional as well.
I love the color palette option to personalize colors for icons etc based on the wallpaper you choose for your background which is one of my favorite features. 😍
Samsung Galaxy S23+ is a very impressive phone that is well worth the money! So many other perks and features that make this an awesome quality flagship phone.
Did I mention how much I love the long lasting battery life on this phone??
I usually get 12 plus hours on a single charge! Very impressive compared to other phones I've had in the past.

detailedReviews 68: content: The beautiful small, but immersive display coupled with the amazing design makes the phone feel like it's worth a million dollars. As a user of this phone, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything when I use it or when I'm comparing with other flagships. I always appreciate having 3 cameras even on the base model for the fact that I take so many pictures and find my self using my phone instead of my professional dslr! The 50 megapixels all the way to the underrated portrait video is pure art. Even with a lower resolution screen, the phone feels sharper than my s10 plus having a higher ppi. And not to mention the 120hz! It's amazing that a phone like this can come packed with so much. When gaming I enjoy screen recording and getting 120hz gameplay. The optimization of the chip has me choosing my s23 over my console. I enjoy this phone very much.

detailedReviews 69: content: This phone is everything I want out of a phone. My previous favorite was a Moto X Pure for the weight balance, feel in hand, and overall size, and the S23 is neck and neck with it on everything. I like the small size a lot, and holding other peoples' phones they feel like heavy monstrosities. I got the official leather case for it which is very thin which I like, and the wear pattern on the leather is looking very nice after a few months and the grippiness has improved to an ideal point.
Performance is excellent, I'm the kind of person who turns off animations because I like everything to be snappy and this phone delivers on that. My biggest gripe is I prefer pure Android over Samsung's version but it's easy to use a different launcher and disable/avoid the apps I don't want.
I expected to like this phone but not love it, but it's actually in the running for favorite phone I've ever used. I only have high praise.

detailedReviews 70: content: I'd like to first note that the transaction was amazing, received in under 24 hrs after ordering, came in perfect condition.
5 star phone
▪︎Amazing cameras,100x zoom,8k30fps compatible, 200mp sensor!
▪︎Amazing display , 1440p 120fps(can go all the way down from 1hz to a max of 120hz, I must say the display is so beautiful especially when watching 4k UHD HDR videos!
▪︎S pen, I personally haven't used it too much but it can be very useful for artists, writing signatures, taking pictures along with many other tasks.
▪︎fast chip!! It uses the snapdragon 8 gen 2 which appears to work perfectly for demanding tasks such as hard-core gaming , multi tasking or even multi windows running simultaneously, I personally haven't experienced 0 lags or stutters. It also dramatically is better in terms of managing heat and maintaining battery life compared to the s22 ultra!
▪︎security is top tier !! It's secured by Samsung Knox, has a secured folder, fingerprint reader(in screen) and facial recognition (along with all the other standard security options) the fingerprint works perfectly no issues.
▪︎self diagnose, the phone can self diagnose and test to make sure all the services are working properly.
▪︎ it's a Samsung! With Samsung it offers so many features, including free on-demand and live TV with over 100 channels, it has loads of unique features and services, a few examples are Bixby which is both an assistant and a tool for automated tasks, you also get loads of automation with the device for various tasks to help make your device more convenient.
The battery on this and heat management is top tier, it's actually on Apples battery type level and that says something, there's so much to unpack and I hope to be able to explore it all eventually. This phone is definitely not for the weak, it's specifically a high-end phone meant to be used to the fullest.
Only con: it has a 10mp front facing camera. The s22 ultra camera was so good all around that I only used snapchats camera and never the actual stock camera, now that it's 10mp and not 40mp, it's noticeably different. I think this is a major down grade regardless if it's stock camera benefits from this.
There's much more to mention but that's what came to mind, over all if you're looking for a premium phone and want a high-quality device , this phone definitely gets the job done by far with no issues, I'd highly advise a phone case as this phone is not cheap.
Love it!

detailedReviews 71: content: I've had this phone for just over a year. All was well with it until a couple of updates ago. After the update, I was getting an error message that there was moisture in the charging port. There isn't any moisture or anything, such as dust, in the port. Luckily, I'm able to charge it on a wireless charger that I had to buy, otherwise I would have to buy a new phone.
I have a friend that had the same problem with his Samsung phone, a different model, but still the same problem. His phone doesn't charge wireless, but his was under warranty and he was able to get a new one.
I wonder if anyone else has been having this problem?!

With the multi app feature I can use split screens to watch my games and also check current stats. I will have my game streaming and then have it split screen with Google Chrome to monitor stats in real time. It's super convenient and really easy way to get the best of both worlds! I also love the photos my samsung takes but it gets better! With the samsung photo editor tool i can enhance my image or use various filters and even use the erase tool if someone photo bombs my picture or i want to remove something in the background. So weather its sports, listening to podcast and seamlessly switching between screens, or editing photos for my online stores samsung does it all! detailedReviews 75: content: The Galaxy S23 is a great compact phone and nice upgrade from the S10 that I had previously.
I mainly use my phone for social media and shopping, but it is buttery smooth and how fast it loads with the Snapdragon CPU and the UFS 4.0 on the 256gb model. The S23's battery can definitely last all day with moderate use. I can't say much about gaming, but I imagine it can perform well. Just don't know battery can really hold for a couple hours or not.
If I have a few issues is that... why no micro SD card and it is more of my fault for not researching enough, but only 3,900mA battery? Again, only fit so much technology so much and If you do get the Stardard S23. Optimize your battery usage like light performance mode instead of stardard performance.
So far, no regrets and I can definitely recommand the S23 for your next compact smartphone.

detailedReviews 76: content: I work in IT and as an IT specialist, I am on my phone all day. My s23 has been able to keep up with the day to day use. I am constantly managing Google accounts, Microsoft accounts, active directory, DHCP and others and this phone can help me do it all, in one single charge. I'm able to receive the most recent security updates, the newest builds of Android, without ever skipping a beat.
I also have the Galaxy watch, and I just found out that I can charge my Galaxy watch with my s23, which has been a savior from time to time. Being able to rely on my phone for personal and professional purposes is definitely advantage of this phone, because I don't have to worry that my phone will die in the middle of my work day.
It's fast, it's responsive it's got a lot of storage, the camera quality is above any other, I can take pictures of serial numbers and they are completely legible.
I am extremely happy with this phone, and if I have to buy another phone I would buy this phone again.

detailedReviews 77: content: I'm totally blind! I got this to replace my old S21 cell phone. For the most part, I like Samsung Galaxy devices do to the louder external speaker over other devices like iPhones.
But anyway when I got this phone; The button layout are in the same arangement as my old phone. For me, that was a plus. The external speaker running the Same TTS along with Talkback doesn't seem to be as clear to me. It sounds like it is a little muffeled and a little lower in volume even with the same settings as my S21 like when in a pocket.
When charging the phone; The charging spead doesn't look to be much improved. You would think going from an 25W (S21) to and 45W (S23 plus) you would see a large difference on charging time. But looks to be only about 15 minutes or so difference. Yes a totally blind person needs to have the phone on to know how the phone is doing as far as charging otherwise the screen reader will not work. I do like the faster charging being I don't have to wait as long even that it is only 15 or so minutes faster. But again, this is an larger battery. Speaking of the battery! I get about 2 days and more on a charge. The old phone I was getting about 1. 5 days. I mainly use my phone to make and receive calls. I keep the screen off being a totally blind person doesn't need that function on to suck power. But running the external speaker takes as much power to run as the screen does! lol.
As far as turning on the phone to me seams to take as long as the old S21 to startup. This phone does work on AT&T network even on 5G. The bad thing is you cannot lock it to 5G only! But I'm guessing that this is do to Samsung and AT&T having an agreement that the phone must be set to Auto and the user cannot control that. Same goes if you are having trouble with cell signal quality and you want to use Wi-Fi calling! As long as you have an cell signal coverage! Wi-Fi calling will not work. Again AT&T not wanting people to use that as long as you are on there network. Other devices like Apples; Allow you to do that being they told AT&T you aren't going to do that.

detailedReviews 78: content: The Galaxy S23+ is an amazing smartphone. I purchased an Android device when I realized that I needed a device for work and my iPhone which was running the iOS17 beta wasn't compatible with many of the tools, programs and websites that I needed for work. I had tried several of the latest Android devices before settling on the S23+ and Samsung just does things better. The color pallete/dynamic theme options are done much better by Samsung. Samsung even handles the so called beta feature (apply to icons) better. I had briefly switched to Samsung last year with the S22 Ultra but as someone who enjoys messing around with customizations and all that I was quickly overwhelmed by all of the options but I honestly can't wait to see what OneUI 6 looks like once it's released for the S23+. Another thing that I love about Samsung is the health features. There are some such as snoring detection that you just can't get on Apple products currently.

title: Amazing smartphone, Samsung does things better.
detailedReviews 79: content: Well, after 4 years I made the transition from the S10 Lite, which until then was the best mobile phone I have used in relation to the money I paid. And I decided to go for a flagship because the features of the S10 Lite convinced me that it's worth upgrading. So far, I am very satisfied. Of course, the usage I have is very specific.
- Display 1: I think it will be difficult for me to go back to a different refresh rate after experiencing 120Hz.
- Display 2: The highest brightness I have seen on a mobile phone.
- Display 3: The size of 6.1 serves me better than the 6.4 I had before. Now it fits in my pocket. The other one didn't fit.
- Battery: I used to charge the other one to 85% and it lasted me 2 days. This one is still struggling a bit. I charge it to 100%, but I believe once it learns my patterns, it will also last a long time. I see a change day by day (which is logical since I had it constantly on during the first few days). At the moment, with 2 hours and 16 minutes, it's at 70%. Not bad. From next month, I will charge it to 85% like I did with the other one, and that's why the battery was almost like new after 4 years. I don't play games, so that also counts.
- Speed: I have activated Lite mode and I don't see any difference in what I do. It's as fast as it gets.
- Call quality: For me, so far, it's the best I have ever had. Crystal clear even in areas where the other one struggled. Of course, this is complex and it needs a long period of time to be properly judged.
- Camera: Samsung level. I haven't encountered any banana blur yet. Maybe they fixed it or reduced it. The night mode is incredibly good. I was truly amazed by how good it is. I think the photo quality won't bother 99% of the users. The portrait mode is also very good because it has optical zoom. I don't take selfies, so I can't judge.
- Additional: OneUI keeps getting better and better, reverse charging is useful for charging my headphones when I'm on the go. I didn't expect this feature to be so useful. The design fully satisfies me, especially for one-handed use. Note: It doesn't need tempered glass because it affects the fingerprint. Get a screen protector to protect the screen (unless someone wants to get tempered glass for drops). Face recognition is a bit hit or miss (e.g. it struggles a bit with glasses). But the fingerprint is flawless. 4 years of security updates is a bonus.
UPDATE: I wanted to add regarding the camera that the 50MP is only for the 4:3 aspect ratio. Personally, all my photos are in this ratio, so it doesn't bother me. Also, I never use the 50MP because the photos are good without it, and also, 50MP takes up more space on the phone. If I had gotten the version with 256GB of storage, maybe I would have permanently chosen the 50MP option (now I have to manually select it every time I open the camera).

detailedReviews 81: content: I have had my Samsung Galaxy S23+ for roughly 4 months now. So far, I have not run into any issues and it works as smoothly as it did when I first turned it on. There a lots of subtle features that I really enjoy about this phone, especially the camera. The phone automatically adjusts it's brightness depending on your environment whether you're outside or inside. The camera has built in features for specific things. If you're taking a portrait, taking a picture of your food or for whatever reason you want to zoom in on the moon. Trust me, there is a feature for it. I specifically had my previous phone an A21 traded in to receive this new Samsung, the process went by swimmingly as well. My trade-in was accepted, the phone arrived a day earlier than expected via shipping and no screen crack, no damaged phone during transit. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant overall experience.

detailedReviews 82: content: I ordered an open-box Samsung Galaxy S23 and it came very quickly. The phone has no screen scratches or visible marks on the phone and looks almost brand new. I was concerned at first when I saw the screen and what looked like some screen burn and I emailed the company right away. I admit that I was nervous buying a used, unlocked phone online and after reading some of the reviews here, it heightened my anxiety. I took the phone to Verizon thinking I would need to return it and purchase another right away. There was a rather firm screen protector stuck to the screen and the burn-in was on that and not the screen. I returned home to an email from the company, much more quickly than expected and they were very helpful and supportive. I am very satisfied and appreciate the quick response and helpfulness of the business. Thank you, I am very happy with my phone and it works wonderfully!

detailedReviews 83: content: I love my Samsung S23+!!! It does arguably everything I need and want a smartphone to do. There had been a few series that I skipped before recently upgrading earlier this year. In fact, my last Smasung the S20. Personally I have never waited that long before, but it was well worth it. The new S23+ is faster, the screen is better... streaming on it has never looked more beautiful. The camera is also top tier and allows me to take some of the most quality pictures in recent times. It is also good at taking notes. I can just snap a picture of the text and copy it on my Samsung notes. The actual sound quality during phone calls is greater than before. Overall I am very happy with my new Samsung S23+, it works well with my Galaxy Buds Pro and my Galaxy Watch 3 and helps solidifies my decision with staying with the brand for a considerable future.

detailedReviews 84: content: I've had to retrain it 2 or 3 times and it's actually become 2 phones in one as I've had technological issues and it was prevented from me for the first 3 months. I was waiting for it. So having finally gotten it back and trying to make it functional. I kept running into hiccups with accounts. Looking for other phones and verifications. That's not working out and then a second full mind issue and someone installing. The wrong kind of e. SIM. I'm having to go through a huge headache, but getting through all of it. The phone seems to have survived with just one scratch before I got it's covered on and I wish only that the screen were a little bigger like my 21FE was I had to buy an internet. I liked the screen size and the comfort of holding that phone. Better than this one, it's once clicked. Here to hold onto and the edges are sharp. Where is the other one was comfortable in your hand and the screen was a little bigger. I'm interested in the 23F. E!But I am stuck at the full price on this because I was taken away and not allowed to turn in another phone so I didn't get the credit.
In fact, I'm looking at the deals going on now. And I completely got robbed on it. I paid entirely too much for what they're giving out now. I paid like $900 and got nothing for it. Where people are giving them away for less than I have on my account. And Verizon should be. I don't know really conscious of how they do customers that way. And you're gonna have things like right now. I could get 2

detailedReviews 85: content: I use my phone on a daily basis, and the overall battery life is amazing! Almost a full 9 hours of use and i only need to charge it once a day, and if i ever get low or forget to charge it, Superfast charging has me covered with needing almost 1 hour to fully charge from 10%!
The overall power of the phone is amazing too, The apps barley take up any battery, and cell service speeds work amazingly well! I'm actually able to get what I payed for with 5G, and the storage has way more than i can count, so I can keep every memory on my phone 😁
The connectivity between my phone and watch makes it even better than it already is, The connection works seamlessly and if I don't have my watch on, I can easily figure out where it is!
OneUI is also by far the BEST UI I've EVER USED!! It's super fluent, smooth and pretty!!
Overall, I'd 100% recommend someone to buy a samsung phone! Samsung always delivers their phones with more than you expect.

detailedReviews 86: content: I agonized over this decision-it's a lot of money! The first thing I noticed is the weight. It's heavy. Heavier than my S20 plus. The next thing I noticed is how awkward it is on my hand. Yes, it is a bit bigger, but the corners make it downright difficult for me. I'm an average sized woman with average sized hands, and this phone is just uncomfortable to hold. I even considered returning it because of the corners and waiting until the next one comes out. Having said all of that, I've noticed an appreciable difference in the photos between my S20+ and the S23 ultra. The quality is definitely much better. That will be a plus for my business. I have not even begun to explore the many features, but one of my new favorites is the gridline in the photos. For product photos, they are awesome. I'll update as I learn more about it, but you'll probably want to get a holder loop for it if you are not a guy with larger hands.

detailedReviews 87: content: I upgraded from an S20+ that I absolutely adored. I wasn't looking to upgrade. My S20+ glass finally broke after many drops in 3+ years. It was a champ.
The upgrade process was decent but lacking. Some settings were lost and app logins didn't transfer over (except for Google logins). I have tons of apps and STILL have not fully recovered from the migration. The S23+ supposedly has an eSim but Verizon was unable to find/use the eSmin during the activation process. I had to pull the physical sim from the S20+ and put it in the S23+.
I feel confident that the functional capabilities will be fine. It's a Samsung. It's Android. I have had the S23+ less than a day, so I cannot yet comment on the compute power, battery, etc. I have found the camera quality of the S23+ to be far superior than that of the S20+.
I've been having problems with cell signal with the S20+ and suspected the radio might be going bad. Not so. The S23+ isn't getting any better signal, so the issue is with Verizon.
So far, my biggest gripe about the S23+ is that it looks and feels like an iPhone. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one. The S20+ was thin and sleek, with the glass rounded over on the sides. It felt young, vibrant, and sleek, like a cool race car. The S23+ feels bulky and stodgy. It's thicker, shorter, and heavier. It just doesn't feel as good or natural in the hand. :(
So advice: if you are an iPhone user and you want to try out an Android device, this is the phone for you. If you are a long time Samsung Galaxy Android user, look elsewhere.

detailedReviews 88: content: I love my S22 phone and am on it almost constantly doing research, playing games, texting or shopping. It's slim, lightweight and a great little workhorse. Love the camera features. Might've configured them differently, but work well for what I need. Easy to find covers to protect your investment and keep the display crisp and clear as the day you opened the box it arrived in. The battery lasts a long time between charges so your.device is still available when you need it. I keep getting a newer model every couple years not because there's anything wrong with my current one but because I love the quality and new features/capabilities of the newer models and want to continue to enjoy my experience. Do yourself a favor and get one. Trust me. You'll love it as much as I do!

detailedReviews 90: content: Since it has only been a few days, I hope all this stays true.
Pro's: Unlocked, nice screen and visuals, finger print reader so far so good, nice they allow a code as well just in case. Battery life so far is excellent getting 2 to 2. 5 days on a charge and I use this always. Transfer of data from my old S8 to this was seamless, took about 40 minutes. Had to run to Verizon for the 5G Sim card (free by the way at Verizon if you're a customer) who also helped me activate the phone.
Since I am still figuring out what all I can do with this phone, I don't have a lot to report. It is a large phone which will take some getting used to, but seems to have what I need for battery life and memory. I did not purchase for the cameras, though anymore this where the money is on these phones, guess I'll have to start taking more photos! Only thing I would say is make sure and get a good protection case for it, as these are investments anymore.

detailedReviews 91: content: I got this phone 4 months ago after having my note 9 since 2018. It's fast and has all the nice android features I expect and am comfortable with. Sometimes I miss having a bigger screen but I did choose the smaller s23 cause the big screen is hard for me to deal with sometimes. Overall I recommend the s23 series to anyone who's willing to give it a shot. I love having endless customization options and using the Samsung themes with this phone makes us fun to use. The camera is also incredible as I took very HD pics of the moon the other day. The only thing I will say is if 128g is not enough for you, consider the Google one storage! As a mobile sales rep at an AT&T store, I deal with alot of phones on a daily basis and am happy to have this s23 above all other phones. I plan on holding onto this phone for many years to come, until it breaks!

detailedReviews 92: content: I have had this phone for about six months and it is the best phone I have ever had. It outclasses my previous S9+ by leaps and bounds. It also has a camera that out performs current Apple phones. The S23 Ultra feels like a phone from 2-3 years in the future, like it has skipped a generation of models. The display is quick and beautifully detailed. The battery has a good capacity, suiting the phone's power consumption, so you do not need to charge it more than daily. But the most phenomenal aspect is the camera! Take a photo in the 200megapixel mode and view it in Gallery. You can zoom in to your heart's content, the photos are perfect, crisp, and vivid. The file size (7mb-115mb) created by the camera necessitates a large storage capacity that is available in this phone. The S23 Ultra is awesome!

detailedReviews 93: content: This is a beautiful phone. My best one ever. Color, screen resolution, more features than ever. Hope I get another six to seven years of enjoyment as I did with my S9+. There are two discrepancies that I noticed right away: The phone unlike the past comes with no charger. Can't believe they would not provide one for the price we're paying. Secondly the very first direction is to remove the sim card. I could not get the tray to open so a hasty call to my provider saved the day when they provided a digital SIM. I love this phone and do not want to go through a terrible Christmas return. A You Tube video shows a couple tricks to get it open so I will leave it alone and enjoy my new phone. Might I suggest that Samsung check this feature when packing these phones. With all said this is a beautiful and exciting new phone and I'm looking forward to years of enjoying it.

detailedReviews 94: content: Well constructed with quality components, great performance, battery runtime and reasonably fast charging.
A number of the added features Samsung includes on top of "pure Android" are well designed and implemented.
I use a mix of Google and Samsung apps and would like to be able to remove/disable duplicates and others that are of no use or have questionable data collection routines running in the background.
Secure Folder is an excellent feature. I disabled all other Knox components as they are redundant with all that Microsoft Intune offers.
Lightroom for Samsung integration with the Expert RAW camera is convenient.
The value proposition at full retail price (with no carrier incentives) is over the top in my opinion. I purchased this device during a Samsung web site 24-hour flash sale.

detailedReviews 95: content: The S23+ is a phone that I've loved so far. It's very useful for when I go out because it holds a good charge that last and charges fast with its fast charging feature. The interface is extremely useful and makes it very easy to use which is a delight. What's even better is the camera, the camera is the best I've ever had on a phone and makes everything look better than it is. The screen feels unbreakable I've dropped it quite a bit, but it has con the screen gets smeared very easily and recently doesn't always respond for me. The Bixby function doesn't work that great either, I'll say its name alot of time and have to continue saying it before it responds. Then when Bixby finals responds it takes a bit which gets frustrating alot of the time. That's all I have to say about the S23+. Besides thats I would recommend it.

detailedReviews 96: content: I practically have my Samsung strapped to my body. There's an app for everything and I think I have them all. Honestly the one time that I did have an issue I merely uploaded the information to the help system and I had a reply back directly. I think that's a better review than telling you just about how great the phone is. Every phone is going to have an issue. The best thing in the world is a company that actually communicates with you so you don't have to go through a bunch of community help lines everywhere.
I interface mine to my computer, I've used it for creating videos, can't mention the video products here but they're awesome. Can't mention opposition phone types but let's just say a lot of my friends look at what I do sometimes and just say, I didn't know you could do that on an Android.
People get stuck. This system will get you unstuck. It gets strapped to my bicycle, it gets strapped to my arm, Android Auto in my car, etc. There is nowhere that this doesn't fit my lifestyle.

Last but not least samsung pay had been the craziest feature I've used and enjoyed. detailedReviews 104: content: This has been by far my favorite galaxy to date. The camera takes beautiful photos with very little effort to capture what you see. detailedReviews 106: content: This phone is everything I want out of a phone.

Only thing I would say is make sure and get a good protection case for it, as these are investments anymore.

detailedReviews 115: content: I got this phone 4 months ago after having my note 9 since 2018. I plan on holding onto this phone for many years to come, until it breaks!

title: Fast, nice features, incredible camera.
detailedReviews 116: content: I have had this phone for about six months and it is the best phone I have ever had. The S23 Ultra is awesome!

title: Best phone ever, outperforms Apple.
detailedReviews 117: content: Well constructed with quality components, great performance, battery runtime and reasonably fast charging.
I purchased this device during a Samsung web site 24-hour flash sale.

detailedReviews 118: content: The S23+ is a phone that I've loved so far. Besides thats I would recommend it.

detailedReviews 119: content: I practically have my Samsung strapped to my body.
