Works like any other oil: rub oil into dry or damp skin, gently loosen makeup/dirt/etc., and rinse with warm water. It's nice to follow up with a soft face cloth, but you should always follow up with a facial cleanser. A secondary facial cleanser is a must for all oil removers, since this second cleanser will remove all residue and keep the oil from possibly breaking out your skin. With that being said, this oil removes makeup very nicely, especially waterproof formulas. It is also great for removing long wear lipstick (no unpleasant taste either, yay!). I've tried many oil cleansers, with DHC being my favorite for years, but this oil from Kose is a fraction of the cost and works just as well. I'll be sticking with this oil cleanser instead.
