It is pigmented and waterproof. You have to let it dry for it to be smudgeproof. It does not sting the eyes i have really sensitive eyes but this did not hurt my eyes at all. One downside is that i dont know how to extend the kajal it doesnt twist and turn for it to get taken out. But ill figure it out somehow. I recommend this!
