I’ve been using this for more than 2 weeks already before writing this review. Before this, i was using the centella ampoule (the yellow packaging) for more than 3 months already and my skin reacted POSITIVELY to it. So i bought another bottle of it PLUS this one because i was thinking the brand itself works wonders so upon doing my research on reviews, i thought that this tone brightening ampoule would also work good just like the centella ampoule (the yellow packaging) does.
In my first week of using it, there was really no allergic reaction, redness, or irritation happened. There are also NO tiny bumps on my skin after using it. So my initial thought is it’s working well. But i noticed that i’ve been having pimples but not in a way that i can term it as “break out” because the pimples would only grow one by one. For example, after the one pimple heals, another pimple would pop out so on and so forth. And with that, I didn’t really blame it to the ampoule ‘cause i thought it might just be hormonal or something. And actually, most of it are cystic acne. For the past 2 weeks, i think i’ve grown and healed around 6 pimples. But the popping out and healing of pimples only occured when i was using this product. So i dont know if i should really blame the product or if its just my hormones acting up. But its been more than 2 weeks and the cycle keeps going on (this does not really happen when i was not using this yet)
HOWEVER, this is where my dilemma is, i really think that it really smoothens my face and at the same time lessens the dullness of my face. So like what is happening is that it improves my texture but at the same time, i am having cystic acne (but not a lot tho) again, i don’t know if the suspect of my acne is this ampoule.
My skin type: Combination (Oily T zone and dry on other areas)

The packaging is a huge 100ml sturdy plastic bottle so you get a good amount of product for the price you pay which is $24. As for the scent it's pretty neutral and unnoticeable (it's fragrance free) and most importantly it's cruelty free. Overall I think it's a good product and gives you a good value for your money. I'm gonna keep using it on a daily basis for a month and will update if I see a noticeable change in a few small dark spots that are on the cheek part of my face.

I've suffered from PIH scars for so long and none of the products that I've experimented with have produced instant results like this product. After just one week my PIH scars have faded significantly, very obvious difference.

I get compliments saying pumuti daw ako hehe. Even ako nagugulat pag tumitingin sa salamin pag gabi na hahaha. This serum absorbs rather quickly into the skin, even the white beads disappear. For a 100mL bottle, it can go a long way, as I was able to use it for almost 3 months. Because it does have tranexamic acid and a form of vitamin c, it can sting when you apply onto exposed pimples. But because I was consistently incorporating it into my skincare, nag-la-lighten and nag-fa-fade ang pimple marks weeee. Highly recommended!

This serum is unbelievably good. I've only tried it once for now but I was in shock because when I woke up the next day, some of my dark spots were gone. N my skin tone looked much better. I usually have a lot of redness but its almost gone now. The only thing is, its quite rich so I did end up with 2 small pimples popping up. I started using this in 2023 Oct as it has Niacinamide, at a good percentage, bonuses are the made white specs.
The other niacinamide that I used was at 10% and i looked so white, my nephew even said, it appears I am wearing a physical sunscreen.
If you are looking for a serum with Niacinamide at the right %age, this is a good product!
Skin1004 delivers what they promise!! Consistency is the key. My skin is brighter but not white!!! Thanks Skin1004.
Oh most serums of Skin1004 lasts 6 mos for me as i use a different one at night.

Effectiveness:I tried it for 2 days and I can say that it does improve my skin texture/condition. I only use this at night and apply the same variant for my sunscreen. It really is effective in improving my skin condition in just two days. I love how unscented it is, reminds me of my fave skincare products from Mary Kay and Cethapil. It has somewhat that kind of quality but this will be my holy grail from now on. I just hope I could afford them whenever I need them.
