snippets: now previously I was reviewing the nothing here too but it didn't go into much detail about the high res aspect of it because this genius here thought that did nothing for one does not support lhdc it turns out that this phone one nothing provided me hasn't had a firmware update since last year but now after updating the firmware lhdc support was added which means you can now stream in high res using the year 2 if you have a nothing phone one I know stupid right but this gave me a golden opportunity to try the ear 2's difference between streaming audio over the high high-res lhdc and the more regular AAC codec, yes audio over lhdc sounds more crisp more vibrant more Airy in the highest heavier mids richer bass extension and it sounds a lot less compressed than AC only nothing for one

snippets: in terms of transparency that's another area where these earbuds do fall a bit short for me in comparison to the competition the level of transparency as in the volume of the outside world that the earbuds let in is fixed and you can't adjust it in the app and to me it's a little too low it's functional in practice but I prefer earbuds where I can match the outside world's volume with or without earbuds in as that feels the most natural, also the sound of your own voice when you're talking isn't Amplified At All by any type of side tone while wearing the earbuds so that feels very unnatural and gives you that congested feeling where your voice just kind of sounds different in your head so this is a bit of a Miss as I found I prefer transparency modes of just about every other earbud I've ever tested even the $99 Samsung buds F, One weird thing those when you turn on transparency mode you hear the sound of a woman whispering in your ear ASMR I guess

snippets: all right category nine is a transparency mode and I&#39;m scoring both bars a 7 out of 10 the same as the E2 the E and EA do have noticeably less White Noise hiss I rate them about a 1 out of five where the e2&#39;s white noise was quite obvious about a 3 out of five but the overall Clarity of the transparency mode is about the same if anything the E2 is a little bit clearer both buds still have a decent transparency mode it&#39;s quite natural but like hearing things in the distance is a little bit muffled even talking to someone like in a quiet room it&#39;s just not incredibly clear picking up voices and hearing your own voice when you speak as well is also a little bit muffled and you get that automatic wind reduction so for example if you&#39;re going to be going for a run outside the mics are automatically going to pick up quite a bit of wind noise so it&#39;s automatically going to turn that transparency mode off and there&#39;s no way to turn this Auto wind reduction off in the app and I did notice the EA picks up much less Wind Through the microphones it&#39;s not as loud where the e as well as the E2 pick up that wind quite easily and you just kind of hear it more so something to keep in mind
