snippets: and you got about 40 hours of battery life which is pretty good and you'll get that most days 39 40 hours and yeah it's 45 but that's your rapid charge as well and but not using the max volume you'll get probably 42 probably 43 all ofense um but that's it there so let's have a talk about them and tell you how they sound like from my testing they sound pretty good nice and well balanced high lows and M are fine all that it's just they're kids headphones but they're given this little audio boost you could say to give them a better audio experience because I've tested some headphones for kids before and it's been pretty dull in some cases and some of them been pretty good but a school candy have said here it's premium sound for Quality Music movies and podcast and they just do that job and perfectly well and fine and you know most kids to be honest aren't going to be audio files or nothing like that but um even for we listening they sound good and of course if school can eat signature sound you know so that's a pretty much it but the thing is they're collapsable they're robust they're strong they're very very light which is the important thing as well for kids and you've got all your controls here so we're going to go through them controls now and show you what it's like so you can hear I've already played music there by just tapping this here so what we'll do is I'll just let you listen for one sec so you can turn your volume down here and of course you control your volume by pressing that guy there so what we're going to do is go and put the phone up show you how this but or this uh cover here works and we'll go from there okay so lastly we're going to look at the controls so first of we're going to start um which kids might not really need but you've got voice assistance double tap on this will bring up the voice assistance as you can see there okay so just just to get that out the way the rest is done by going here now you've got your override volume here but you can't see the volume on this but you can we lower the volume on your phone which once it's below that kind of last point on it there it clicks it's harder to press or roll should they say and it overloads the volume then you can see the school candy lad there so so with the rest of the controls we're going to speak about them now playing pause we'll act move your tracks along and just get going here once Play Once pause okay so you can track forward by pressing twice and reverse track by pressing three times as you can see there all is working fine and it's really easy to use and that's basically all there is to it and your volume control then is done through here and then again your voice assistant is done through there and that's pretty much it and how it works it's pretty simple to use and overall really nice comfortable pair of headphones again and nice for kids ideal for kids really really light simple functions on them to use and I think overall this is a better objective than the buttons and like we've seen a lot of headphones that do have a touch capacity or you can press on the cap LS out there to um control um your headphones or whatever the case may be it's more the feet or so on earb but not this tapping the actual outside but it is a feature on some or some gesture based but this is a nice learner for kids I think and again it's easier less buttons less confusion and all on one side here as you can see so all the controls are on one side so it's not hard to learn how to use either and it's simplified by The taing Experience here in this volume wheel here so that's it thanks for watching we will see you in the next video oh and by the way um just to finish off with the audio there's no like latency toys Lo and M all good again and a nice little bit of Base in there too and again there's no app access B simple thr them on charge them put them on and way you go or as you can use your cable if you want out battery as well so that be effectively using these in the word version which these do come in as well so that's it for now thanks for watching and stay tuned for more coming from school candy soon on take.com

snippets: now as far as the sound and I'm going to go ahead and say this these uh were quite the surprise when it came to the sound, now if you're going to listen to them just at like their normal volume without going into that override mode uh everything that I'm going to say here still applies to that it's just going to be much lower I mean you definitely have to push it into that override mode if you're an adult to really be able to get you know really good volume out of these but once you do these have some pretty nice Punchy base but it's tight uh it's not sloppy it's not like overbearing it's not drowning everything out it does have pretty good subbase though so if you are listening to things where you know it needs to kind of sound like a subwoofer it can definitely do that the mids are pushed forward which uh this is a huge thing in a pair like this because I could see a lot lot of kids using this more for movies and TV shows and YouTube and stuff like that I don't know how many little kids or younger kids are actually listening to Spotify so having the mids push forward means you're going to be able to hear talking and dialogue and you know vocalists and everything a little bit better it's not something you have to worry it's going to be hard to hear and the treble on these also have a nice detailed sound to them now they're not close to spiking or hitting that harsh sound so you don't have to worry about ear fatigue or damaging ears because of higher frequencies, so my overall opinion is the sound is pretty fantastic for a pair that's 35 bucks

snippets: now we are going to talk about why these are specifically made for kids why they have the features that they have and can it actually be used by adults or would it be beneficial to look into this pair because it's only $35 and from a company like Skull Candy not that they're one of the higher tier companies or more expensive Brands there's some features here and some sound and things that I want to talk about that might make these actually worth picking up if you're an adult, but if your kid has a huge melon this is not going to fit it definitely did not fit me I had to kind of wear them a little further back on my head to actually have the ear cups cover my ears and some other things is they also made hinges on here that would keep these from pinching kids fingers because they do fold in, and then they have a little volume will and the volume is another thing that they've done to purposely make this for kids because they're limiting it to only 855 DB although there is just a simple override method Once you turn the volume wheel all the way up you actually have to push it a little bit harder and if you push it where it shows Skull Candy's logo on the volume wheel it makes it much louder and this is where I say that this could be used by adults I think at the normal trying to limit it volume level it definitely is pretty low I think it's loud enough for kids it's going to be great so you don't have to hear everything that your kids's listening to you don't have to have that kid in a store that's blasting what they're listening to on their phone you can have this on their head that will eliminate a lot of that but if you're an adult and you need that louder volume or if you're just a kid and you have your kid on a plane where it's going to be a little bit harder to hear these overriding it by pushing it up that little bit is going to make a huge difference but we'll talk about that once we get into the sound
