detailedReviews 2: content: I started using C4 on the advice of a buddy who does Ruck Pack workouts (weighted backpacks, sandbags, etc.) and I must say I'm impressed. The powder tastes so much better than the version sold in cans, and it mixes great with minimal a minimal amount of water (6oz) so your stomach doesn't get that "sloshy" effect when you're moving around!
The actual effects are fantastic! In about 5 minutes you get this tingly sensation and then it's go time! I was able to work out much longer than normal and I felt more focused while lifting. This product will totally increase your endurance and workout efficiency. Think instead of going hard for 30 - 45 minutes you can go 69 -90 minutes.
But the best part, it doesn't make you jittery or wired like so many other energy drinks. You're not running around like someone that's had way to much coffee; you're just able to workout longer and push yourself harder!

But who really cares about what it tastes like anyway. For workout use I have found this incredibly powerful. When I come back from work. I have normally feel shattered as I have a physical job. But knowing I have this stuff all I need to do is drink it If I need to be productive. Wait half an hour and suddenly I am ready to rock and roll. As soon as you drink it, you start feeling pins and needles all over your body which some people may find weird. But I like it as I know it's taking effect. But the pins and needles wear off after about 15 minutes or quicker as soon as you start working out. When your at the gym you feel focused and sometimes even lost your own world of working out. For me it's been great As I've now have that drink that can kick me in the ass whenever I need to be productive. Not just at the gym but also doing chores around the house or if i need to push through a few more hours on a hard day at work. Honestly great product and no real calm down. Just wouldn't drink it after 5:00 p.m. As it can keep you up. 5 star ??????????

For my purposes, I use C4 for longer, sustained exercise. I have grown up playing sports and once high school hit, I was required to start lifting weights for some of them. I discovered pre workout one day as a couple teammates were taking C4 in the locker room so I tried a scoop and had the best lifting session I had ever had. My repetitions had a certain drive behind each rep that I had never experienced before, and I set multiple personal records. I bought my own, used it before each lifting session, and ended up gaining over fifteen pounds in two months. To this day, I use C4 before every lift because it gives me consistently high, sustained energy, as it does for many people that I know. It is important to understand the ingredients in each formula when shopping for pre-workout. Different ingredients contribute to the overall effects in their own way. My other half who is stim sensitive also said she didnt feel much on half a scoop so thats a good dign its not OTT - were not drug addicts! So, if you're looking for something that gives great pumps and gives you energy after a long day at work, this is ideal - it also doesnt taste bad like may do (i couldnt finish Recon, went in the bin) so thats a bonus too. Think ill go for pineapple next as thats my fave jack3d flavour.

Extra: I have extensive research on Cellucors C4 product line from C4 Original, Carbonated, Ripped, On The Go, Ultimate, Extreme Energy and Sport. C4 flavor testing was superb!!! Flavors are amazing, I used a serving scoop in about 8oz of water mixed with crushed ice. I am a huge fan of Cellucors C4 line and this doesn't fail me too the least. C4 mixes well with products from Cellucor but be careful to read the ingredients because too much isn't good.
Mixability: 10/10 - No issues at all, no extra flakes give it a good shake or vortex spin and you're good to go.
Overall: First off thank you Cellucor for making another excellent product, C4 products work tremendously. Not even that the flavor is a great starting point as well as it tastes amazing. But we are all here for the gainz and getting the boost necessary and routines in, I give this product a thumbs up!!!
More Extras: ATP is a source of energy our body created, the more ATP the more our body can do. I won't be going into complete detail as I have learned all about ATP, energy systems, etc in College however one thing I found great about the C4 is that you won't feel any crash after training/workout. I felt the boost and noticed my training/workout lasted longer than normal. I could've gone even more, and it's hard to find a naturally perfect balance of ingredients in an energy booster, not only does it boost ATP/Energy within the body, the ingredients are a perfect mixture, plus no crash which is what we all need

After purchasing my go-to C4 Blue Razz Original their formula it has changed & not for the better. It had no effect on me not even a tingle. I then received C4 Extreme. Ordered from Ebay fulfilled by Amazon. C4-Extreme gave me a tingle within 10 minutes like the original but the new original formula never does. C4 Extreme gave me a 2 hour extreme Heavy Lift night workout with Vapor Lock Focus. Heavy Pumps as well. I had to force myself to stop. Even though I have a heart condition I was careful not to overload this 300mg Extreme formula , I used a smaller scoop & that was all it took. I experienced not one Heart Palpitation with this 300mg caffeine formula. The taste was awesome with no aftertaste. My only recommendation is they should provide a smaller scoop as you do not need as much as the original where I would do 1-1/2 or even 2 scoops. This formula was perfect with excellent results. Now for the after effects- None just Hungry & slept like a Baby 2 hours after a night workout. BUY IT.

This new formulation is a much finer powder and mixed up perfectly In a glass with a spoon, no shaker needed. Taste: In previous versions of c4 they have always tasted good to me, a little on the sweet side and most were pretty tart. Fruit punch in other versions was usually pretty tart for me. This new version tastes sweet like usual minus the tartness which makes it much more enjoyable. Sometimes I like to mix it with extra water and continue sipping on it throughout my workout because it tastes so good. Energy & Focus: This procurement has always given me tremendous energy & focus. I was skeptical that a better formula could be made. I appreciate That The caffeine & beta alanine levels were both increased. I'm glad the N-Acetyl-l-tyrosine stayed in the formula since I can really tell extra mental clarity from it. I'm a big fan of removing bitter orange & yohimbe and replacing with a cutting edge novel compound like teacor. TeaCor seems to give as good if not better energy/focus than the other stimulants minus the unwanted side effects. Typically I would use 3 scoops of c4. The tweaked formula has allowed me to cut back to 2 scoops which adds extra value to the product. I used this product ever day for 2 weeks and noticed no tolerance. Strength: I'm currently cutting so calories are lowered, cardio is increased, & c4 was the only supplement I was using during the 2 week time frame. Even while cutting I was able to maintain my strength, & it even increased on some lifts Vascularity: This is one of my favorite parts of c4. I've been using it for years & it always delivers some of the best pumps possible. I think Cellucor struck gold when they decided to use creatine nitrate in their preworkout & the addition of arginine akg allows it to last even longer in your body. I notice the pump regardless of how much product I use which really is a testament to how potent the creatine nitrate is. I've even found myself taking a scoop of c4 on nights I go out in order to give me energy/focus/& pumps lol Formula: I've been a loyal fan of c4 ever since it was first released a few years back. I'm extremely happy Cellucor has continued to use the same foundation for the formula while only tweaking very minor aspects of the formula. detailedReviews 15: content: Recently, Cellucor sent over a tub of their new Candy Shop Series flavor of C4 Original, juicy candy burst. Was excited to try this out and here's what I think of the new flavor and the product! C4 Original's formula is somewhat abbreviated (short on ingredients) and clearly designed for flexible scooping. Personally, I am inclined based on the dosing of the ergogenic aids and stims double scoop C4 Original in order to get the desired effects I want. However, this simple formula does cover the bases that should be covered in a pre-workout and there is the nice flexibility of single or double scooping. I have used C4 original in the past (one of the first pre-workouts I tried), and the combo of 3.2 grams of beta-alanine, 2 grams of creatine nitrate, 2 grams of AAKG, and 300 mg of caffeine is tried and true. It will help with pumps and physical performance. Plus, the velvet bean seed extract and theacrine give C4 Original a nice feel that pre-workouts with only caffeine do not provide. The current price per serving is $1, which I'd love to see come down a bit because it is a product I double scoop. If this product was closer to $0.50 a serving I'd snap it up anytime, especially for the flavors. I have used C4 Original for innumerable workouts. I have a good handle on its effects. The product delivers a CNS boost consistently with a middling intensity but smooth feel. Definitely free of jitters and tachycardia, which is a big plus. The pumps are decent but a little less consistent than the energy - somewhat more dependent on pre-workout nutrition and the type of exercises and the intensity of those exercises. However, the pumps and circulation effects are better than one would expect just from a glance at the profile. In terms of focus and mood effects, C4 Original is one of the better low stim, mainstream products as the L-dopa from the velvet bean really delivers that edge. Also, it just seems that sometimes simpler pre-workout formula hit cleaner and are easier on the gut, which is also something to consider when hitting the gym. I've tried a ton of different C4 Original flavors and have enjoyed many of them for the most part, but this new candy shop series flavor juicy candy burst is definitely an upgrade on the original flavors. It is a strong flavor that can have a little medicinal edge if too little water is used though so I suggest using at least 8 oz of water per scoop. I really like 2 scoops in 18-20 oz of cold water. The flavor definitely lives up to the candy burst aspect of the name and makes your mouth water after a sip. The flavor is boldly both sweet and tart! I think it a flavor anyone will enjoy. The Juicy Candy Burst flavor was very tasty and delicious. It tastes and smells exactly like a pink Starburst. When I took my first sip I had no words to describe how incredible this flavor was because it was too amazing. This flavor was refreshing and sweet. It was almost as if I had the actual candy in my mouth. I used one level scoop with 8-10 oz. of water in my shaker. Within a few seconds the water mixed very well with the powder. The mixing is terrific as always especially coming from Cellucor. Usually in about 5-10 mins. before my workout I could already feel a good amount of energy and would feel motivated to workout. The energy and focus lasted throughout my entire workouts. I did not feel exhausted or unmotivated. The strength and muscle pumps are excellent. I always have the best pumps. They were very full and skin tightening. I was able to lift heavier, performed extra reps and set new PRs. Out of all the other flavors I have tried before I must say the Juicy Candy Burst flavor is my most favorite and has exceeded my expectations. As for taste, I bought a Marguerite flavor, since it was cheaper than the others, probably because nobody wanted it. It was surprisingly delicious, but I do have a big sweet tooth. It does not blend well, and I often found there was always powder at the bottom even when adding extra water and shaken it vigorously. Doesn't pack a super hype punch like some preworkouts, but it always gets the job done gives my muscles that warm pain free feeling that helps me breeze through tuff workouts uninhibited. If you like C4 products, or are looking at trying a preworkout without breaking bank, this is definitely a solid option. This new packaging is lighter than the original but has the same 30 servings, and as far as I can tell, it feels the same in terms providing the kick before going for an activity. It also seems to stay in its s powdery form better than the original/previous version. That one seemed to clump after about 3 weeks and after a month I could be on its way to harden. It still would break when stirred but it wasn't the same fine powdered it had been when freshly opened. This new formula seems to be better at keeping it in its fine powder form.

If you're looking for the best pre-workout on the market, check out Project-1 by 1st Phorm. I've tried all of the supplement companies, and they're just the top shelf stuff.

I would like to give the good folks at Cellucor a tremendous shout out for giving me the opportunity to test drive one of the start products in their NEW 4th Generation Cellucor Lineup! For those of you who do not know, C4 by Cellucor is a Pre Workout Supplement (I'Äôm sure most of you have heard of by now) that has been at the top of the charts for several years. It has been my go-to pre workout supplement of choice since 2009. I have used a multitude of pre workout supplements over the years, with C4 by Cellucor being the most consistent product used for my training. This review of the NEW C4 will cover the following: - Taste/Flavor - Mix ability - Energy - Mental Focus - Stamina/Endurance - Pumps/Vascularity - Final Comments/Overall Rating I just want to make VERY CLEAR right off the bat that this review is from my own personal experience and use with the new 4th Generation C4. What you read about my experiences and opinions on this product are MY OWN. What I have experienced with this product could very well differ from the experiences you have had or will have with this product. This is simply what I experienced with the product and should be used as some useful information and insight on what you could expect should you decide to use this product. Let'Äôs get started. Taste/Flavor: Cellucor to me is synonymous with GREAT FLAVOR. I went into this assuming that little to no tweaking was done to the flavor formula as it was not mentioned as being one of the components that was improved with the 4th Generation version. The flavor I got to test drive was watermelon, and OH MY GOODNESS! I have reviewed Cellucor watermelon-flavored products before as having a 'ÄúJolly Rancher Watermelon'Äù like flavor, and with the 4th Gen Watermelon I was reminded of that vivid and SHARP taste! I don'Äôt know if it was because I had about a solid week of no pre workout supplement prior to taking the new G4 C4, but I felt that the flavor was very sharp, depending on the amount of water used. Over the course of two weeks I decided to vary the dosage as well as the ounces of water used to test the amount of watermelon flavor and its potency depending on how much was used. The following is the list of my personal findings with flavor and dosage: - 1 scoop & 6oz: Flavor is sharp, slight tartness pairs with the sweet jolly rancher flavor - 1 scoop & 4oz: Flavor is sharp, tartness VERY present that pairs with the sweet jolly rancher flavor - 1 scoop & 10oz: Flavor is still very much present, overall sweetness and taste is slightly muted - 1 scoop & 12oz: Flavor is still there, sweetness is still slightly present, no tartness present - 1.25 scoop & 6oz: Flavor is QUITE SHARP, Tartness very strong (which I like) & sweetness strong - 1.5 scoop & 10oz: Flavor is INTENSE, Tartness very present and commanding & sweetness strong - 2 Scoop & 10oz: HEAVEN. Tastes as if a bunch of Watermelon Jolly Ranchers were melted and consumed. A tasty and flavorful PUNCH IN THE MOUTH. Basically, if you stay in the 4oz to 10oz range with 1 scoop of G4 C4, you will notice a pleasant and strong flavor. I have found this to be the norm with EVERY flavor of C4 that I have tried (I have tried all of the 3rd generation flavors with the exception of Mojito as well as Orange Dreamsicle). This is me personally, but watermelon is one of my personal favorites when it comes to the various flavors Cellucor offers, so I am a little biased in this regard. DEFINITELY a Must have if you are a watermelon fanatic! RATING: 10/10 (Not sure if they improved the flavor formula, but I thought this was just ridiculously good!) Mix ability: If you are like me, and have taken numerous products by Cellucor, then you already know that with the exception of M5-RELOADED (Mass Builder Supplement), all of the brand'Äôs products mix extremely well and with little effort. Whether I mixed 1 scoop, 1.25 scoop, 1.5 scoop, or even the INSANE 2 scoops, the new 4th Generation C4 mixes very well ease. Even if you were to only use 4-6oz with 1.5 or 2 scoops, the powder blends very evenly within seconds! I used my new Vortex Blender 2.0 bottle for every dosage of G4 C4 that I took. I used it with the motorized attachment for power blending and I also used it without and simply swirled the mixture by hand. Both methods were effective and both yielded no particles or 'Äúfloaters'Äù as I like to call them, at the top of the liquid. IF, and I mean IF, you leave the blended mixture alone for a minute or two, there will be a little bit of particle settling at the bottom. This really is not a big deal to me, and should not be a big deal to you, since the particles are so small you will not notice them or feel them when you consume the mixture. Other than that, G4 C4 mixes EXTREMELY well with no clumping, muss or fuss! RATING: 10/10 (maybe a 9.5 if I felt the small particle settling at the bottom was an issue. But it'Äôs not.) Energy: Okay. Now down to what really matters: Does this product even work?! As far as my overall energy during my workouts while consuming this, I will go so far as to say that it definitely made a difference in my overall MAXIMAL energy. What I mean by this is that I always have energy when I train, largely due to the fact that I do not typically train in a fasted state (just my personal preference, and my body performs better with food in my system). HOWEVER, when I test drove the new C4 I did have several workouts in which I did not have any food in my system. I did not purposely plan this for the sake of seeing how my body responded, that'Äôs just how it happened. The surge of energy from this product definitely hit me on the days I was in a fasted state, but that is how the 3rd Gen C4 hit me too. Back to my MAXIMAL energy. This product really thrived in the aspect of MAINTAINING the energy I had in addition to the energy that the product gave me throughout the ENTIRE WORKOUT. YES, I felt ready to spend another 2 hours in the gym at the end of each of my workouts over these past two weeks. The addition of the 'ÄúTeaCor'Äù to the energy formula in this 4th Gen C4 I believe really plays a part in keeping the energy I have during my training both SUSTAINED and CONSTANT. I ended each and every workout strong and always had extra energy after the workout, which for some of my late night workouts was probably not a good thing as I had to wait a while to get to sleep (even though I am a night owl at heart). This energy (with the exception of 2 scoops, which made me feel like I could break doors in half) was very smooth. I prefer products that do not load up on the caffeine (talking 200+ mg amounts here), but rather utilize other ingredients to help assist with providing long, sustained energy, and G4 C4 DELIVERED in this regard. I would say the energy is still comparable to the 3rd Gen C4, but from my experience with this new 4th Gen, there is definitely a noticeable difference in the energy following me to the very end of each workout. RATING: 10/10 (I believe the new addition of TeaCor to the formula definitely plays a part in bringing out a more sustained and calm energy with this product) Mental Focus: Here is the one area where I was not really sure if the new C4 brought upon an improved mental focus for me. I have learned to really enter my own zone in terms of mental focus and fortitude when it comes to my training now, so I do not have a need to rely on a product to give me that 'Äúmental edge.'Äù The only product that really helped 'Äúlock in'Äù my mental focus and mood was the improved P6 BLACK, not a pre workout. I believe that the TeaCor and the Velvet Bean extract in the product formula could have helped to keep my energy sustained, which in turn could have also kept my mental focus steady and strong. In my fasted state workouts I did not feel mentally drained, so I believe that the new C4 could have played a role in my mental focus. Rating: 7.5/10 (I rated this low because I would need more time and experimentation to really assess the effect on my mental focus this product really could have) Stamina/Endurance: My overall stamina and endurance really goes hand in hand with my overall energy while I have been taking the new C4. My training program has heavy, low rep, compound exercises, along with days where I have reps that range from 8 all the way up to 20. These workouts have left me sore, but not once during my workouts did I feel as if I had to stop, give up, take a longer break, etc. G4 C4 really kept me going and going and going, energizer bunny style. When I took 1.5 scoop and 2 scoops as dosages, I was almost ready to jump into the next set (even on my heavy weight, low rep exercises) and had to remind myself to rest a little bit longer and not jump the gun! No doubt about it, my stamina and endurance was sustained and never dropped or quit before my training was completed. RATING: 10/10 (I kept going and going and going and going and felt as if I could have spent two more hours in the gym after each and every workout) Pumps/Vascularity: Right now, I'Äôm fat. Okay, Okay. I'Äôm not obese or mega overweight, but I have accumulated quite a bit of fat in my midsection as I have been basically dirty bulking for the past several months. My leanness is where my vascularity really shines, although my shoulders and upper pecs always seem to show the veins. So in terms of overall vascularity, I really did not notice any crazy roadmaps of veins or veins in places I didn'Äôt know I had veins, but I would definitely say 'ÄúTHE PUMPS WERE REAL.'Äù I felt my body pumped up and tight whether it was an upper body or lower body day. The pump lasted about 30 'Äì 60 min after my workout, but then soon diminished. RATING: 8/10 (Did not do much for vascularity, but overall pumps were noticeably felt EVERY workout) Additional comments/overall rating: Does the NEW C4 live up to the hype?! I would say it is not hype, but the improvements made to the formula are certainly noticeable. This isn'Äôt a NEW product in the sense that it is a completely new product in terms of formula, taste, effect, rather, it is an IMPROVED product than its predecessor. Personally, I would need more time to really test the boundaries of my 'Äútolerance'Äù to the product in order to assess the effectiveness of the TeaCor that was added to the formula. I LOVED the sustained energy that it gave me, the flavor and taste that quenched me, and the pumps that were very much felt with every workout. This product is DEFINITELY worth picking up, and is reasonably priced for what it provides. Cellucor definitely took the time and effort to bring an IMPROVED formula and an IMPROVED product! OVERALL RATING: 9.35/10

I won't be going into complete detail as I have learned all about ATP, energy systems, etc in College however one thing I found great about the C4 is that you won't feel any crash after training/workout. I felt the boost and noticed my training/workout lasted longer than normal. At first I thought this product seemed fairly expensive however when checking back through emails I paid £32 [£46 today] for 800g of SuperPump250 (40 servings) and £28 [£41 today] for 225g of Jack3d (40 servings) in 2009. Therefore this seems like relatively decent value at £19 for 30 servings. As I train in the morning before starting work I thought I'd try a pre-workout again to get me a bit more up for an early morning session. I found this stuff does the job, giving me a bit more mental energy when consumed 30 mins before workout. I found I got the satisfying 'pump' in my muscles around the middle to end of my workout, particularly in smaller muscle groups such as biceps/triceps/shoulders where you would tend to do to higher reps. A scoop of this contains around the same amount of caffeine as a 500ml can of an energy drink so it will certainly give you a wake up in the morning unless you are highly tolerant to caffeine. I now skip my morning coffee if I am taking this and I don't really feel the need for anymore caffeine throughout the day at work. Given the caffeine content it's probably not the best idea to take this if you intend to workout later in the day (or whenever you are close to sleeping).

In my personal opinion, the C4 Original product is OKAY. However, I just can't rate it any higher than a 6. Considering I get pre-workouts for the sole purpose of giving me a huge kick, I'm quite disappointed in the lack of kick and focus this gave me. I take it once or twice a week (so not enough to build up tolerance) and even with 2 scoops, it really doesn't make me feel any different. This definitely did not give me the "explosive energy" that it advertised it would, which kinda sucks to be honest... I have previously used other products like Grenade 50. Calibre, where the serving size is almost double and is much more potent. When I compare the two, C4 Original is completely out-matched in this department.
On the other hand, I have to give credit where it's due. The pumps this product gives are outstanding in comparison to the energy it gives me. The pump enhancers in this product are great and I notice quite a large difference in size when using it. With the extra endurance it gives me, I can push out a few extra reps which not only makes me feel proud but more importantly, swole as fuark. It definitely mixes well with other supplements like creatine, with very little lumps and even then I can probably blame the few lumps on my shaker. It also tastes as good as, if not better than any other pre-workout on the market (at least with the flavours I've tried). Also if you care, the packaging is pretty neat as you can peel off the top label to reveal another label detailing other products in the C4 pre-workout range.
This product is perfect for anyone as a starter pre-workout. Buying this and using it as your first ever pre-workout means you can get a good gauge of how much it effects you. If it's everything you look for and works for you, then great! Keep buying it. But if it simply doesn't fit your needs you can always buy a more potent pre-workout next time. However, if your anything like me I'd recommend buying C4 Ultimate instead as it is supposedly the most lethal pre-workout in the C4 range (saying that, I have never tried C4 Ultimate as it is not available in the UK but I will try it whenever I get the chance). Or, I'd recommend getting a totally different pre-workout altogether. I hope this helps!

For those of you who do not know, C4 by Cellucor is a Pre Workout Supplement (I'm sure most of you have heard of by now) that has been at the top of the charts for several years. It has been my go-to pre workout supplement of choice since 2009. I have used a multitude of pre workout supplements over the years, with C4 by Cellucor being the most consistent product used for my training. This review of the NEW C4 will cover the following: - Taste/Flavor - Mix ability - Energy - Mental Focus - Stamina/Endurance - Pumps/Vascularity - Final Comments/Overall Rating I just want to make VERY CLEAR right off the bat that this review is from my own personal experience and use with the new 4th Generation C4. What you read about my experiences and opinions on this product are MY OWN. What I have experienced with this product could very well differ from the experiences you have had or will have with this product. This is simply what I experienced with the product and should be used as some useful information and insight on what you could expect should you decide to use this product. Let's get started. Taste/Flavor: Cellucor to me is synonymous with GREAT FLAVOR. I went into this assuming that little to no tweaking was done to the flavor formula as it was not mentioned as being one of the components that was improved with the 4th Generation version. The flavor I got to test drive was watermelon, and OH MY GOODNESS! I have reviewed Cellucor watermelon-flavored products before as having a 'Jolly Rancher Watermelon' like flavor, and with the 4th Gen Watermelon I was reminded of that vivid and SHARP taste! I don't know if it was because I had about a solid week of no pre workout supplement prior to taking the new G4 C4, but I felt that the flavor was very sharp, depending on the amount of water used. Over the course of two weeks I decided to vary the dosage as well as the ounces of water used to test the amount of watermelon flavor and its potency depending on how much was used. The following is the list of my personal findings with flavor and dosage: - 1 scoop & 6oz: Flavor is sharp, slight tartness pairs with the sweet jolly rancher flavor - 1 scoop & 4oz: Flavor is sharp, tartness VERY present that pairs with the sweet jolly rancher flavor - 1 scoop & 10oz: Flavor is still very much present, overall sweetness and taste is slightly muted - 1 scoop & 12oz: Flavor is still there, sweetness is still slightly present, no tartness present - 1.25 scoop & 6oz: Flavor is QUITE SHARP, Tartness very strong (which I like) & sweetness strong - 1.5 scoop & 10oz: Flavor is INTENSE, Tartness very present and commanding & sweetness strong - 2 Scoop & 10oz: HEAVEN. Tastes as if a bunch of Watermelon Jolly Ranchers were melted and consumed. A tasty and flavorful PUNCH IN THE MOUTH. Basically, if you stay in the 4oz to 10oz range with 1 scoop of G4 C4, you will notice a pleasant and strong flavor. I have found this to be the norm with EVERY flavor of C4 that I have tried (I have tried all of the 3rd generation flavors with the exception of Mojito as well as Orange Dreamsicle). This is me personally, but watermelon is one of my personal favorites when it comes to the various flavors Cellucor offers, so I am a little biased in this regard. DEFINITELY a Must have if you are a watermelon fanatic! RATING: 10/10 (Not sure if they improved the flavor formula, but I thought this was just ridiculously good!) Mix ability: If you are like me, and have taken numerous products by Cellucor, then you already know that with the exception of M5-RELOADED (Mass Builder Supplement), all of the brand's products mix extremely well and with little effort. Whether I mixed 1 scoop, 1.25 scoop, 1.5 scoop, or even the INSANE 2 scoops, the new 4th Generation C4 mixes very well ease. Even if you were to only use 4-6oz with 1.5 or 2 scoops, the powder blends very evenly within seconds! I used my new Vortex Blender 2.0 bottle for every dosage of G4 C4 that I took. I used it with the motorized attachment for power blending and I also used it without and simply swirled the mixture by hand. Both methods were effective and both yielded no particles or 'floaters' as I like to call them, at the top of the liquid. IF, and I mean IF, you leave the blended mixture alone for a minute or two, there will be a little bit of particle settling at the bottom. This really is not a big deal to me, and should not be a big deal to you, since the particles are so small you will not notice them or feel them when you consume

One of the problems is that if you’ve already taken a lot of pre-workouts, it won’t make much of a difference, because your body is already used to and with too little caffeine may not have the desired effects. It tastes very good and seems to dissolve easily, visually it looks like there are undissolved parts and it doesn't help to want to drink. However, when you drink it seems to be completely dissolved and goes down smoothly. The initial pump of the product is very weak due to the lack of heavy stimulants, but it has a good durability, giving you energy for the next 4-5 hours. The taste, although citrusy, is not so chemical, but it resembles powder juice. You can easily mix it with juices, mainly grape and not taste it.

Taste can be quite sweet with some of their flavors. I use a large Blender Bottle so I can still use 1 scoop and add additional water to cut down the sweetness 2. Because of the high caffeine content you can feel a bit of a crash after the gym. I recommend cycling off C4 and switching to another brand once done the bottle before coming back to help with this Note: this contains creatine which not all preworkouts do which is an added bonus to your supplement game. C4 usually also comes in with competitive pricing under $1 / scoop.

It feels great working on a regimen and having the assistance of effects of C4. The name speaks for itself, this is loaded with ingredients to help boost focus and strength. I mix half a scoop in a full shaker bottle during my workout and i'm wired. Still taste great with more water to enjoy!
My goals carried into this next year are to shred down to a sculpted size. I ride motocross and my off season has started so it's time to have fun with the gym and see where I can go with my fitness goals.

The lid was always on so I’m not really sure what happened and I continued to use it but it grew increasingly difficult to chisel a bit off the more it solidified. I contacted Cellucor and they sent me out a replacement free of charge. Great customer service. However the next tub tasted different, the old flavour was much nicer but I assume they have changed the formula due to the fact it solidifies as I know someone else who had the exact same issue. As for the effectiveness of the product, I don’t really have anything to compare it to as it’s the only pre workout I have ever used but it certainly gives you a little buzz

Positives of the C4- unlike the ready made pre workouts in a can, you only mix this in with 200 ml of water- good for longer workouts so i'm not running to the toilet and thus disturbing my workout (then bumping into someone you know on way back into gym floor who suddenly wants a long chat) So no annoying toilet breaks. Also doesn't make me sweat like crazy, most pre workouts i feel completely wet and damp after. This was fine. A flat' drink that's better for me than a large carbonated can that makes me burp a good few times (gross and embarrassing at the gym/ in car) Negatives- Did nothing for my gym performance. No extra energy, motivation or ooomph to get going. After 5 min of drinking this my lips, face and hands were tingling. Medium tingle, more than a light tingle but not the worst i've had. Made lips sting a bit. Super annoying thing that seems so pointless. i would accept it if I got a lot (something even ) in return. Nope. Nocco doesn't do this at all by the way. All in all, just doesn't do what I want from a pre workout- no boost in anything at all. Like drinking water with the annoying tingles. Tastes very bad too.

Unfortunately this pre workout leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't experience any rush of energy or tingling sensation like I would with other brands, in fact I didn't feel any indication of the pre kicking in whatsoever. This is quite disappointing considering the pre workout I switched from is a lower caffeine dosage at 185mg/serving, whereas C4 sits at 200mg/serving and is frankly the inferior product! Perhaps I chose the wrong flavour but icy blue raspberry isn't particularly pleasant and is a nice healthy blue colour when mixed. I felt a rush of uncomfortable heat through my body some 30-40 mins after consumption. That's about the size of the experience I've had with this pre workout powder. With no benefits shown during workouts I can confidently say that this isn't worth your money, and you should look elsewhere.

I would definitely start with a little bit at a time, since some people may not respond well to some of the ingredients (including artificial sweeteners - one thing that’s nice about this product is that it’s very low in calories, but I know that the artificial sweeteners they use in place of sugar can upset sensitive stomachs). you There’s also no unpleasant jittery feeling that I get with some other preworkout powders, which is also nice. It can get pretty pricey, at about $25 for 30 servings at my local Target/Safeway, but you can sometimes find it for cheaper if you buy it on Amazon, especially in a larger package. This is a staple product in my workout routine now, and I’ll continue to buy it when it goes on sale!

I did go in the gym and worked out (CV day) but didn't feel much other than the tingling. At least I didn't fall asleep and managed to watch a film later too so maybe it just keeps you from falling asleep although when I did go to bed I had no problem going to sleep at all.
