items 3: content: I did get this for free, and did not have high hopes. However, I am not scared to write a bad review for a bad product. This is NOT THAT!
I was interested in it because it's a tint but has sunscreen, and I am admittedly horrible about using sunscreen because I am Italian/Greek. The older I get, the more I wish I cared more though. I see a lot of reviews that liked this with a beauty blender, I did not like it with a beauty blender at all! BUT-I put it on the back of my hand and used a fluffy brush and it is PERFECT!
I do not like the feeling of full coverage foundations on my face, especially when it is hot. If you put this on with a brush, you can kind of "air brush" it out until you're covered and even, but it's not annoying. It does not settle into lines/under eyes (my pet peeve!).
I never had to wear foundation before because I could get away with something lighter, but I am in my 30s now and this is my new go to! Just sort of blurs things out and makes everything look prettier and glowier without going full glam. It works really well by itself with mascara and a maybe a light blush if you want. I really love it. It is not quite as light as "my skin but better" but it's also not like going out in the sun and feeling like your face is melting off. I am a huge fan! If you have it and tried with a beauty blender (that's what I usually lean towards too!) try again with a fluffy brush. It's way prettier!

My current go-to BB & CC creams are both in the $40+ range, so this is such an exciting find. It is a thin consistency, but still manages to cover uneven skin tone and blemishes. Except for under-eye brightener, I actually can go without concealer, which never happens with my splotchy mature skin. It truly is a "my skin but better" product. I like to blend it out with a brush for a sheer first layer and then use my fingers in spots that need a little more coverage. I was a bit concerned about the glow factor, but it is not at all glittery, just a subtle glowy "lit from within" look. That being the case, I see myself using this from autumn to spring - I like a matte finish in the summer since I tend to be on the oily side when it's hot. Nevertheless, I'm so happy I've found this! It is such an awesome product, at a really great price point. It's proof that you don't need to spend a lot to get a high quality product. If you're on the fence, definitely give it a try.

I’m currently the shade 2 Fair Warm. It does not oxidize into an orange tint, it does not have an odd smell, it blends incredibly well (with fingers, brush or beauty blender), is lightweight with the perfect amount of coverage, and the kicker: it lasts forever! I wore this on my long morning walks in 80° heat (lots of sweating!), and it did not budge. I was so impressed. I also have very sensitive and acne prone skin (combo skin) and have not broken out from this! I am so grateful to have received this free product in exchange for a review. I found yet another e.l.f. product that I love. Halo glow skin tint for the win!

If you're looking for a skin tint that is thin with barely any coverage - this is not the product for you. This skin tint definitely resembles foundations in terms of thickness with medium coverage but is easy blendable and can sheer out for a more natural finish.
I have oily skin but don't find that this product feels greasy or emphasized my texture. I have worn it for up to 5 hours before I begin to notice oil productions.
For me, this is a win. I has enough coverage to coverage more acne, skincare benefits including spf 50 and it works well with the rest of my makeup.

I used two shades: 5 Light Warm all over, and 8 Medium Natural as a soft bronzer. Both adjusted beautifully to my skin tone.
The finish is glowy but never greasy — skin still looks like skin (freckles show through!), while redness and uneven tone are toned down.
The wear time really surprised me: it didn’t settle into pores or fade, and it stayed in place all day.

Honestly I really like how lightweight the supplies and it's easy to build it up and looks very nice underneath my concealer and powder. I feel like my foundation and concealer under my eyes and around my chin creases less wearing this and my face does look more dewy throughout the day. I have combo skin, with a very oily T-zone but dry under eyes and this sits perfectly all over with an even finish and held up nicely with my more oily sections.
Perfect if you want just a light covering just to cover any blemishes or if you want to build it up free full face coverage. It does a plain nicely with a sponge and a brush, but for me personally I feel like it applies better with a dense foundation brush.

I dont know if its a mixture of my skin prep or just the tint alone. Ive had it on for several hours, close to 7. I keep getting compliments. I see it settling into fine lines now but it still looks so beautiful & lumionous. Yea, you can see my wrinkles but youd see them with $50+ dior foundation too. I absolutely will repurchase based on the look of the skin tint after HOURS in and out of the AZ sun, and the way my other products worked with it. I might ditch foundation forever. I hope this skin tint continues to be the best, because i love it after the firsr wear.

I prep my skin with moisturizing products and some mattyfying ones such as a primer and powder. I have used it with different powders and it it holds up very well. it is glowy but the powders tone it down and the shine does not come through which I dont mind. I have used the AF, loreal, lys powders and all work well. I also dont notice any significant transfer on my phone which is how I can often tell when the foundation transfers. So far so good. it does not settle or feel heavy. It's a bit pricey for drug store but it works better than some high end products for me so its a win!

But I do use the ELF Camo Powder Foundation lightly on top because I have very oily skin. This color is flexible I can wear light cool, light neutral and light warm. I don’t really need any concealer when I wear this unless I’m wanting a more soft glam look. I would say in my opinion is is a great product just use some setting or foundation powder if you’re oily ti set it. Its a thinner liquid than my previous brand, and I prefer that as it doesn't cake up or show my pores like other thicker lotions do. This covers well, hides my undereye circles and evens my skin tone really well. It gives a fresh dewy look that I love. I do think it only lasts a few hours, after that I notice it has worn off around my nose and cheek area, but its usually by the time I'm done running errands or whatever I need to do. I didn’t mind the coverage level though and appreciate that it had SPF. You definitely need to prep your skin well as it will cling to dry patches. You can apply this with fingers but I prefer a sponge for a better finish. This does oxidize a bit so keep that in mind when selecting a shade. Honestly not as glowy as I expected on first application but after it warmed up it looked great. I received this in the mail to test for my honest opinion.

The formula is on the thicker side, so it has more of a medium coverage. I personally prefer something a bit lighter but coverage is great so I can’t complain. It held up well for about 8 hours or so (I did set it with powder and spray.)
I love the glow the product gives off, it helps wake my skin up and is great for a quick on the go look. It helps cover redness and doesn’t accentuate my pores.

Now that we are coming into those summer months being protected is first, but behind that is wanting to look and feel great about ourselves. I have combination skin and have tried other products that would either feel to thick and cakey, break me out or the shades would not match. With the Halo Glow Tint it's lightweight, very build able and can also be worn either by itself for that glowy/dewy natural look or go with a full glam face! I'd recommend over any of the other products, yes even the high end stuff!
