They have quality watches for all types of price ranges. They as good as a Rolex based on their longevity and style. Even though some people may say Rolex uses more quality parts, that is not my concern, my concern is that if I am able to give my Seiko watch to my son then the parts have enough quality! I am just referring to the less expensive watches that Seiko has, but when you look at Grand Seiko, I believe it matches up with Rolex, just as good or even better! I believe in Japanese watch engineers and their artistry - they are unique at what they do! That is why I like Seiko!

detailedReviews 2: content: So decades ago I bought a Seiko SBJ125 which was very similar to this auto Sport 5 stainless. I was young and started a full time job and after my first paycheck, I bought the SBJ125. Wore it for years and years. Made more money and bought several very expensive watches, but I always loved my SBJ125. Still have it and sits in my safe. Fast forward to today and I recently bought my Sport 5. Great watch, looks awesome, and I wear it everyday. Only issue is the bottom of the wings that flank the crown are really sharp and cut into the top of my wrist/hand. Thinking of using a fine file and knock them down a bit. It’s very uncomfortable and if I don’t file them, I may return it. Try on before you buy.

John Lewis brought the price down to 'price match' which made it even more appealing. The staff in-store were helpful and fitted it to my size by removing two of the links. I'm really pleased with the watch and it looks great on.

detailedReviews 10: content: I own or have owned various SKXs over the years. This version, the SRPD61, comes with a green dial and bezel and looks really good in various light conditions. The SRPD is the SKXs successor and while having the same case shape and similar specs its missing a few key elements that would have made this a better watch. 1. With only 100 m WR and no screw down crown, this is its biggest miss. While most people dont go diving with their watches its just good to know you can! 2. Bracelet clasp is bulky and I miss the jangly bracelets that were on the SKX. Overall, for $300 its decent value and will please a lot of people. However, every time I wear it I cant help but think of my SKX but I suppose thats not a bad thing. Cheers!
