One of our cats, Wolfie the Maine Coon, is a big fan of over-doing the covering up of his business, thus throwing litter out of all four corners of our old standard pan-style box. As much as we love him, the cleanup there was making us insane. We even got a really huge litter mat and he'd STILL manage to fling litter all over, and scratching up our old, beloved hardwood floor. With this super cute jump-in litter box, he can cover-up his biz til his heart's content and fling litter all over inside the box and not a single piece escapes. This box has also kept the dust level down in our house, which is also extremely appreciated. 10/10 from two very picky cats (Beans, age 4, we were afraid she wouldn't take to this new style ans she did instantly!) and a very picky Mom & Cat Dad.

It did take them a day or two to get used to entry via the top but soon started to use it more than their old box. No more peeing over the side of the box or flipping litter outside the box, its reduced the amount of litter on the floor almost 100%. It looks and feels very sturdy and durable, and it's also very easy to open for cleaning purposes, and any litter on the top falls back into the box. Highly recommended!

They didn’t want to use the new litter box at first but I just had to put some of the old litter in there so they had their scent there then they were fine with using it. Sometimes the lid falls in when it’s open and I’m cleaning it but it hasn’t fallen in while the cats use it and one of my cats is 14 lbs so it’s sturdy enough. The front plastic cat nose part would get jammed through sometimes, I think the cats were using the corner to jump up to the window. I just had to move the box away from the window and it hasn’t jammed since.

It takes two seconds to assemble, and I like that there are perforated holes on the top to help the litter go back into the container. I also like the cute button that secures the top so it doesn't fly open. Will probably replace my other tall side litter boxes with this!

I also have a very picky older cat and he's adapted to this one easily. It's also much cuter than by other top entry boxes. However, it's not quite as large as the The ExquisiCat litter box but my cats don't mind and I would rather look at the Catit box.

I did have to transition my fuzzy feline to this model because she enters from the top, a hop up, rather than entering from the front. She has adapted very well. Very ease to clean and virtually no tracking. I use the Pea Husk litter to go with and I've noticed no smell. I do sift through litter several times daily, out of love and to keep clean. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

All I know is the outdoor cat hasn’t pooped on the floor since I bought this so I am hoping he has been using it lol. I love the way the lid works as a litter tracking device but also lifts up conveniently to clean the litter. I was afraid my toddler would throw toys in since it has a big opening but that has not happened thankfully, and I can just peek in the hole to check how bad litter needs cleaning.
