items: items 1: content: Likely the best bang for your buck value if you want to play modern titles (Marvel Rivals, Horizon Zero Dawn) for a reasonably portable and reasonably cool device. I’ve had this for a few months now and I’ve yet to run into any major issues. Here are some of my favorite features:
Design - sleek, matte gray finish, matte display, screen size, rear ports - This laptop delivers on gaming performance while still appearing work-friendly. My favorite, FAVORITE thing ended up being the matte finish. My last laptop was a black ASUS and that drove me nuts! This will look cleaner and likely last longer. As an added bonus that some may prefer, most of the essential ports are on the back—so for example, your charger won’t hang off the side and get in the way of the keyboard (unless you’re charging thru USB C).
Function - USB C charging, upgradeable - It is especially convenient to have one cable for most of my devices, and this feature seems to be uncommon on gaming laptops. Also, easy future proofing is included! You can upgrade the RAM slots and there is an additional empty SSD slot.
Minor Drawbacks… considering price to performance, my personal gripes may not bother you:
Design - No left-facing ports? Still hefty, no smaller options - 5 pounds is decent, but the aluminum Legion somehow manages a pound less. And this is more of a pipe dream than a gripe with this model—but I would love an LOQ designed in the same vein as the Legion Slim! 14.5in is especially a great screen size for balancing portability and visibility. But it’s hard to argue with the standard 15.6in of this LOQ. My confusion with the design is that for whatever reason, all available ports are on the back.. and then a few are scattered only on the right side. I feel that one more USB C on the left would have been perfect!
Function - Battery Life, just falls short in number of ports - Regarding battery life, that is just an unfortunate side effect to gaming laptops, but this one runs low especially quick! Always keep a charger nearby.
Overall, I do still love this laptop, and expect to use it for years to come. This has a great design and although it’s not necessarily cheap, it is a really good price for a powerful gaming laptop!

items 2: content: Not a big gamer, but a fan of the specs and price point on this laptop for work and music production. Build quality is solid, though I hear the chassis scratches very easily, so I’ve been careful with that. I do wish it came with a 1tb SSD, as 512gb just doesn’t seem quite enough in 2025.
I’ve only had it for about a month, but everything is smooth and running efficiently (knock on wood). When running a new-ish game, the fans definitely spin up pretty loud. Not alarmingly, but they make themselves known.
Battery is pretty mediocre as it’s only 60w, but I know this is a common complaint. I’m almost always near power or docked at my desk, so this hasn’t been an issue yet. I did check estimated time remaining on power saver mode, and from 100%, it was estimated around 4-4.5 hours. The 7435HS has no integrated GPU, so the 4060 is always on, which doesn’t help battery life. Again, not something super critical for my application.
I know it isn’t the best screen you can buy, but I didn’t expect it to be. And for my purposes, it looks great. Details are sharp, colors look good, refresh rate helps everything look smooth.
I’ve read complaints about the speakers, but it’s a laptop. If I’m doing anything where audio quality is important, I’m wearing headphones anyway.
Overall a solid laptop for its price point - time will tell if it remains reliable.

items 3: content: Note: I'm not a gaming computer expert so sorry if I sound silly.
I've only had the laptop for several weeks now and so far, I've been surprised with how well it runs most of my games. I've tested it with games like Halo, Team Fortress 2, Splitgate, Kingdom Come, etc. These games were running in mid-high settings and that was with the basic performance setting on for the laptop.
The biggest thing I like about the laptop is how simple it looks. I feel like I could bring this out in public and I won't get weird looks. It's simple, doesn't have any RGB stuff inside, and doesn't attempt to make it look flashy.
The overall frame/case of the laptop is good. It is primarily a hard plastic that might handle a couple drops (haven't tested this). It doesn't bend and it feels sturdy.
The built-in Lenovo software is also somewhat useful. I've tested other products with their built-in gaming software and often it is a little overwhelming and hard to look at. Lenovo keeps it simple and has basic options to boost performance, which is nice for me.
Overall, the laptop has some great qualities, but there are a few issues.
Issues:
1. The battery isn't great. At most, it could probably last 4 and half hours, and that's if you don't do anything computationally heavy like playing a game. I've checked and you can't upgrade the battery, The only real redeeming quality for the battery is that it recharges quickly and the charging port is in the back (which is convenient).
2. The screen could be a little better. While it is HD and simple, I've noticed it could randomly lag depending on what is on screen. Not the hugest issue.
3. The laptop is almost a tank. It is heavy and bulky. I know most gaming laptops are like this, but this seems excessive compared to other laptops I've looked at.
4. Like any other gaming laptop, the fan is loud.
I think if you find this laptop on sale and it fits your budget, you should get it. It runs well and most of the issues I stated above aren't the hugest issues for a budget gaming laptop. I hope Lenovo releases a better battery soon.

items 4: content: I've been looking for a budget gaming laptop right before Black Friday, there's just so many to choose from! My budget was 600-800 but even in this range you've got a lot of options.
Pros:
* Price - I've got this during Black Friday so it was 300 bucks off. Can't beat this!
* Graphics card - Not many (in this price range) comes with RTX 4060
* Memory - Already comes with 16GB that's a plus.
* Additional m.2 slot - Score! For additional storage space
* Upgradeable - easy to swap new m.2 or memory should you decide to upgrade
* Built-in Ethernet - not that I use this a lot but it's the thought that counts!
* Speed - it's fairly fast for the $$$, memory and disk could improve the score even higher. Check passmark scores for details
Cons
* Battery - Plenty of people pointed this out, this battery is horrible! Rated at 3789mAh
* Memory - Not the fastest at 4800 MT/s
* Disk - Not complaining about 512GB size but the speed is below average at best. It's a Micron 2400 m.2 gen4 actual read speed is up to 4,200 MB/s with write speed up to 1,800 MB/s
* Single USB-c port - Seriously, really?? A hub is a must!
* Bulky power supply - Typical but you can get a smaller / lightweight 100W USB-c charger from Anker for 24 bucks. I use this when traveling.
* Weight - yes this thing is heavy!
* Fan Noise - Oh boy, if you're gaming hard the fans will kick in high gear (along with the noise)
Wrap-up - I'm happy with the purchase, it's not the perfect laptop but what is. Yes battery is an issue if you're traveling, just make sure you're close to an outlet and you're good! If you can get this during a sale, go for it!

items 5: content: Performance:superb
Performance: Fast and can run at high graphic games smoothly.
Build: Personally to me it felt quite sturdy.
Temperature: On idle gpu temp usually 38-44. Meanwhile on gaming the highest gpu temp I noticed was 70+. Note that your games may differ from my games.
Battery: Since it does not have i-gpu and use the main gpu, it drain so quick. But for my situasion where my laptop rarely change location and always plug in. I can take the setback in exchange for value.
Misc: Exhaust position suit my taste, cool on the sides. 3 port A, okayish amount. Headphones jack easy to detect and use. White keyboard lighting is too bright for me in the dark. For the weight, I think it is acceptable for flight with charger brick included, if you need bring a lot more things in the bag I guess it is still cannot beat more thin or other lightweight laptop.

items 6: content: Let me tell you thing: for the $700 sale that BestBuy has this laptop is perfect for this price. I'm not going to go in to specs you can look in the item's description. The cons are: the screen is I think 300 nits brightness or so that means the best place to play is in a "dark" room. Also the screen is 1080P I wished it was 1440P but hey it's $700. The big pros are: being able to upgrade. I upgraded the ram from 16GB to 32GB and rams are cheap. There is an additional empty NVME slot so I put in a 4TB. Again NVME is cheap compared to "Apple" lol I guess you can put more than 4 TB. So yes you can upgrade. Don't expect high frame rates although the graphic series is the 4000s but it is only the 4060. Remember this is not a laptop to take without charger! This is a portable laptop that although it is portable it needs the charger. If you need a really portable laptop look for something else.

items 7: content: Competitive gaming performance, but lacks on battery life due to not having iGPU(integrated) and has subpar speakers(as do most budget laptops). If your goal is endurance this may not be the one for you, but as a plug-in this laptop may surprise you. To make for an even better performer upgrade RAM 32gb(16x2)DDR5 5600mhz SODIMM and 500gb-1tb PCIe Gen4 NVMe 2280 M.2 SSD on available 2nd open slot as I did, then you're in the game of a mid-high rig while still within a good budget. Stays fairly cool open or with lid shut under load, which I haven't found the need for a cooling pad. I opted for this laptop myself knowing I plan to run plugged and with my budget in mind made for the best option having an RTX 4060 8gb and FHD 144hz refresh rate 300nits at this price point(or better, on sale + excellent open box = steal). With that being said I recommend this laptop keeping these points in mind.

items 8: content: This product is great! It's fast, runs well, and is just such a great laptop. The rear usb and LAN connections work are a nice touch. The Levono Advantage app that come with the laptop allows you to set different fan speeds for Quiet, Balanced, and Performance. It also gives you an update to the wear and tear of each component inside of the computer.
My only complaints would be the battery life(which is expected from a gaming laptop. It does, however, charge incredibly quickly, so if it is running out of juice, it won't take too long to charge back up), storage size, and probably the power cable connector. Its on the back right next to the usb, so when its dark and I can't see the labels, I have tried to cram it in the usb port.

title: Great performance, fast charging, limited ports

items 9: content: Careful potential buyers. This particular CPU, the AMD Ryzen™ 7 7435HS, does not have integrated graphics. This means that the laptop will always run on its discrete graphics, the rtx 4070 mobile, and consequently it will consume a lot of power, rendering this laptop not so mobile without its charger. Also, these days, on a 15.60" laptop I expect a better display. I find this 1920 x 1080 resolution quite small, especially for only 144 Hz refresh rate and 300 cd/m².
I would recomend to avoid this laptop, unless it specifically address your needs and compromises that you are wiling to take, although I suggest to look elsewhere.

items 10: content: The laptop is excellent overall—fast, high quality, and well-built.
Pros:
Great performance right out of the box; no need for upgrades.
Specs are more than enough to keep it running smoothly for a few years.
Screen and audio are noticeably above average.
Storage might be limited for some users, but it's acceptable for general use.
Cons:
*The Ryzen processor delivers great performance but it does not have integrated graphics. As a result, the system always runs on the dedicated RTX 4060 GPU.
This has a major impact on battery life—expect a maximum of around 3 hours.
defenity i will recommend it unless battery life is import for you. if i have to give a score , would be 8 of 10

items 11: content: Bought this a few months ago looking for a laptop that would support The Sims (+mods) along with some other casual/cozy games as well as daily use for watching TV and work and I'm very satisfied. It runs games so smoothly and the screen has great quality. Only complaints are that the battery isn't the best, I keep it plugged in pretty much all the time, and like others have said, the fan is pretty loud. Otherwise, I'm really happy. My family is planning a day to play Peak together soon and I'm really excited to have a computer that can run it, unlike my old one. Highly recommend!

items 12: content: I’m really happy with my Lenovo LOQ 15.6" Gaming Laptop! The Ryzen 7 processor and RTX 4060 GPU handle games smoothly at high settings, and the 144Hz FHD display makes gameplay crisp and responsive.
The design is sleek, and the cooling system works well even during long sessions. The 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD ensure fast performance, and it’s upgradeable, which is a plus.
Battery life is average for a gaming laptop, but overall, it’s a great value for gamers and power users alike. Highly recommended!
