snippets: battery life on the pixel 9 has been good not great battery life but not worst either for my normal usage it lasted me throughout the day with like 15 to 20% left towards the end of the day so I have to charge it in the night or when I wake up in the morning basically I got all day battery life with the pixel 9 charging is kind of slow on the pixel 9 as compared to other Android flagships out there it is not fast at all it will take over an hour to charge the smartphone completely which honestly is not a good experience and you don't get a charger inside the box that is also sad but there is wireless charging and reverse wireless charging as well that is something that I appreciate

snippets: so let's see if we got some juice out of the box and of course we do so we'll got that animation booted up and uh oh Gemini little logo there hence the AI That's inside this phone uh so let me go ahead and get this um kind of started and booted up and then I will be right back all right so so got the phone all booted up here now of course you're seeing a lot of grayed out apps here just due to the fact that it is still going through the motions of everything but here it is this is the pixel 9 and uh so far guys just playing around with it as it's been um you know doing its thing getting everything going absolutely loving this phone so far like I love the way it fills in my hand of course I'm probably going to have a a case on it but I just love these flat edges I love the rounded Corners here all that the the screen looks super good um the colors are very vibrant uh of course it's a an you know HD display here but it's flat and I absolutely love it and once again it does have the Corning Gorilla Glass victus 2 so that's on the front and back but of course on the back it is that polished you know high gloss look here with the more Satin matted finish on the sides like I said earlier, one thing uh about this is that it is a 6.3 in display which I absolutely love uh it's their new actua display that can get up to 2700 nits in brightness with a pixel 9 uh 1,800 nits with HDR content uh we do get 120 HZ uh display here

I guess I don't really see a real genuine use for this other than just messing around.

snippets: I've also noticed that the phone tends to heat up when using Android auto especially on hot days this leads to noticeable UI lag and a drop in refresh rate impacting overall performance even though it is colder here in Canada right now the pixel line still gets warm to the touch when you're using extensively but again I can already tell that when the summer days are approaching this thing is not going to hold up that well and this brings me to the conversation about tensor G4 because in a lot of ways it is very very similar to tensor g3's performance and in no way can compete with qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite in something like the OnePlus 13 so yeah it's pretty safe to say that Google is falling behind the competitors and I just don't think that that's acceptable when they're charging $800 to $1,000 for the Pro Models because these phones share the exact same chip I mean the price simply doesn't justify the user experience, I've barely used Reimagine, which allows you to use AI to add things into a photo, Pixel Studio, which allows you to create images from a prompt, or Magic Eraser, which allows you to remove objects from an image., I also haven't used Add Me, which allows you to add someone into an image by taking a second image in the same location and using AI to stitch them together.
