snippets: now let's see how they perform underneath makeup okay let's switch it up a little bit and this time let me start with my favourite for underneath makeup and that is the Nivea men cream yep Nivea men cream I know how ridiculous that sounds but yes actually Nivea men cream is my favorite for underneath I would say like maybe this is like a slash primer moisturizer slash primer why I already talked about sensor characteristics and this one really does create that sticky finish and what that sticky finish does is it creates a great base for your foundation to stick to and then your makeup I mean it looks amazing and it's going to probably last a little bit longer because of that primer effect so Nivea man is my favorite for underneath makeup but that does not mean that the other Nivea's are bad on contrary other Navy creams are also great underneath makeup but it depends on your skin type if you have really really dry skin like severely dry skin you're going to love the original Nivea cream for underneath me the only downside is that you will have to wait for like an hour before applying makeup because if that's create that's greasy overlay on top of your skin and what I like to do is I really wait an hour before applying makeup and then I go over my face with a dampened Beauty Blender to pick up the excess of the grease layer and right after that I go straight in with foundation and the foundation looks amazing luminous glowy your skin will not look dry and one more plus is that you can set your face with lots of powder you can literally go ham on the powder and your skin is still going to look glowy and dewy and radiant okay then we have the Nivea soft moisturizing cream and the Nivea care nourishing cream they are somewhat similar as far as the makeup application goes the moisturize your face really well and you don't really have to wait a lot before applying makeup maybe half an hour is enough so the only crucial difference here is that one is not that coming to genic and the other one can break you out so that brings me to the last category and that is how committed genic are these creams so let's start with the most common generic cream of them all and that is the Navy a soft moisturizing cream so believe it or not this one has nine comedogenic ingredients with one of those ingredients being a highly comedogenic ingredient so because of that if I was acne prone or oily I wouldn't mess around with this one really so be warned
