It filled up nicely & still left room for souvenirs to bring home if needed! Very durable & definitely waterproof as the day we packed to come home was like hurricane weather! If I had to say one negative it was the smell of the bag when we 1st opened it, but aired it out for 2 days & a little febreeze and it was great! Highly recommend this purchase!!!

It was raining when we arrived at the hotel so the fact it's water repellent was a real bonus. I bought the grey which looks smart and modern. Only slight downside is the black lining - a lighter colour would make things easier to find. And it's just one big compartment, no side pockets. Nevertheless, it's functional and stylish. I'd recommend.

detailedReviews 6: content: We are currently on safari and in the lead up to our trip, I had purchased one (Sand colour). We are very constrained on the weight of our luggage due to commutes with smaller planes and as such had to pack very efficiently. The Hilo Weekend Bag (Medium) checks all the boxes for our trip, so much so, that when my wife saw my Rains purchase, she has to have one too.
Side note, I am a Rains repeat customer using their backpack as my daily commute carry-all.

detailedReviews 7: content: The quality seems good, haven’t tried the shoulder strap yet. Plenty of room for everything for a few nights away. Even managed to fit my hairdryer and straighteners . The addition of an inside pocket would be useful and that’s the only reason I haven’t given 5 stars although I did know there wasn’t one when I ordered it so perhaps a bit harsh.

detailedReviews 8: content: I love this bag. I bought the matte black one with the powder white strap. It is aesthetic, functional, and super spacious. I wanted to upgrade my old travel bag into something that had a little more weight distribution. Although it looked smaller, it holds the same amount and the quality is excellent. It does get dirty fast on TSA belts!! I recommend buying the cleaner too.
