The 4 stars given instead of 5 is solely based on the fact that it is a finicky product. If the product is exposed to too much heat during shipping (to personal residence or store) the product degrades. You can tell the product is not good anymore based on appearance. It should be clear but if the product is cloudy it’s bad. I have had to return quite a few and struggled to find viable alternatives in store. Otherwise I love this product. My eyebrows are stubborn and slightly curly so I’ve been struggling to find a brow Brodick that could actually tame them without creating white flakes. This works like an absolute dream! I found the trick for me was finding the right balance between using enough product but not too much. If you use too much the product doesn’t dry properly and won’t hold as well. One thing I have learnt is that the ABH applicator brush is just as important as the actual product itself - it allows you to scoop out a small amount (you don't need much!) and wipe it across the brows, then the spooly end to brush through them and shape. Putting a spooly straight into the gel gets WAAAY too much product on your brows and results in the 'white' clumps a lot of the reviews on here seem to mention. You don't get that if you get the applicator brush. I couldn't be without this!

First things first: if you don’t practice proper hygiene with this product, you run the risk of it going moldy. I don’t do anything crazy, I just take the clean end of a capped brow pencil to scoop a bit of product out, scrape it on the back of my hand, then that’s what I dip my spoolie into. If you dip a dirty applicator into this component it WILL become a petri dish. Also make sure you’re closing the lid TIGHT after every use. Second: less is more. This is a very thick product, if you go in heavy handed it’s going to get crusty and flake on you. You’re still going to get a very long wear out of this with a small amount, it lasts me alllll day long and my brow hairs don’t budge. Onto the positives: this is the longest wearing, budge-proof brow gel I’ve ever used. If you don’t go overboard, it can provide the most lovely, sculpted-but-fluffy brow. It’s the easiest way to shape my brows beautifully every time. The performance of this formula is outstanding and reliable, so I know I’ll get gorgeous brows every time I use it.

Something that I have heard about time and time again though, is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Brow Styling Wax. I was lucky enough to get a full-sized jar of it with my "Holiday Must-Haves" Set from Sephora. This wax is a little different from the other brow products that I have used. When I first opened the jar I had to do a double-take, because it looks like there's nothing even in there. It's a clear, sticky wax that gives you that great laminated-brow look. You want to use a tool with a spoolie on one end and a brush on the other to apply this product. In other words, a typical brow-product-type applicator. You use the spoolie end to first tap a small amount of the wax onto the lid of the jar. Then you apply a tiny amount of the wax to the tip of the spoolie and work it into your brow, pushing upwards as you go. Finally, you take the flat, metal part of the brush end of your tool and shape your brows to how you desire them. It may sound much more complicated than it really is. It was actually very easy to work with! It didn't dry out, flake, or anything along those lines, especially while I was working with it. The wax was easy to mold the way I wanted it, and my eyebrows looked pretty decent the first time that I applied it. It lasted all day, no problem. This has actually even ended up being one of my new favorite brow products! What it is, is an easy-to-use styling wax that lifts, tames and sculpts every hair with extreme hold. It's your secret to feathered, locked-in brows. Free of parabens. It is also cruelty-free, which is very important to me. Set every hair in place without a still feel, residue, or flaking for the feathered brows you've always wanted. This universal, easy-to-apply wax is mess-free and provides extreme hold, leaving you with full-bodied brows that last all day. If you want great looking brows, this is an easy great way to start. My eyebrow hairs are quite long and i have been using a spoolie and hairspray for ever to tame them - it kinds works but not really. Then i tried this! This made them look fluffy and laminated and kept them exactly the same ALL DAY! Its incredible - also doesnt make them feel stiff like hairspray does. I am unsure why people are claining mould or cloudy product in the jar but I do suspect it may be a hygiene issue. I feel the best way to use this is not to put the spoolie into the jar and definitely do not double dip. I use the flat end of the spoolie to put just a small bit onto the lid and then dip the spoolie end into that and put onto my eyebrows. clean both ends straight after and the product stays clear and brand new!
I also have not noticed any flakiness or cloudy eyeborows as some people have mentioned either, maybe they are using too much product? you really only need a tiny bit - a little definitely goes along way with this product.
I have only been using for a short while but will add to my review later if i find the mouldy cloudy issue some people have said at a later stage. But right now - this is for sure something I'll keep using for as long as i have eyebrows!

Well it is somewhat similar but it's not the same! The Anastasia gel brow freeze is quite a bit more powerful when it comes to holding those brows in place so use very very sparingly! A little bit goes a long way! It surely doesn't take much so when u aren't aware of this fact and go in liberally with the product you most certainly will find yourself with some pretty white looking eyebrows and it's equivilant to having ur hair done at an 80s beauty pageant in Texas. Your hair full of extra ultra super hold hair gel along with a healthy layer or 20 of Aussie or Aqua Net hairspray at close range and then deciding to take a comb or brush to that hair once it's good and dry. All the residue from the product cakes up and turns into a stiff white dust like material...that WILL occur in ur eyebrows so GO EASY! As long as u remember it doesnt take much to get the job done u will be absolutely obsessed with how long ur brows stay in one place however u shaped them in the a.m. they will b in the same position by the time u get ready to hit the remover wipes before bed. It's the best thing since clear mascara for eyebrows and it lasts a whole lot longer! Its foolproof, and beginner friendly so don't be spooked because it seems unfamiliar. Not only does it keep brows appearance groomed and in check. It gives a natural appearance after you're done painting them on. Almost removes any excess product that we sometimes miss penciling them in. I couldnt stand the way my hairs would drag downward or sparse ones upward it drove me bonkers. I can now skip the bar of soap hassle, and still benefit the "soap brow" trend! It really works as described, keeping my eyebrows firmly in place and lasts all day. In my early days of experimenting, I laminated them down using the flat end of the spoolie but it was much more of a drastic look than a gentle fluff up without pressing them down so I've been doing that now as my go-to. This has done wonders for my making my brows look thicker/fuller and I am getting compliments on them nonstop. Will definitely be buying again when mine runs out! Pro tip: I bent my spoolie at a 40 degree angle (or so) because the angle of application from the container is a bit awkward. That worked like a charm and it should help ensure every last bit of the product is used up before discarding. The only negative I have is if you put on your foundation/concealer around your brows before applying, you may get a little bit of flakiness in your brows as you apply the Brow Freeze. I think it just takes a bit of practice to keep your make up from getting right up to your brows and then you're all set. Can always touch up afterwards! I also wash my spoolie after applying to keep it clean from build-up and flake-free.

Then I remembered, if there's one thing Anastasia Beverly Hills knows, it's BROWS! Of course she would have the best brow wax! The way you only need the littlest amount and the brows stay exactly where they're placed. Or the way the brows don't look or feel "crunchy" or cakes with product to get them to stay laid. I tried a couple different brow pencils with it too, just to see how it would perform. Of course the Anastasia brow pencil glided smoothly across the dried way, Huda Beauty Brow pencil glided smoothly, Benefit brow pencils glided perfectly with the wax. I even tried it with a couple drug store brow pencils too, just to make sure. The E.L.F. brow pencil performed beautifully with the way, a NYX brow pencil, a Maybelline brow pencil, all applied and laid beautiful with the wax. Each and every time I had beautiful, feathered brows that lasted the entire day. Then at the end of the night, the wax came out with my face balm with no hesitation. Not a single brow hair lost, damaged or removed through the entire process. I'm so glad I got to try this brow wax! I plan to use the entire pot and stock up on more when it runs out! This brow wax is now a staple in my brow routine!

I have never how do use so little product on my eyebrows. This is a wonderful product. It is so amazing no flakiness it holds all day not only that it's soft and silky to the touch it doesn't feel super hard and you really don't need very much of the product at all. VERY LITTLE. I'm not an expert in full face make-up, but I almost am in eyebrows after experimenting with it for some time. I always had very spare brows that stand outwards, which results in looking like nothing. I always switch and try new products and styles. I love doing that because I love make-up, but I also secretly hope to find "it" someday. Something that looks good and doesn't take lots of steps and time. Which is something that feels achievable and logical to people with fuller brows. But if you have spare ones and try them to look present without looking silly or like a overkill, you know what I mean. When I tried the soapbrow for the first time I already was very convinced and surprised by the result. But after a while I noticed it didn't always worked as good as I hoped. I tried different (eyebrow) soaps but with outstanding hairs it felt like it wasn't the right texture for it. Sometimes it still took me a while to flatten the hairs. And besides that, applying dipbrow afterwords to fill in gaps and create a more bold look didn't worked very well since the soap caused a greasy skin between the hairs. Conclusion: the Brow Freeze doesn't do all that. It's the best of everything you want without the negatives.

I have seriously never loved a product more. A little goes a long way off this product. What I love most about it is that it’s not sticky and there is no scent. Once you place the product on your brow, you can manipulate your brow hairs in any direction you want and they will stay put. The even nicer thing is that the gel doesn’t set for a while so you have time to shape your brows the way you want. Once you use the flat end of the brush to feather out your brows, you can use the end of the spool to straighten out your brows. After shaping my brows, I fell in some spotty areas with a brow pencil to complete my look. I simply cannot imagine my beauty routine without this. It is 100% worth the purchase and it’s an absolute game changer.

A couple tricks to getting the most out of this product - apply it FIRST, before any of your other brow products with a clean disposable spoolie. Treat it like a hair gel almost and slick your brows into shape. Then follow up with your brow color - i use dipbrow and sometimes do a light coat of dipbrow gel to the sparsest parts for extra fluff. This will help avoid any white flakey cast or cakiness. You dont need to spray the product itself, and adding that moisture will cause the mold some people have mentioned. Just scrape up a little product with your clean spoolie.

I am extremely picky about brow products and often use none at all because I can't stand the gray cast certain brow waxes leave, like boy brow, or the crunchy shiny aspect of the abh brow gel. This is truly clear, so long as it is used properly, and separates my brows beautifully. Were I to want a laminated brow, I could do that, but the reason I give this 5 stars is because it doesn't limit you to the trend. I don't like laminated brows on myself, but I can create very intentional shape, lift and separation with this product (I use the recommended spoolie spatula thingy but I don't think it is necessary). Some key things: start small; put a bit of product of the lid and very quickly close the product tight. Use the spoolie to move the product around on the cap and coat the bristles. Brush through a few times to really coat, then flatten, brush again and find your shape. I love that you have some time to work with this product. Will repurchase and recommend to friends.

It does have a slight bounce when you touch it but that's about it. When I first tried out this product (I did a live GRWM in my stories last week), I was not sure how much product to use. Like I said, I've never used a brow wax before so this is very novel to me. Upon first application (using too much product), my brows felt and looked very laminated which was not what I was going for. However, throughout the day when the brow wax dried, it actually looked a lot fluffier than it did upon first application. The wax also did not have a "crunchy" feeling. There's still some give to the brows but they are definitely "frozen". My second time using this product, I was able to get the fluffier brow look since I used a lot less product. I find this very easy to use (once I learned that less is more) and it lasts for a really long time. I prefer using my brow pencil or powder first before applying the Brow Freeze; however, I have seen many apply the Brow Freeze first and then adding more product to their brows. Honestly, I thought this was another one of those gimmick-y releases but it is actually a good product and it works.

A little background: My brows are very unruly. Some of the hairs stick up & some down, they're really long, & I have some sparse places. They aren't very thick so I require some filling in and brushing my brows up to make them look fuller. First of all, this wax goes on totally invisible. It's not white, flaky or chunky. A tiny bit goes a very long way and dipping a spooly in it is super quick & easy... and surprisingly not messy at all. I use their brush that's made specifically to use with this wax which I highly suggest. After distributing the wax evenly throughout my brows in an upwards direction, I use the flat side of the brush to press/lock them down. Sometimes I do this before I fill them in, and sometimes after because it looks good both ways. Also- It looks so natural that I use this on days I wear zero makeup just to make my brows look fuller and have shape. Oh & just a plus, it's super lightweight & travel friendly! Highly recommend!!

Whenever I use this product I always make sure I have my little spray bottle of alcohol so I can clean the applicator and the top of the lid of the brow freeze. I’ve had mine for 4 months now I’d say and it’s 100% perfect. I love this stuff, you don’t need a lot. Make sure when you apply it to your brows you apply it up then brush your brows down YES DOWN then brush them back up; it helps make sure all the product is distributed in your brows: I’ve never had any issues with this product. I also kept the box of the product and put it back in UPSIDE DOWN (bc not as much air will get into it) whenever I’m done using it then place the box/product in my closet in a drawer, so a cool dry place. Sounds like a lot of work but it’s not, just a lot to explain lol. I love this product. As You can see in the pics I have used the product many times

It's almost a gel like consistency in pan, you get a little on your spoolie brush, then swirl it around on the lid to warm it up a bit before swiping it through your brows. As it dries, you press your brows using the metal on your eyebrow brush to push the hairs into place. Feathered brows?! Yes girl, yes. They feathered beautifully and stayed in place ALL DAY. What blows my mind even more is that once it's dry, the product is soft and not at all stiff. It didn't make my brows waxy or stiff at all. I can't figure out how it has such holding power but is such a soft texture. Mind blowing. This product also saved me some time and the use of at least 1 other product. Once I applied the brow freeze, I used dip brow to make some hair like strokes throughout the first half of my brow. A little brow powder on the outer edges of my brows and I was done. I absolutely LOVE the final product and it lasted all day, not a brow out of place at midnight last night. I have a feeling this product is a new staple in my brow routine, which I am SO picky about. All the people talking about mold are wrong. It is a thick waxy gel and after you rough up the surface it looks opaque. I have not had issues with it drying out. The one thing I experienced was my eyelashes touching my brows throughout the day and leaving (waterproof) mascara transfer under my eyebrows. I have made some tweaks to alleviate that - like not using too much product. Here is how I use it. 1) Brush brows up. 2) Get a LITTLE product on FINGER (not spoolie) and smooth it on hand to make sure it's smooth and there are no chunks. 3) Press it into brows with your finger. 4) Then shape with spoolie/brush. 5) Add more product with FINGER in small amounts if needed. Then shape. 6) I then use the Nyx tiny brow pencil to add some hair strokes. 7) Brush through and VIOLA! This product is excellent but I do not have curly brow hair so that helps. Play with it! First time I tried soap brows in combination with a good brow pen, my entire existence transcended. But after a while, I didn’t like the messiness of soap brows and the time it took to set. I also found it annoying to travel with. Then I found Surratt’s Brow Pomade that gave equally great hold as soap brows, but in tube form with a built-in brush. Downside was the pomade was white and sometimes didn’t dry down fully clear. I purchased this ABH Brow Freeze to compare to Surratt and like the Brow Freeze a lot more. ABH Brow Freeze is clear, has the same great hold as soap brows and Surratt product. And I spend much much less time on fiddling and waiting for Brow Freeze to set, compared to the other two products. I find using Sephora’s Japanese stainless steel Touch-Up Razor Tool perfect for the Brow Freeze, because the tool comes with a stiff brush and a comb to separate the brow hairs (and a razor for brow cleaning, very convenient). If you have brows like me, ABH Brow Freeze is the way to go!

In comparison to the product photo where it shows the model with filled in brows after use oh, I did not notice a fuller brow, rather, they just look groomed. The product is clear. My skin seems to be tolerating it well (no redness or itching). It came with a brow brush, which seems to be a good quality brush, with the grooming end and an end with a spatula. I would recommend washing the brush after each use, which may be cumbersome for some. I think it's a good option for people who already have a fuller set of brows who are just looking for a product to hold them in place. For a gal like me who has overly thin brows, this might not be the best option as it doesn't add what is lacking. But maybe I'm just asking too much!! I think I need a miracle!

After trying NYX and E.L.F's version of a brow hold product, I tried brow soap by Makeup Revolution. That one was my favorite until I tried this! I love that you don't need a crazy amount of product which means it will last longer. It took me a couple days of wearing it to figure out the best way to get it to work and I've found that putting it on (dry skin/brows), shaping the brows, THEN smoothing them down works the best. After that I fill in sparse areas with my Brow Wiz! I will say, if you throw clothes over your head after doing your brows it will likely mess them up. I will also say that if you have oily skin, you'll notice that your brow hairs will fall just a little as the day goes on and living in Houston with the heat and humidity does not help, but this is the best one I've used that keeps my brows looking nice the whole day!

Well my point is, this works well.... 1 hour update: so this is about 1 hour later and on my right eyebrow I notice a few white flakes around the inner brow area. I tried to brush it off with a clean spoolie brush and it wouldn't come off so I left it. Other than that it's keeping my brows in place none are sticking straight out like I've experienced in the past. Overall I give it a 4.00 I took off 1 star for the flakes. I still like it though and will keep using it.

You really do get ultimate hold that will last all day. The secret lies in the spiral like sponge on the applicator brush. This is what gives you the ability and technique of creating a natural feathery effect. So I do think it is very important that you have the right applicator. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that this is a wax and not a gel. The wax does tend to leave a flaky residue that is visible just like you would expect from wax. Other than that I like this product and the look that you can achieve and I can't wait til my eyebrows grow in so I can get the full effect!!

One thing I never expected to happen was the combination of the ABH spoolie brush and this wax apparently was pulling my eyebrow hairs out!! My eyebrows started looking a lot more sparse and I had no idea why! Lamination had not happened since before COVID and this was the only thing, along with the ABH Brow Wiz, that changed. I needed to know more so I contacted a few people in the industry. First, ABH is far from being anything like a "clean" cosmetics company, which I knew but made an exception for them. Second, brow wax is a very well known culprit in causing sparse brows. I had no idea! I was using this every time I got on a Zoom or went out of the house and while it was only 2 months, I can TOTALLY see where the sparseness is. I've started using an all natural eyebrow thickener to grow the hairs back and I guess I'm tossing this since I believe I'm past the return date!
BUYERS BEWARE: If you are going to use this, use sparingly or buy a "cleaner" product that will be better for your eyebrows (and you!)

Although they have thinned some recently due to a thyroid condition, my eyebrows are not super sparse nor thin but I do still keep them neat (somewhat) and I fill them in with a pencil or gel and then "lock them down" when doing my makeup. This product was designed for a specific feathered look that simply doesn't work or wouldn't unless I over-plucked them. I followed the directions, the website instructions and even watched an ABH tutorial that said Brown Freeze could be used as a setting gel if the spatula / spoolee application didn't give results, so I worked with this method. The problem I found was with such a thick, quick drying formula I couldn't add colour after applying and when I used a pencil before the gel it almost made a flakey formula that looked like i had eyebrow dandruff(?) Anyway, I have some close-up and embarrassing pics to show not only the products but how I applied it and then you can see the difference with no product on one eye and brow freeze alone over the other; bonus points if anyone can figure it out ( smiling here). I have a friend with sparse brows who swears by ABH brow gel and im going to give it to her so she can hopefully achieve the look and also review it.

But I sketched in my brow and then took a clean spoolie, picked up a bit of the pomade with the tip, then spread it evenly on the bristles and applied. It was shiny and greasy, muddied the “hairs” i created and never looked dry or set. I tried the opposite order on the other brow: gel first, pen second. Nope, total mess. Can’t return because i pitched the packaging so please learn from my review and save your money so my purchase wasn’t fully in vain!!

I do feel like my eye brow hairs fall a slight bit after a few hours but the overall look is amazing! I have long, and dense eye brow hairs that grow downward so it takes me a while to get them how I like with this product but after I do it's so worth it. The product dries clear and doesn't leave any sort of residue or white cast or pilling on the skin which is awesome! This is a staple for me :) I posted some before and after photos and videos!

Used it everyday for about a week before noticing small pimples were forming all in my brows and in the surrounding areas (especially towards the front of the brows, where I concentrated the product). I didn’t know it was the freeze yet, so I continued using for another week. My acne spread to inbetween my eyebrows and up the center of my forehead. I hardly ever break out, and especially not in those areas. I stopped using the freeze and the acne went away. This past weekend, I broke it out again for a weekend-long event. At the end of the weekend, the same acne in the same places were back. Since I was using any other new products, it’s 100% because of this freeze. The product does get the job done, however - I’ve not found anything else that hold my brows in place. It does make the skin under my brows itch for a while and dries flaky sometimes, though. Overall, I would not recommend this product, especially for the longer-term effects (acne) at this price point.

I used a clean old mascara brush and brow brush and it worked perfectly for lamination effect upon application. After couple of hours it started to flake and leaving residues of white stuff like dandruff. I tried again with lesser product and another brush, and same results of flakes. Also it is not long lasting and u need touch ups with another brow gel every 2-3 hours it you still wanna maintain the lamination effect.
Not gonna buy again.

Those ones seem to look more frayed and I was hoping this would gel them together…it looked more clumped than sleek. It lasted for most of the day but if I was going out in the evening, I had to reapply. If you’re looking for light-medium hold, this is a good option.

It doesn't get dry and crusty, and it didn't flake. I definitely like how it wears. That said, I do trim my brows at the front, and let me tell you- if you have shorter and thick brow hairs this gel doesn't really do the trick. I packed on a lot of product because the minimal amount wasn't doing it for me, but even after building up the product my shorter hairs lifted and didn't stay put. Kinda disappointing because I don't have unruly brows to start, so the fact that they don't stay glued down wasn't what I was expecting. On my longer hairs though, the product worked great and kept them very groomed. I'll end with the critique, I don't know what the heck is up with high end brands lately, but the quality of the components have become poor. I'm not sure if any other makeup junkies are noticing this. I love ABH as a brand because both the product quality and aesthetic is usually 10/10. But this gel comes in a PLASTIC container, it feels incredibly lightweight and cheap. Like e.l.f packaging. I was anticipating the glass container that the pomade comes in, but no, this is plastic. It feels cheap and it's on par with a low end drugstore component, and that is personally not ok given the price point. Okay, end of rant! Tip: when applying, use this before you other brow products. I applied it and then my ABD pomade, and it works great. You might struggle with a brow pencil- because I originally filled in my brows with a pencil and applied this overtop- but it smeared the colour. I tried again and applied the pencil on top, but it didn't cling given the gel so I do think a pomade or creamy pencil is ideal to pair with the brow freeze.

So I made sure to test it out with a few different ways/techniques to thoroughly test it. With the best technique, it still seems to be a 3 stars at best. Here's what i found worked best: Brush through your eyebrows first, then put the wax on using a finger, or maybe a disposable brush you dont care about. It makes the brush stiff as wood, so you'd have to clean it every time. And honestly it doesn't make much of a difference, as long as you brushed it first.It does work to hold my eyebrow hairs in place (I even made them stick straight up just to see how crazy it could get 😅) but it only lasted one day (see "before" and "after 24hrs" pictures). Which is nowhere near the one week they claimed. I tried pushing down my overgrown end that sticks up higher, on my left side, so it wasn't so thick. It worked and held in place, but all that hair just ends ups clumped together and creates this thick line. Even when use sparingly and not to clump hairs together like that, it still makes your hairs stick flat against the skin, looking like drawn on lines. Overall, even though it works, its just pointless to use. And you gotta be careful to not use very much. PS. I was hoping it would be a good primer too, since its sticky, but you can see in the picture that it didn't seem to make a difference. They both lasted the same amount of time. (After picture= after 4 hours passed)

I thought to put a little hair oil over the freeze so I’d just smell my hair oil also may help with the itching when sweating. Will have to try it for longer period but as a glue it was great. I shaped my brow and was perfect. Also I am blonde and use a brow color so I did put the color over the top of the glue and it looked better and actually stayed on. That I really liked. Didn’t want to remove it but never using it before I didn’t want it to give me a rash. Which it didn’t. Just was sweat and glue So as a glue it did what it was supposed to and the smell was light glue but I prefer to smell good so will put a little hair oil over it or a dab of my perfume to mask any smell. As a brow product it’s great. Really impressed with hold and the way my color looked perfect after. I would recommend. Hope it lasts long while with the price .Will have to keep using to find out

I use the brow wax applicator from elf bc Anastasia’s is expensive. Whenever I use this product I always make sure I have my little spray bottle of alcohol so I can clean the applicator and the top of the lid of the brow freeze. I’ve had mine for 4 months now I’d say and it’s 100% perfect. I love this stuff, you don’t need a lot. Make sure when you apply it to your brows you apply it up then brush your brows down YES DOWN then brush them back up; it helps make sure all the product is distributed in your brows: I’ve never had any issues with this product. I also kept the box of the product and put it back in UPSIDE DOWN (bc not as much air will get into it) whenever I’m done using it then place the box/product in my closet in a drawer, so a cool dry place. Sounds like a lot of work but it’s not, just a lot to explain lol. I love this product. As You can see in the pics I have used the product many times

All the people talking about mold are wrong. It is a thick waxy gel and after you rough up the surface it looks opaque. I have not had issues with it drying out. The one thing I experienced was my eyelashes touching my brows throughout the day and leaving (waterproof) mascara transfer under my eyebrows. I have made some tweaks to alleviate that - like not using too much product. Here is how I use it. 1) Brush brows up. 2) Get a LITTLE product on FINGER (not spoolie) and smooth it on hand to make sure it's smooth and there are no chunks. 3) Press it into brows with your finger. 4) Then shape with spoolie/brush. 5) Add more product with FINGER in small amounts if needed. Then shape. 6) I then use the Nyx tiny brow pencil to add some hair strokes. 7) Brush through and VIOLA! This product is excellent but I do not have curly brow hair so that helps. Play with it! After trying NYX and E.L.F's version of a brow hold product, I tried brow soap by Makeup Revolution. That one was my favorite until I tried this! I love that you don't need a crazy amount of product which means it will last longer. It took me a couple days of wearing it to figure out the best way to get it to work and I've found that putting it on (dry skin/brows), shaping the brows, THEN smoothing them down works the best. After that I fill in sparse areas with my Brow Wiz! I will say, if you throw clothes over your head after doing your brows it will likely mess them up. I will also say that if you have oily skin, you'll notice that your brow hairs will fall just a little as the day goes on and living in Houston with the heat and humidity does not help, but this is the best one I've used that keeps my brows looking nice the whole day!

I picked a little with the applicator side and swiped it on my clean back of hand, picked some product up with the brush end, wiped a little excess off back on the back of my hand and brushed my eyebrows in place. As each brow dried I went in with an extra stroke with the remaining wax that was left on my hand and the brush and it worked so much better then any clear brow gel, hair gel or brow pomades I've used before. I've even tried hand soap and hairspray in the past. Well my point is, this works well.... 1 hour update: so this is about 1 hour later and on my right eyebrow I notice a few white flakes around the inner brow area. I tried to brush it off with a clean spoolie brush and it wouldn't come off so I left it. Other than that it's keeping my brows in place none are sticking straight out like I've experienced in the past. Overall I give it a 4.00 I took off 1 star for the flakes. I still like it though and will keep using it.

detailedReviews 115: content: it doesn't even hold my brows down for a minute. the brush doesnt come with it, its a super thin material i expected it to be a bit thicker to actually keep a hold on the brows. my brows have never stayed flat or down with this product. my brows aren't even extremely thick. i also never had my brow pen come up off my brow and stain around my brow hairs throughout the day until i used this product . it also stays sticky for me, i never feel it dry down when i touch my brows. ive tried using in everyway to no luck. ive tried brushing my brow hairs up first, down first and leaving them for a min and then brushing up, brushing down then up immediately, putting product on the cap, etc and nothing works. this product does absolutely nothing for me which really disappointed me

detailedReviews 116: content: This product definitely has a learning curve and it took me a few tries before I got it looking more fab and less Eugene Levy/the Grinch. AKA I definitely recommend watching ABH’s tutorial video because the soap brow look is not intuitive. Once I got this product to work properly, I liked the fluffy effect it left. I’m usually a fan of full, thick brows but there is something fun about changing it up with the Brow Freeze. A little goes a LONG way (initially, I was using too much and the product was getting flakey in my brows/mixed up with my foundation…it was unfortunately). I think that this product could last you a long while. I paired it with a colored brow gel and brow pencil, but I think it would work best with a pomade. Overall, if you’re curious about fluffy brows this is for you. If you want a clear gel that will keep your brows in place, this is also for you. If you love ABH brow products, (and to be honest, who doesn’t) this product is definitely for you!
