The open front adds a bit of bulk, and I preferred a slimmer design. Also, I carry my laptop in a backpack onboard. Otherwise, great quality, the wheels slide on a carpet at home very easily. I forgot to check where this model is made, a plain front Airconic cabin bag is made in India.
