This is a plastic watch on a metal bracelet... But "THIS WATCH AIN'T CHEAP". I really am grateful that I came across this one. I will definitely recommend this to anyone. It's a must have and I'mma get the black one too. I got this one for a great deal and I'mma keep buying this watch as gifts to my brothers and friends ?. items 7: content: I managed to grab this watch while it was on sale for around $20 (probably would have been better to wait until a deal came up for around $15).
The packaging was the usual cardboard Casio box to expect for these models that are not G-Shock. The box came with the usual instruction manual and warranty cards.
The watch wears pretty comfortably and given that it is also very light I can barely feel it on my wrist. On the downside the materials do seem pretty cheap and since it is digital it may not be as enjoyable for those who are serious about watch collecting/wearing.
On the bright side, the watch has plenty of useful features such as the world time feature along with other functions like a stopwatch or timer. I especially find the world time to be very useful for international travelers as well as individuals who find themselves working with people overseas for their work.
Being able to check the time for various time zones across the world does make it easier to adjust the time whenever I may travel to another country or interact with someone overseas. On top of that, the watch has a 10 year battery life as well which is very convenient so I don't have to change the battery too frequently.
Overall, the watch has a lot of value for the low cost you are getting it for. This watch definitely works great as a casual or functional watch a person may need for daily use.

Been using Analog watches for quite some time, have to adjust the date due to mechanical movement and fed up with charging my smart watch until the battery only lasted for 6-7 hours.
I remember I used to own a Casio Watch back in school and do some research which watch is practical for me.
This AE-1200 is the right one.
Hope it lasts 10 years, will make this as my everyday carry watch for now.

The backlight is very nice amber color and the ability to change from 1 to 3 seconds backlight time is very nice. I’m not sure what could be done better here at all. Amazing price for what you are getting. I have noticed that it looks like an Apple Watch at a glance for what it is worth.

Polycarbonate case coated by a sprayed on acrylic silver paint that's slightly lighter in shade than the steel sheet pressed
strap, but it's only noticeable when you think about it and on the wrist it looks like a steel case with a machined
from the steel block pin link bracelet that you find on some Seikos etc so it looks more expensive than the £29 I paid
on Argos. 44mm wide button to button so it's not as tiny as most sub G-Shock casios and won't get lost on your wrist.
That all said it does look very early 1980's retro and if you don't like that cult stuff go for the all black resin
strap AE-1200WH-1AVEF which is lighter and a bit more comfortable and would make an ideal daily wearer. As I'm 65 I
thought it would look less whacked out than the DBC-611 Databank which I may get around to later. Getting about minus
3 seconds a month which is as good as my G-Shocks. Very legible display with only slightly smaller digits than on the GD-350
so might be worth buying for this alone.
