Watching videos with this screen really cool…OK this is from my visual comparison that really make me impress and decided to buy Asus TUV a15. I then make a research to know more on this laptops and finally I decided to buy the model that equipped with an AMD Ryzen™ 7 7435HS processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4050 GPU, firstly it meet my pocket ability , secondly from my experience through the comparison above and a little research proven its powerful , smooth and fast start-up….in just few seconds.
Cooling wise can give a thumbs up…..running cool with no noise.
With it High refresh rate display plus introduction of G-sync and adaptive sync support provide a very smooth video , gaming experience.
The sound system wow with its build in sound card that support Dolby Atmos , AI noice cancellation and a 2.0 speaker system is just enough for me a music hunger.
The 90Wh battery offers ample endurance for hours of web browsing and video playback, with fast charging technology that can return the machine to 50% charge in just 30 minutes
Theoritically it is tested to US MIL-STD-810H military-grade standards for reliability and durability.

More than any laptop I’ve ever used, this machine ought to come with a quick start guide. When you power up the laptop the very first thing you’ll probably want to do is stop the keyboard backlight pulsing, which to fully control means using the Asus Armoury Crate app. Which leads to what seems to be the biggest physical design flaw of the machine, the WASD keys. As a gaming laptop having them highlighted by being transparent is a nice touch, but depending on the backlight colour, their decals can be hard to read.
For me at least, setting up any new laptop includes removing the bloat. Even after having declined the Office365 trial, the visual bloat and some setup files remain. I’ve done this many times. But on this occasion, it went wrong. The fact that Microsoft has a specific tool to remove this when it goes wrong suggests I’m not alone, so I’m blaming Microsoft and not Asus for this one. With Office365 removed there’s nothing else major that I felt the need to remove. For once the various tweaking apps from Asus (Armoury Crate & My Asus), AMD, and Nvidia, really need to be left in place to prep the laptop for its different uses.
Another reason for my choice of this laptop is that to a degree Asus lists it as user-serviceable. In other words, you can upgrade the RAM or Drive(s) if you feel it necessary – without voiding the warranty provided you follow the service manual. This is something I’ve done, adding a second 1TB NVME2 SSD to hold my documents and music. Even though it’s user-serviceable, this is not for the faint-hearted.
One thing I wasn’t expecting was the robustness of construction, this laptop is solid – and has the weight to prove it. It’s not heavy, just heavier than I expected, and I’m still unsure about what the top panel case (behind the screen) is constructed from. Whether it’s high-density metal or plastic, it's certainly solid! And then there’s the design aesthetic, definitely aimed at teenage boys, but it’s so much for the money (and stickers can always be removed) that I’m willing to forgive it. Full-size keys on the keypad would have been nice, but I guess they’re limited by the overall dimensions. The backlit lettering on the F-keys and top row over the keypad is also very small.
In use and playing games it's very competent, and less noisy than I expected. But that superior cooling means that when using the laptop for other purposes it's so quiet you can’t even tell that the fans are on.
It might seem that I’ve more than a few niggles here, but honestly what this machine does for the money is far more than enough for me to recommend the Asus TUF FA507NU-LP101W to anyone who wants a budget gaming laptop.

Despite having twice the RAM and a wildly better GPU than my old laptop, it doesn't even perform as well as my old computer, let alone better. It struggles to run any game, even a low graphics decades old game. It's impossible to do any video editing because in both Premiere and Davinci, the preview crashes after a few minutes, so you can do one effect on your timeline, then you have to reboot, one more edit, one more reboot. Service is zero help. I sank nearly 2,000$ in what turns out to be a brick. I can't even give it to my child, because it won't even run YouTube without crashing! Worst computer I have ever had the displeasure of owning. Never buying another ASUS product again. They sell merchandise that is clearly defective and then just shrug and tell you too bad, so sad. I wish I could give it negative stars because I have been scammed, there really isn't any other way of putting it. When the ancient computers at the public library greatly outperform your brand new gaming laptop in EVERY aspect, you know there isn't a atom of quality in any of the parts.

After countless reviews and searching I found this ASUS Tuf Gaming A15 laptop. I don't even miss my macbook now. This thing is an absolute powerhouse.. I put it through the ultimate stress test first day I got it and downloaded over 250 gb of software onto it. After downloading things for over 5 hours (which I found very reasonable) considering how much data that is and I have a very average internet speed) it ran great.. no issues.. and the unit wasn't even hot after. Amazing.
I like to produce music so this needed to be able to run heavy CPU intensive virtual instruments and I am so happy with how it's performing. No latency at all!
It's a little too early to say how it will perform in the future considering I have only owned it for a week now but it is going great so far. As long as I don't have a motherboard issue I have hope with what type of laptop this is I will b3 able to upgrade and replace key components when necessary.
I speak very highly of this laptop and I sure hope it doesn't let me down. Great trip so far! Thank you ASUS for making such a great computer that was reasonably affordable!

However I was getting a lot of weird screen flicker and pixelation even running Chrome, though mostly when exiting a game. Replacing Armoury Crate with G-Helper removed 90-95% of that but it still occasionally does a small amount. Some games crash regularly, notably Fallout 4 is unplayable, not sure whose fault that is though. Skyrim runs beautifully but I did get one crash today. I bought it to run Oblivion Remastered, it's a little bit disappointing as it gets jerky outside even on low settings. Interiors are fine and settings can be cranked up quite high. Oblivion does warn me before every game that it needs a minimum 6 GB video memory and that the computer only has 4GB. The 64 GB RAM makes Roll20 virtual tabletop run very smoothly on Chrome though.

I bought this at 25th December, 32GB + 1TB version, I was deciding between 4060 vs 4070 version of the computer when I decided on the 4060, 4060 on laptop was an amazing card as it differs from the PC version of the card by only 10%, it is very worth the money for its performance it gave.
Build quality wise it is indeed very solid, the body was really good and feels good to use on. I would nitpick on the keyboard font but for this price there is nothing to really talk about here.
I like the fact that the thermals are very well managed, I'm playing Monster Hunter World: IceBorne with maxed out quality settings and 120Hz refresh rate, I managed to get full fps with CPU and GPU temperatures controlled at 75 °C which is extremely good, I was expecting it to run at about 85~90°C. At 60Hz the CPU can even run at 60°C. Not to mention I love how vibrant the colors on the screen is.
I am very surprised of the performance, I would highly recommend to wait out on price drops such as I did when there are vouchers to be used to get that extra discount.

Part 1: Fake Discounts & Emotional Manipulation – Reliance Digital
the ASUS TUF A15 laptop on 20th June (Friday) for ₹95,000. And on 21st June (Saturday) at 4 AM, the exact same laptop was listed at ₹88,999. And by 11 AM that morning, it was back at ₹95,000.
Are you seriously expecting customers to be shopping for laptops at 4 AM? Clearly, this is a cheap and deceptive marketing trick meant to manipulate buyers emotionally.
This is not just unethical — it’s psychological exploitation. It feels like a personal betrayal. You play with our excitement, our trust, and more importantly — our hard-earned money.
If you don’t want to give discounts, don’t pretend to offer them. But don’t run shady 4-hour price drops when no one's even awake, just to create false urgency. I’ll remember this, and I’ll make sure others don’t fall into this trap again.
Part 2: ASUS – Disappointment in the Name of a Premium Product
Let’s talk about the laptop now. I paid a premium for the ASUS TUF A15, and guess what I got?
No accessories, not even a basic socket adapter, even though ASUS plugs are oversized and don’t fit most switches.
While reliance
other laptops with lower specs are being bundled with free 4-in-1 gaming accessories, your “premium” product came with zero value additions.
Within 2 days of purchase, on June 23, I noticed dark grey lines on the screen while updating drivers and Windows.
So congratulations — I spent ₹95,000 on what turned out to be a defective display unit.
When I called ASUS support, I was told:
“We don’t have a service center in your area (Sikar). You have to wait 48 hours for pickup.”
Well, I don’t have 48 hours. I am a student and need this laptop for my college curriculum in Indore. I had no choice but to travel 100 KM to Jaipur on June 24, wasting my money, time, and peace of mind, only to be told to "wait for a call."
Even worse — the contact number listed on Google for your Jaipur store isn’t even working.
So ASUS, you gave me a defective product. You offered no accessories. You gave me no working support. And now you're delaying a fix while my college date (June 28) is fast approaching.
How is this fair in any world?
My Demand: Compensation & Accountability
I’m not asking for charity. I’m asking for what’s fair.
I demand a replacement of my defective laptop.
Not the same unit — but an upgraded ASUS 5070 model as compensation for:
Receiving a faulty product
The emotional distress and academic delays
The money spent traveling for your mistakes
I also urge Reliance to compensate with the accessories that is given by him to other low specifications laptop
If I don’t receive a response or a resolution before June 27, I will have no choice but to:

Now, I will say the MAY have been digital documentation on the drive, but when I got the laptop, I immediately formatted it and installed Windows 11 Pro because I don't like HOME. In either case, downloading an online document with keyboard combinations would have saved me a lot of heartache and frustration. I'd still recommend the purchase.

I was happy to pay $2000 for another alienware, but they phased out those buttons, and they are non-negotiable to me and many others where I work. The buttons enable 3D modeling and graphics editing workflows that are janky and awkward or don’t work at all without those buttons.
The laptop is otherwise adequate once you upgrade the ram. The keyboard is a bit of a wonky layout and it has a lot of plastic like you’d expect in a budget laptop. McAfee and other crapware comes preinstalled. Cooling and noise levels and screen are all surprisingly good though. We’ll see about how long it lasts, the plastic levels are concerning. Hopefully some manufacturer gets smart and adds touchpad click buttons to a high end laptop by then.

Then, when I was playing games, the temperature of cpu was kept around 70 degrees, but the sound of the fan seemed to cut off my ears. If you turn down the sound in the game a bit, you may not hear it. Finally, after experiencing it for a few days, the screen made me feel good. Although it is only about 300 nits (Strix has 500nits and 1100nits), it does not feel dark in daily life.

I personally got the FA507XU, which includes a 4070 GPU, 1tb SSD, and the 7940HS CPU, all of which make for a powerful, functional combination that I absolutely love using.
Armory Crate has come a long way and allows me to precisely customize every minor aspect of this machine and its hardware. I am also able to keep it up-to-date with Crate and the MyAsus app. If you are purchasing this laptop, I would highly recommend checking for BIOS updates immediately and then updating other things like the GPU.
The laptop has a beautiful modern, sleek look, which goes hand in hand with how light and portable it is. It's not fatiguing to have on my lap for hours on end, and gaming still blows my mind. Being able to run titles like Battlefield 2042 and Red Dead 2 at high/ultra settings and achieve triple-digit frame rates is truly awe-inspiring.
The laptop includes a low profile and light AC adapter, which albeit a little short, works very well. As I mentioned, very thin and low profile, which makes placing it into a case very discrete.
The screen is also very nice - very detailed and colorful, and I love being able to enable HDR for certain applications.
Overall, this model of the Asus TUF A15 is fantastic and exceeds my wants. I can foresee this lasting me a significantly long time thanks to the specs, build quality and support from Asus.

(A refund I am still waiting for 3 weeks on.) They said I was sent the wrong laptop, they would collect and refund it and to re-order it, which I did. In the end the new laptop that arrived had the same issues so I can only assume that the ad is misleading in terms of spec. I decided to keep the second laptop as it worked for the game that I wanted it for and didn't want to go through more hassle with Very.
Other that the misleading specs in the advert. The laptop has worked with no issues.

Received in good condition and superb packaging. Ship out time can be improved, seller shipped out the laptop on the third day after I placed the order. However, delivery speed is fast.
Been using the laptop for a couple of weeks now. So far tried to play GTA V, Sim 4 and LoL only. No complaints for the performance. However, there are some downsides that I found on this laptop. I noticed there is slight lagging when opening some apps, but acceptable. Fan sound is quite loud during turbo mode, a little irritating. But heat dissipation is okay on the keyboard. The screen brightness is a little dim. Also, the keyboard feels cheap. Sound is okay. Haven't tested on battery as I always charge it while playing games. Laptop is lightweight, convenient to bring anywhere.
Overall, I'm happy & satisfied with it. Definitely value for money.

Once you do, make sure to disable CPU boost, because it’s unnecessary and causes the device to run unnecessarily hot, putting the fans into overdrive. I know that sounds like a lot of negatives, but aside from those minor issues it plays games tremendously.

A note on the 165 screen rate Hz 🖖:
Works wonders and keeps the PC cool for normal desktop tasks and apps (browsing, programming, graphic tools, etc); but when gaming I notice that depending on the game (more GPU intense) both CPU and GPU temps can reach 80 Cº easily. I understand that these models can heat up to 90-95 Cº where they should start throttling, but for keeping things cooler (and extending components life) better keeping the screen refresh at 60hz or close. You will still be able to game at 1080p with lower temps (65-75 Cº) a lot of modern heavy demanding games and honestly there's no much difference unless you are a Pro gamer and care much about the extra frames that the 165Hz provide.
Rating 5 starts, because for the price range and super build quality (everything feels robust and strong) is enough for my daily needs.

Took my time to test out this laptop for almost a week before writing down a review and I’m happy to say that I love it. I previously own an ASUS Zenbook and the first noticeable difference is the bigger 15.6” display which was a very nice upgrade. Like my previous laptop, the start up is very quick and laptop is also very easy to set up. I like that there is a nice balance between its affordable pricing and the performance based on the specs that was offered. There is an additional slot for RAM and SSD so that it is upgradable according to individual needs. Laptop looks aesthetic inside and out and the build feels sturdy and solid. Love that the material is matte so it prevents fingerprints. Keyboard feel is good and RGB lighting as well as performance settings is easily customisable in Armoury Crate. Gaming was smooth and quick to load. The speakers are also clear and loud. Battery life is also decent for a gaming laptop.

I was able to install my old steam games and play the old splinter cell conviction that I was never able to finish playing since my desktop fried after a lightning storm. Games are clear, crisp and with great detail using the 1080 and 144hz screen. The viewing angle is great due to the ips screen, I would have lights the screen to be a little brighter, but that seems to be my only complaint so far. This thing boots up quick. Having the SSD definitely helps out. This is a big step up from what I've had. So far, I would definitely make this purchase again.

I upgraded to 32gb (2x16gb) Corsair Vengeance DDR5 4800MHz for $90 from Amazon at the time of writing this, and it's been great so far. Super easy install, remove all screws, peel back one heat-sink panel, pop old ram out and put new ram in.
MyASUS warranty/registration was very easy to set up, and ASUS gave me 1 free year of accidental damage protection just for registering.
Uninstalled ArmouryCrate programs and prefer G-Helper from GitHub to control fans/processor/backlight auras/etc. Much cleaner program and less bloaty.
The laptop case feels very rugged but is very prone to showing fingerprints/marks with even slight oil.
Would recommend this laptop deal to anyone looking for a powerful gaming laptop at a competitive price point, $850 (+$66 tax US) at time of purchase with listed specs above.

The ASUS TUF A15 2023 is a pretty solid gaming laptop that caught my eye. I really like the metal body, and it's not too heavy to carry around for a gaming laptop. The specs are really good for the price (with discount), especially with the RTX 4060 graphics card. The keyboard feels really nice and the 144Hz refresh rate is smooth and makes games look really nice. I managed to score a good deal on Shopee, so I think it's great value for money. Haven't tried out many games yet, but so far it's handling everything I've thrown at it (even training neural networks) without any issues. Also the screen is really beautiful and actually for me its pretty bright despite some people online saying its not bright enough (may for outdoor use). The speakers sound good though not that bass heavy, i think its good for movies also. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and i think it can last me for quite a long time.

Placed order on Friday and is ready to be collected on Tuesday next week at PC Image Lowyat level 3. PIC during my collection Mr Alfred is very nice and friendly. The laptop is sealed from factory and opened during collection. I tested the laptop in store and set it up as if I wanted to use it right now. The experience was smooth and blazing fast with the R7-7735HS and playing 4K videos was easily done by the RTX4050. The build quality is top notch as the tuf a15 feels very solid upon holding or lifting it up. The screen is very good, the keyboard is fine, Armoury Crate is excellent!
I did a fresh install of Windows 11 with USB as out of the box came with a high number of bloatware. After installing and partition the ssd, the ssd used capacity dropped from about 80gb used, to about several gb used. The battery is great considering it’s a gaming laptop. This is a first gaming laptop and I highly recommend it as it left exceptional first impressions for me as a software engineering student.

I tried all other laptops, but I reckon these guys must have a great relationship with chip manufacturers or something because these babies kick. Even with 8g ram. I will up soon though as sh struggles to install software in the back ground when a demanding game is running.

I tested few games, some older like Just Cause 3, some more recent like Cyberpunk 2077. I'm very pleased with the performance/price ratio of this laptop. It's possible to play (in my opinion) with a comfortable stable frame rate and after running some minor tweaks (limiting fps to ~55) the computer stay rather cool (for a gaming laptop) in the matter of temperatures. I though about buying version with RTX 4060, but the performance gain for me wasn't worth it. The one thing that I think is not to todays standards is the amount of RAM. Only 16GB in gaming laptop is a joke, as it fills pretty quickly. The plastic palmrest and chassis likes to shine from sweaty fingers and palms. Aside from that I'm pleased with my choice. I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback.

Cons:
1.The screen performance could be slightly improved as the one I purchased comes with a 144Hz panel and there is no inbuilt adaptive brightness.
2.The camera is neither a Full HD one nor does it comes with an IR, hence doesn't support the "Windows Hello!".
3.The WiFi performance, though it comes with a WiFi 6 isn't that great especially when located at a distance from the router. This is in comparison to a Hp Zbook Fury G8 mobile workstation.
Leaving these few drawbacks, the performance is top notch for a Windows laptop in the price budget.

I contacted Asus about it, they asked me to do some things to fault find it then told me to send it to the repair facility, the closest one was 3 hours drive away, the night before I planned to drive to Sydney to get my laptop repaired someone on redit responded with the solution.
The problem was that ASUS locks their laptops so you need to have Armory Crate installed to use your own GPU, your technician didn't even know that, look I don't mind when laptop companies include all this optional bloatware to do things that windows does already, but when you make them mandatory to even use, then I don't like it, I have never had any problems with any other company doing this, I have bought from Lenovo, Dell, Acer and HP without any similar hardware issues.
Another thing, the technician wanted to charge me as my device was out of warranty, considering I purchased it in February 2024 (6 months ago) means that either the technician was mistaken, or you are not giving sufficient time with your Warranties, this makes me wonder if that is even legal

In terms of the price to performance ratio it can't really be beat. It's a nice looking laptop to boot. The styling is more subdued and less embarrassing to take out in public than most "gaming" laptops and the build quality is above acceptable for a gaming laptop in the budget-to-midrange price range, there's very little flex and the keyboard offers a very comfortable typing experience. The display is surprisingly good, the IPS panel could be brighter but the colour range is impressive and the 144hz refresh is easy on the eyes, good viewing angles too. There's plenty of I/O as well, HDMI, 3x USB-A ports, USB-C port, combination 3.5mm headphone/line-in jack, it's even got an ethernet port. Battery life is above average, not outstanding, but I get a good four and a half hours doing general computing.
Really, the only things keeping this from being my ideal laptop are fairly minor: the speakers aren't top/front firing and are muffled when the laptop is placed on a desk/surface, and they aren't very loud or articulate either and lack "oomph", and the webcam is astoundingly bad (jittery, washed out, horrible low-light compensation, even worse FOV angle, you will look fat and dead).
In this price category, the ASUS TUF laptops are really the ones to beat, a really good blend of hardware, design, features, and price.

The boot and login speed is phenomenal! Once booted, I can sign in and get to work in less than 2 seconds. A lot of that time is me wondering "wait! It's loaded?!!"
Browsing around in Chrome is lightning fast. Compared to my MacBook Pro, it's almost like Chrome know what I'm doing before I do!
General performance is faultless. It's a dream to work on.
For more intensive stuff, like using UE4 and UE5, it does heat up significantly while compiling shaders, with the fans going full whack, and though it's fairly loud, in the office where I was testing it, it wasn't excessively loud. Quite acceptable really. Could it be improved in future models? Probably. But it's not a deal breaker.
Using UE4 as a guide, as I've not had a chance to actually game yet, the graphic capabilities are fantastic. Combined with the display quality (colour, size and refresh rate), visual performance is breathtaking for a laptop of this calibre!
Speaking of the display, after calibrating with a Datacolor Spyder 5 for my media work, the subtle green tint (and it is subtle, especially compared to some devices) which is likely in part due to the DCI-P3 range it can produce (I always calibrate to 6500k for day-to-day use) is gone, and can confirm both sRGB and DCI-P3 range is beautifully recreated (sRGB is 100%, DCI-P3 is basically 100%, but I can't remember exactly what was reported after calibrating).
The build quality is great. Study, yet not threatening. The keys light nicely. Trackpad functions smoothly. Usb ports maybe a little stiff, so, don't be too tough plugging anything in, but it's better than being too loose and everything falling out, I guess.
Other features I've not really explored much of yet, but have no doubt I'll be thoroughly impressed when I do!
Overall, a fantastic laptop that is definitely going to help me learn more skills than I could on my MacBook and older PC, support me through my admin side of work, survive my commute and allow me to chill with some excellent gaming performance to boot!

detailedReviews 84: content: I'll cut to the skinny. The TUF506IV-AS76 has an RTX 2060 Mobile GPU and a new Ryzen R7 4800H 8 core, 16 thread processor with 16GB of DDR4 3200Mhz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. This thing is a little monster and you will not be disappointed by the performance. Period.
I understand this laptop has (pointlessly) receive some negative reviews from various Youtuber's complaining about the CPU/GPU temps and the display. Trust this, literally ALL gaming laptops with high-end components run hot and loud: 90-95+ Celsius and 55+ Decibels in some cases, especially when both the CPU and GPU are both being hit by an intense game. Any laptop with these same tier of components that might possibly shave a Celsius or two of the top end temps and maybe a couple dB off accoustics are either 1) significantly more expensive, and/or 2) are so large and thick that they aren't good as laptops anymore but are considered more "desktop replacements." Having said that, keep in mind that AMD's website lists the 4800H's max temp as 105c - which is where the CPU will simply thermal throttle, it won't die if you somehow manage to hit that temp and you probably won't unless you go out of your way aiming to make it happen.
P.S. There are also some options (Google them) to turn CPU boosting off which allows the CPU to hit a max temp of like 77c from my experience. There is also a Ryzen controller program you can download to manually control the wattage the CPU can pull which can also significantly impact thermals positively as well.
Speaking to Youtuber's complaints about the 144Hz Adaptive Sync panel, I guess unless you're a professional gamer who's hypersensitive to pixel response time, then you'll be hard pressed to detect a difference in the panel compared to any other 144Hz display. I thought I was sensitive to it, but as it turns out, I forgot about those "issues" existed and have played many titles on the laptop and never notice a hitch, only silky smooth frame-rates (significantly smoother if all you're accustomed to is a 60Hz display).
Overall, for 1200USD you won't find a better/equally equipped laptop that's also built with such high quality. This was a no-brainer purchase for me. I set out wanting a 4800H with at least a 1660 Ti Mobile and 16GB of RAM. Most gaming laptops with those components are priced closer to 1500USD.
You can't beat the TUF A15 FA506IV-AS76's price to performance. Plain and simple.

As the laptop is plagued with issues and it is just adding on to my frustration. The wifi goes off when doing important tasks(the drivers not the router issue) the bluetooth disconnects when using wireless headphones and mouses,the keyboard doesnt respond to inputs, the backup is not that great as only getting 3 hours and it is supposed to have a 90 wh battery. The Nvidia drivers have their own mind it doesnt switch to onboard drivers for powersaving. The laptop is big and bulky and i wouldnt mind the extra weight if the device was reliable which it isnt. One of the worst investments i have done and if i had the option to return it for refund i would have done it and switch to other brands.

The decent intergrated graphics is a really useful feature, it can still run Baldurs Gate 3 but save a lot of power. Then the 4070 can run it on ultra with ease when plugged in. It does get hot when using full power mode, but CPU hasn't gone much above 80C, and the Armoury crate is good for monitoring and changing settings. Fans aren't too loud either. The screen is good, can still see it fine in a bright environment. The touch pad click bit doesn't work that well sometimes but it's liviable with. Its pretty compact and not too heavy.

The city I live in is really dusty so that could have contributed to the heat issue as well as pushing it above what I should have. Overall I've pushed it a little and it handled it and now that I'm monitoring it I'll get a lot of good use out of it with some minimal maintenance. I just want it to last until I can afford to build.
