Amazing sound quality, crystal clear vocals, very good bass but I like it with some extra bass and the feature is available on the Sennheiser smart control app. All the touch controls are working pretty well. Noice cancellation is working very well. Audio calls are also very clear. Battery backup is excellent. I don't see any cons as of now.

For people who consider sound quality, this is the top pick Pros: 1) Top tier clarity(you can differentiate every instrument) 2) Very High fidelity of sound(you'll feel the sound, you'll be able to tell this is how it should sound) 3) Versatile across majority genre. Very balanced Soundstage. 4) Moderate Bass, that too controllable(I dislike high bass, but it's bass is beautiful) 5) Great Equalizer function (I turned down the bass using this, and I love the function) 6) Great Battery Backup Cons: 1) Poor ANC compared to the price point (even Sony's WHCH720N has equivalent ANC level) 2) Comfort is not upto the mark. Heavy, and slightly higher clamping force. Not unbearable, but better possible (in fact Bose and Sony are master in comfort). 3) Not as high end feature loaded as Sony WH1000XM5. 4) Doesn't support LDAC; aPTX adaptive is the one I am using.

Sennheiser overbuilt these headphones to be competitive with the (redacted fruit company's) over-the-ear headphones and they are 300 bucks cheaper. snippets: the Sennheiser are closer in weight to the Bowers and Wilkins px7s2 I think they're roughly the same close to 300 grams although I think Sennheiser have done a fantastic job of Distributing the weight around the head or throughout the headphone so we no longer get the sort of the top of the head pressure point that I experience with the momentum 3 wireless that's gone as far as I can tell and the side clamping force is somewhere between the lighter Sony and the much firmer grip of the Bowers and Wilkins it's somewhere in the middle I think it's great too and if I lean forward I never feel like the Sennheiser are going to fall off the same with the Sony really but the bowels and Wilkins yeah do have a much firmer side clamping Force even after several months of use although it has loosened a little bit but the Sennheiser I hope they don't loosen anymore they're just perfect, now the Sennheiser don't have the latter functionality but they do have a touch panel which I think is absolutely superb and I think it's much more accurate in recognizing hand gestures than Sony's so volume up swipe up Works flawlessly as this volume down what I also like it's only a single tap to play pause and double tap engages and then disengages the active noise cancellation and for me a and I guess this is the personal thing this feature makes the Sennheiser Headphones an absolute joy to use

Connectivity is amazing, the fit is very premium and the casing is solid too plus when you keep the headphones in them they turn off automatically and yes they have on-head sensors. Pretty easy to use The only downside is that the touch controls sometimes don't work properly but they don't bother much, you'll get used to it once you understand them. The clamping force is a lot for someone with a bigger head size, consider this into account. Else it's a great pair of headphones, if you have the money and liking for very good sound quality.

to them with the sony xm5 you get more of an in your head sort of sound which has its appeal but the momentum for wireless have a wider deeper sound stage also the highs are more refined more detailed and more textured like i listened to music with a lot of brass and brass texture and overtones were so gorgeous on the momentum four i also enjoyed the clarity of vocals like i never felt that the xm5 were congested it's just that the momentum four are so open and free breathing in the end i have to say i have more fun listening to music on the momentum for wireless there's more to dig into more to notice now if you're a more passive listener some of the detail may be lost on you but it doesn't take an audio file to hear the difference here the momentum four just have better sound quality period, now the Sennheiser don't have the latter functionality but they do have a touch panel which I think is absolutely superb and I think it's much more accurate in recognizing hand gestures than Sony's so volume up swipe up Works flawlessly as this volume down what I also like it's only a single tap to play pause and double tap engages and then disengages the active noise cancellation and for me a and I guess this is the personal thing this feature makes the Sennheiser Headphones an absolute joy to use now we come to the momentum 4 Wireless's trump card one that blows all other Bluetooth headphones out of the water one that destroys all other headphones and that is battery life we get 60 hours of run time between charges with the momentum for wireless I'll say that again 60 hours and that's with active noise canceling turned on I think this is utterly fantastic it's double the run time of the Sony and the bows and Wilkins and I've used the momentum 4 wireless for roughly an hour a day for the last few weeks and I've not had to recharge them once not once and I think one feature that really helps with extending the battery life in daily use is their auto power off so you put the the Sennheiser down on a table and if you don't touch them they'll Auto off in 15 minutes and then to wake them up again all you have to do is pick them up and tap aside which again I think is a really nice feature that enhances the enjoyment factor of these headphones and in the day-to-day because the day-to-day matters right in the day-to-day the Sennheiser are what I pick up when I want to go walk about around Berlin and it's because I like their sound very very much indeed I like them more than the Sony I like them more than the Bowers and Wilkins px7s2 and although they sound different to the px8 I like them as much as the px8 which was also a surprise finding and that's mainly because of their microdynamics and they're really terrific layer separation and the kick in the low end which doesn't sort of leak into I guess what you would call the sort of not even the mid base but it's it's really just the sub bass that kicks a little bit harder on the sennheisers whereas with the px8 it's all of the bass that kicks harder but I also pick up the Sennheiser because I prefer controlling my Bluetooth noise canceling headphones with my hand on the side touch panel it's much more convenient for me than having to kind of root around on the back of an earcup to find the right button to press and keynote observers will notice that there's only one button on the back of the right ear cup on the momentum 4 wireless and that's for powering on and off and for activating Bluetooth pairing mode and I also pick up the Sennheiser in the day-to-day because I know that if I'm out and about and I have to make a phone call that phone call won't get destroyed by wind noise now yes the Sony are almost as good maybe on par with the Sennheiser when it comes to wind noise rejection but I like the sound the sound quality of music through the Sennheiser quite a bit more than the sound quality of music through the Sony hello looks like I spoke too soon about this being the end of my Bluetooth investigation because I've just had a delivery from campfire audio their new orbit true Wireless IEM anyway where was I oh yeah I'm picking up the Sennheiser to go out on the day today because of phone calls yeah wind will not destroy those phone calls it won't on the Sony either and the Sony also have a touch sensitive ear panel which I also really like but the Sony cannot match the Sennheiser on sound quality not at all and that's really because the Sennheiser are much better with layer separation and they have a much tidier base kick and they're better with microdynamic inflections to get more specific they sound more open with Neil Young and Crazy Horse's weld they sound more internally spacious when listening to steffy's the red Hunter which is a fantastic Electro album and they lend far greater Dynamic Flair to Art brutes Bang Bang Rock and Roll which really I gotta say really needs that Dynamic Flair but I think most impressive of all is the Sennheiser can do all of this offer all of this for less money than the Sony and the Bowers it's a almost 80 Euros less retail price than those Rivals and so in the end we spend less we get more and this is why for me the Sennheiser momentum for wireless is the best value Bluetooth headphone of 2022.

snippets: the Sennheiser are closer in weight to the Bowers and Wilkins px7s2 I think they're roughly the same close to 300 grams although I think Sennheiser have done a fantastic job of Distributing the weight around the head or throughout the headphone so we no longer get the sort of the top of the head pressure point that I experience with the momentum 3 wireless that's gone as far as I can tell and the side clamping force is somewhere between the lighter Sony and the much firmer grip of the Bowers and Wilkins it's somewhere in the middle I think it's great too and if I lean forward I never feel like the Sennheiser are going to fall off the same with the Sony really but the bowels and Wilkins yeah do have a much firmer side clamping Force even after several months of use although it has loosened a little bit but the Sennheiser I hope they don't loosen anymore they're just perfect, These are a really comfortable pair of headphones as well I've worn them for hours without any problem whatsoever the cushioning deserves special mention they've got it just right so on the headband it's nice and cushion there without being too much and the same thing on the cups and they really do highlight why Sony screwed up with the xm5s I don't know why they've reduced the padding on those headphones so much because these reveal that you really don't have to do that they're nice and light without feeling cheap and they sit on my head while I'm wearing glasses without any trouble whatsoever

snippets: although the fabric covered headband to me elevates them above the Sony in terms of look and feel only just and I also think that the Sennheiser feel more substantial in the hand than the Sony they're a bit weightier they're not quite as weighty as the the bows and Wilkins px7s2 not quite and they don't really have the Bowers is sort of more sort of gentleman's luxury every product feel they're much more of a consumer sort of focused design that the Sennheiser Engineers have applied to the momentum Wireless 4 and it's certainly more in line with my personal aesthetic choices in that this is a Sleek headphone it has a minimal look it lacks the more sort of ostentatious look of the momentum 3 wireless which I liked but didn't love and those design choices spill over into on head comfort so the Sennheiser are closer in weight to the Bowers and Wilkins px7s2 I think they're roughly the same close to 300 grams although I think Sennheiser have done a fantastic job of Distributing the weight around the head or throughout the headphone so we no longer get the sort of the top of the head pressure point that I experience with the momentum 3 wireless that's gone as far as I can tell and the side clamping force is somewhere between the lighter Sony and the much firmer grip of the Bowers and Wilkins it's somewhere in the middle I think it's great too and if I lean forward I never feel like the Sennheiser are going to fall off the same with the Sony really but the bowels and Wilkins yeah do have a much firmer side clamping Force even after several months of use although it has loosened a little bit but the Sennheiser I hope they don't loosen anymore they're just perfect
